Aria would stare down at her SNAG for a moment before slowly bringing up the keyboard to message the others.

Quote:
So, apparently one of you found the guys? And now the Kids Grid wants us all to meet in the ONBS building. Also, they can signal jack your SNAGs and it looks creepy as hell. So if you think your device is haunted, its....most likely them?

Satisfied with her message, Aria sent it off to her fellow Snagems in the area before looking towards Lykas. "Guess we just wait here for them all......got a deck of cards or something to pass the time? I'd start a game up on the SNAG but I want something we can quit easily once they get here." She asked, patting her own pockets in the search for something to entertain them that wasn't SNAG-related.

And Keiko would pop up, running to Ulla's aid like usual, the protective mother always just a shout away. While Keiko may have to intimidate the barkeep a little bit (and she would) she would find him to relent and allow the Snagems back in without much a hassle, only informing them after the fact that Sub had paid him a good bit of coin to rent out the basement to use as a temporary base of operations. Why people here had to be so difficult was anyone's guess. Either way once Keiko set things straight, through force or just threats, Ulla, Keiko, and Abby would be allowed into the basement to start getting it cleaned up.

Once Amaranth arrived at the docks she would find Sub sitting on the dock with his feet hanging over, Pym the Sharpedo looking up at him as the trainer studied a Ghost Gem which the shark had fished out of the ocean for him. "I guess we see now one reason why Flare wanted Unova's vast supply of Elemental Gems; it was part of the deal with Ein or something. They were shipping them here, probably for Ein to use in his experiments, projects and as a means to reinforce his little fortress." He said, pointing at the piece of wood next to him that had been fished out that had the markings of Driftveil Mining on it.

"Ah well, that's over and done now." He said, tossing the Ghost Gem back into the water and recalling Pym. "If you could get Pelipper to scoop up a good bit of those things down there and drop them in the lighthouse's lantern room I would appreciate it. We'll use them to fix the lens, with the Ghost Gems it should produced a beam that can stretch for miles. Not only will it help get things back to normal but I figured if we're going to do the work might as well make things better for the people of Orre than ever before." With that said he gave Amaranth a nod and made his way into the lighthouse.

Requiem of Whyspers

"Ah, just who I wanted to see." Sub said as he approached Odd and Wren standing in front of the lighthouse. "Odd, could you do one more thing for me and head up to the lantern room? Amaranth should be dropping off some Ghost Gems up there to fix the lantern's lens with. If anyone can figure out how to manipulate those things properly it's you. Ghost Gems, or Ambigunite. are funny in that their shape can just spontaneously alter, makes them hard to work with. So I figured maybe a Ghost Channeler can bind them into a proper form. Might learn something new, huh?" He asked the Channeler before turning to Wren.

"Want to come with me into the serve room to see if I can't get the machinery working again? I could use a more level headed person nearby so I don't end up breaking the thing worse than it already is." He asked Wren, not waiting for an answer as he soon headed on in.

Once Blizzard and Tristen took care of the bridge and made their way back to the lighthouse they would find the door right before the lantern room open with someone shouting inside. It was Sub, frustrated and arguing with GRAY as he was trying to get the machinery working again. After Amaranth had moved the gems to the top it was a simple to affix them to the lens, in fact he just had Odd do it due to the strange properties of Ghost Gems and the Channeler's ability to get them to affix to objects.

For now he had Wren with him in the service room, mostly to act as a mediator between him and GRAY as tensions flared. Sub was not in the mood for the AI's sarcasm especially since he was having such trouble with getting the machinery to fire back up, even though GRAY insisted it was fixed. Maybe this was Tristen's cue to light it up?

Zook wouldn't argue with Leslie, he was far too scared to mess with her or any of the other Snagems anymore and instead obeyed willingly. Sure enough he knew where a good bit of stuff was around town and had filled up several boxes full of medicines and canned goods, both of which were suppose to be scarce and yet Zook knew exactly where to look, obviously he had been holding out on people. He would take the stuff to Krabby Klub and into the basement where Leslie would find Keiko, Ulla, and Abby cleaning and sprucing the place up. Leslie might have to smack Zook a few times along the way when he showed signs of running but it wasn't anything she couldn't handle.

Eventually Leslie would get a message for one more thing to pick up, a large PC server sitting outside the machine parts shop with one Golurk standing guard. Sure, Odd's Golurk could have carried it to just outside Krabby Klub and then had someone smaller carry it in but wouldn't it be more fun to make Zook carry it all the way? The heavy object would be a simple carry for a hybrid like Leslie but even a muscle bound jerk like Zook would struggle with it.

