	The hot summer days and warm evenings were starting to give away to brisk nights and cooler days, though it wasn't exactly autumn just yet. Dafina was very much enjoying this as she was never one for the heat, she found herself laying in the shade of a rather large tree and enjoying the nice breeze. Not too far from her was a pale colored Wild Dog with striking wing markings, it was Limerence in one of his mortal forms. While they seemed like a strange duo to be hanging out together, she was more than aware of what his true form was but kept it quiet, just as she kept her mother's origins silent. "I think someone is coming this way." Both their heads turned to face the direction of the approaching stranger.

	Areni was thinking quietly to herself as she stepped through the grass. She wasn't usually one to approach others, especially a small gathering but she had been preoccupied with her thoughts and hadn't noticed them until it was too late. It was a rather bad habit she picked up, and probably a dangerous one to boot. Her instincts screamed at her to withdraw quickly but she knew she had already been spotted. Maybe they weren't so bad? She held on to a small piece of hope and forced herself to squeak out a greeting. "Hello."

	A pair of pale and a pair of blue eyes locked on the pale female as she approached and two smiles formed across their pleasant features. "Hello," Dafina was the first to speak towards the female and rose to her feet but didn't approach. She was a little concerned her size might make her a little wary of approaching further. Limerence could adjust his size as he wanted to he was 'normal' as normal goes for a wild dog and wagged his tail behind him as he sat up. Honestly he loved this mortal form more than his other one's. "Enjoying a stroll on this day?" He added in.

	Areni knew the replies were coming but it didn't stop her from blanching slightly when they did. She wasn't used to being social and she quite failed at it. She made no effort to come forward, in fact, she wasn't sure she could. Her legs felt frozen beneath her. "Um, yes, it's quite lovely." She gave a brief smile in his direction. Was she doing everything correctly? They wouldn't hate her for being so awkward, would they? "Are the two of you enjoying the weather?"

	Giving a bright smile Dafina couldn't help but think of her mother when talking with this female. She was very much like this lioness before them, "We found the sun to be a little much so we took some time to rest in the shade, you're more than welcome to join us if you wish." Waving a paw she offered for her to join them in the coolness that the tree had to offer. Limerence smiled brightly at the female, she was cute, as he found most mortals to be. Maybe one day, if they met again, he'd show her his true form. He could tell it would just freak her out if he were to do so now. "Yes, We promise we won't bite." Smiling towards her he offered up his own thoughts.

	Areni let out a breath, her nervousness heightening at the exchange. She wanted to be friendly, but at the same time she was still scared. She hadn't had the best luck with strangers in the past and it was making her leery of the two, but they hadn't seemed like they had ill intent, or at least not yet. "Um, okay..." Her voice trailed off and she had to force her legs to move toward the two, though she still slightly kept her distance. She hated being so off putting but whole situation was strange to her. Why were they being so nice?

	Dafina returned to a laying down position to appear less threatening in some respects, even though she was doing her best to do so already. It wasn't hard to tell the other was nervous. "My name is Dafina, my companion here is called Limerence. What is it that we may call you by?" Hopefully it would help her open up a little bit. Limerence wished one of his powers was to help one's mood but that wasn't the case and none of his powers would be at all helpful here so he refrained from dwelling on the thought much longer. "If you want we can show you around the area a bit? There is a nice spot to get water not too far from here."

	She took slow steps, quietly shifting through the grass until she got to the tree and sat down a few feet from the pair. Her eyes stayed on them, her ears swiveled forward both so she could hear them better and so she could keep watch. "It's nice to meet you. I'm Areni." She hoped her voice was loud enough, she had always had issues with that. Her head tilted to one side toward the wild dog. She both did and didn't like that idea. She wanted to see the area, but at the same time being led around by two individuals she didn't know seemed like a bad idea, then again, if they were going to harm her being here wouldn't have stopped them either. "I, um, sure." She pasted on the best smile she could, wanting to hide her trepidations, though she was sure they weren't completely buying it.

	Areni, that was such a lovely name. "Areni, it's a pleasure to meet you." Though she wasn't entirely sure the feelings were mutual, but that was okay. Hopefully if they hung out long enough any of the tension she was feeling would subside and she'd be able to relax better. Meeting strangers could always fill one with anxiety, though Dafina was uncertain of what that might be as she'd never really had an issue with stranger. Limerence couldn't help but keep smiling. Mortals were such fascinating creatures, especially one's like Areni, they were just curious beings to him. "Dafina could always lead you and I can wait here, I don't mind staying back in the shade for a while." Giving her the option to spend more time one on one with the dark female. One on one might work out better in the end.

	She smiled softly, trying to do her best to not skitter away. They really were nice, maybe they really didn't have any ill intentions. As she considered this, she had a sudden flash back that made her wince and a voice in her head reminded her that just because someone was nice didn't mean they didn't have anything sinister in mind. Bringing herself back to reality, she squeaked slightly toward Limerence, flushing when she realized she did so. "Um... oh... okay..." Hadn't the walk been his idea? In one way she was glad it would be just one other person, however, in the other he had seemed pretty nice. "You... don't have to stay here, if you don't want. It'll be okay..."

	Limerence cocked his head slightly and gave a nod, "I know the word of a stranger doesn't mean much but I promise we mean you no ill will." He hoped it would help put her mind at ease a little bit, but who was to say. Dafina rose to her feet slowly and gave her a bright smile. "Oh you're going to love the river. There are all sorts of fish in it, and it's shallow enough to wade in if you want to do that as well! If you just follow me I'd be more than happy to lead the way for us." Limerence got up after her and would pick up the rear if need be. "You really are going to like it, there is a field of flowers nearby to if you're into that sort of thing." Thoughts flashed back to the female he had grown fond of in the Myrsky Syntynt that had passed, she had loved flowers. "If you just follow us we would love to show you."

	Areni slowly got to her feet and nodded, continuing to tell herself that everything would be alright. She could never move on from everything that had happened if she didn't at least try, right? "It sounds lovely." She was just barely loosening up, though her stance was still slightly hunched. She watched as the lioness led the way and began to follow, hoping this would lead to better things.
