First half: A particularly large and surly looking bear is ranging near where you spy a group of resources you need. Do you approach or try somewhere else?
Second half: Jackpot! Your search has been going well! You must have a nose for this or something.

Breath knew he shined when taking jobs. He loves having a directive and a goal with a clear pay-off, and it just generally made him feel like a more substantive member of the pack. That was why, when Sully offered up a coveted massage in exchange for some herb collection, he couldn't have raised his paw fast enough. Particularly because he knew more than the average Crow about plants. Or so he thought, anyway. Which is why he set off immediately in search of the more challenging plants: Starflower, Dock Leaves (yes, he knew the difference), and Celandine.

He set off with a purpose, footfalls pounding in the dirt as he peered through slitted eyes, carefully sussing out each plant he passed in search of those he sought. Almost immediately, his ember eyes spotted the brilliant greens and yellow of Celandine. A smile creeped its way onto his face before slowly dropping as he caught movement in his peripheral. Large movement. It was the slow and unsteady pace of a bear, aimlessly wandering around the small meadow, it seemed. Breath's pace slowed to a stop and he sank down low in an effort to shield himself while he made a decision, but the loudness of his coat always betrayed him.

Now, he had to make a decision: did he make an effort to approach the flowering plant, or did he turn tail in favor of, well, greener pastures? His mind was working quickly, and he decided to leave the bear alone, instead stalking off to find the other two plants on his list. He wasn't a massive risk taker, and he figured he was more useful to Sully alive and well rather than missing a limb, or worse.

Breath snuck out of the area, careful not to draw attention to himself, before resuming his typical clipped gait. Nose in the air, he trotted along, hoping he could scent the plants, but also keeping an eye out for any more danger. He really didn't feel like dealing with that, at least not today.

It wasn't long before Breath of the Wild caught the delicate scent of Starflower, and once again he grinned. Finally, pay dirt. Well, not finally, as it really didn't take him long, but whatever. He rushed over to the plant, quickly spotting its distinctive leaves and small white flowers in the distance.

As he neared, he looked around, senses alert for any kind of danger, but it seemed like he had karma on his side for this one. His mildly awkward smile stayed pasted onto his face as he realized it wasn't just Starflower, but Dock Leaves and Lavendar! He really couldn't have been luckier. Carefully, he plucked Dock Leaves off at the stem and set them aside in a small pile. For the Dock Leaves, he tore them from the rest of the plant and added them to the growing pile, then turning his attention to the Lavendar, which he plucked haphazardly, eager to get back to Mudsullied Jackal. Gathering up everything in his jaws, he gingerly trotted back to the female wolf. The stress from the bear sighting could definitely use some muscle work, which he was quite excited for. He only hoped another job was posted soon.