Once she got him to pick it up and carry it they would get half way to Krabby Klub before Zook finally had enough and his ignorant cocky persona overpowered his cowardice finally and he took what he saw as an opportunity to get revenge and freedom at the same time, though he would probably quick learn why what he was about to do was a really bad idea.

"Carry your own crap! Zook is the boss here!" He shouted as he summoned forth his idiot strength and spun around with the PC server to give himself some momentum before letting it loose and fly at Leslie, not realizing that even if it hit her she would be relatively unharmed but they did kind of need it. Regardless he tried to use this opportunity to make a run for it, figuring that it was only one little mutant girl now with a machine flying at his face so he should be able to escape easily, right? Wrong. Leslie was probably just looking for a reason to finally let out her anger and he just gave it to her.

Freth sighed to herself. "There's nothing here." Freth said to Kaya. "Nothing of use or to note other than being reassured what kind of devastating force S22 is. Right now, I'm just glad that he is all that we primarily got to worry about and not Shadow Mewtwo as well. Just one folly Ein pulled. A mistake I'm fairly certain he won't make again. Let's meet back up with the others and see what they found out." The Articuno female then made her way off back to the depths of town to meet up with the others.

--------

It would take a bit of time, but eventually the bridge did get back working. Unfortunately it wasn't the best of fixes and still needs more work; more than what we here were capable of doing for the long term. It at the very least was able to serve our purpose in giving easy access to the lighthouse to get that once again back up to snuff. Once again, time had to be spent trying to get that to work...probably more so between Sub's and GRAY's bickering with each other on occasion.

"Alright Tristen, let's try to get a jump start on this thing..." I said as the two of us stood at the main power box. "Hopefully once we get this thing going, it'll stay on."

"How much do I need to let loose?"

"Hard as you can. Thunderbolt strength." I said. "This is a big place to jump start."

Tristen took a deep breath then unleashed a powerful surge of electricity from himself, putting everything he could behind it.

Aile looked confused at first, and then began to bristle when the curtains moved in a windless room, only keeping from sending out her Pokémon when she realized who it was. When Sol took of the disguise, she could only laugh, as the people that they'd been looking for was in the last place any of the Snagems seemed to be willing to look. "Dammit, of all the places. No kidding we have things to talk about." Before she could start asking the questions, she heard her SNAG go off and checked the message.

Quote:
'Yeah, the two were at Fateen's. Seriously, was anyone else going to come here if I didn't? Also, so not creepy, but expected from a bunch of tech savvy people. People have any place they want to meet up, or should I ask them where to go?'

After Aile sent off the message, she put the device away and put her hands in her pockets once more, relaxing a bit. "So, what's happened since Gateon Port the first time around? And how the hell did that Colosseum become a pile of junk?"

"Unless he kept it on him..." Cera remarked, having no luck in her efforts either. But then the SNAG on her went off, showing the messages Aria and Aile had sent. "...what." Immediately, she closed her eyes to focus, getting another read for any mental signatures. Despite her efforts, she still wouldn't be able to get a read on either of them. "Guess they're using a couple chunks of ebonite. I can't blame them."

With a light sigh, she'd get to work on sending a reply to both messages and having them go to the others in the town.

"I didn't see a message from them. And I thought we'd need a key, so I went to find that. Though, the person I thought would be around... um, isn't. Aria was saying something about the building she's in, so we should regroup there and update the others that stayed behind. If someone could do that, that'd be great. Or I could, either or."

"Well, they were found. One of them got something saying to rendezvous at, uh... your headquarters. Don't know if the key's here either, so it's probably better to meet up with them and the others. Keeping her SNAG ready in case she'd have to update the others after all, Cera would start for the door. No, she was not going to board it back up.

---

"A lot," Wes spoke up. "Some of it too sensitive to talk about here. And I see you discovered part of that infernal Mewtwo's handiwork. When we escaped, it was the first place we went to. Closed it up, too, but it turns out that isn't a good hiding spot."

"When you're a town like Pyrite, the idea of using Dark Gems in construction doesn't come up much. Though it did let us get out of there with my Xatu and to eventual safety. Safety being relative..." Sol added, moving to grab the robes he'd taken off to start putting them back on. "Anyway, it's closed for sudden renovations."

"Assuming the liaison's with another of your friends, we should regroup with them. We can explain everything there." As Wes spoke, he'd also get a similar robe to put on. "With any luck, they'll either be there already or en route."

"Sorry for the odd secrecy, Aile, but we can't be too careful for any unintended ears. Anyways, just follow us."

Sol would leave first, followed by Wes, both of them intending to lead Aile to the ONBS building across town.

"They'd probably work better than Electric Gems, too... if they're used like that. Not used to hearing about anything other than Dark Gems being used as an anti-psychic deterrent, though I guess the rest would be common for something?" She'd try to think about it for a moment, but Amaranth figured it could be sorted out later. "Pelipper, go ahead and start scooping them up. Leave them in the lighthouse, don't worry about the water. Gale and I will go on ahead."

Letting her Pidgeot out, she'd leave Pelipper to the task at hand and join Sub in going to the lighthouse.

Keiko sighed when it was all said and done. She really didn't like violence between humans, even if she was only half of one, but some people just had to be difficult, even when they had already been paid, apparently. That little nugget of information annoyed her the most. But the deed was done, and the team could rest easy in the bar for the time being. It didn't help that Keiko was still on edge from being held hostage by one of Ein's lackeys, either.

"Some people just like being pushed around, I guess," Absinthe, who had seen the entire spectacle of Keiko 'convincing' the bar owner to let the team stay in the bar, sighed

"Tell me about it," Keiko replied, sounding a bit annoyed. "At least everyone's okay."

This time, it was Abby's turn to sigh. "You got that right. That could have gone way worse."

"Well, at least we'll have some time to relax and unwind before the next leg of the mission," Keiko said with a weak smile. It was then that Rala's corrupted energy, weak as it was due to Rala being close to becoming purified, registered in Keiko's senses for the first time in a while. She didn't pick the Gardevoir's ball up, but she did look at her purse, where said ball was currently stored. "Maybe I'll get the chance to help her before we leave," she mumbled to herself.

"Well, we're not exactly done working at the moment," Abby grunted, pulling herself off the wall she was leaning on. "Come on, this place isn't gonna clean itself."

Keiko shook her head at herself and stood up straight as well. "Oh! Right, I forgot about that for a second. Here, let me help you with that," Keiko spoke up, moving to assist Abby with cleaning.

"Nah, you're good," she replied, waving it away. "I understand the situation we're in here. And sounds good." Aile would casually follow the two out, taking in how the atmosphere had changed since leaving while keeping a fast stride. It did bring her down a bit to see it like this, where people kept more to themselves than interact with each other. Even if a less than healthy amount of those interactions were bad. It was always fun to get into a fight. Not start it, but get into one, sure.

While Leon was looking around for some sort of clue, he noticed Cera get a message on her SNAG. Out of habit, he took his out to see nothing came to him until he realized that there were cameras in the place. "So. They were one step ahead of us then. They prepared for everything." He said as he put his SNAG away as Cera said they should rendezvous with the rest. "Agreed." Leon said as he was going to follow the group.

Ulla was glad everything worked out with the barkeeper. She entered the bar as there was still some shattered glass on the floor and spilled over alcohol. She covered her nose as the smell of it was hitting her finally. She looked over to Keiko and Abby as she noticed Keiko looking into her purse talking about 'her'. Before they left to get here, she didn't know she had Rala's ball. So, for all Ulla knew, Keiko could be speaking about a Pokemon she had on her own. "I'll get started with cleaning up the floor." She said as she looked at Lucario. "Could you go to the back and grab a broom? I'll start washing off the tabletops of any alcohol." She said as she grabbed a wet rag from the bar as Lucario went to the back.

As the groups eventually converged to the dilapidated ONBS building, Perr in tow as he was escorted with Aile by Wes and Sol, they'd find another short-range transmission reach them. This time, it was thankfully able to reach a lot more than just a couple of people.

Good, you're all here... I think? Your numbers seem smaller than what we've been told about. Dirtbike, you can let them and our agent down the elevator whenever you're ready. Rainbow, you have an in with them; if there's anyone not present, contact and have them rendezvous here too?

--The Kids Grid

Wes could be seen digging in a pocket in response to the transmission, pulling out the elevator key that had been on a constant hunt just a few moments ago and leaving Perr to feel a bit embarrassed at forgetting about that. "Well, you've heard them. We'll get the others to speed as they arrive. It's probably better that you went with a smaller force, too; less of a bullseye that way."

Unlocking the elevator, he'd stand by to send it down when the rest joined him. In turn, Sol would do the one thing he hadn't dared do since his extended stint in Orre: he turned on his SNAG. "They might've stayed behind to set something up elsewhere. Knowing how fast they can work, they should be nearly done. It should be safe enough for them to arrive too, but discussions can start now. I would suggest that Cera could inform them to come instead, but even with XD002's absence, we can't risk-"

"It's not coming back."

Hearing no doubt in her voice at all, Sol gave one glance at the Mew. And then, a nod as he turned off his SNAG. "I see. In that case, alert the others to join us here. It should be slightly safer than using the SNAG network here, and anything beyond short-range communication is difficult; it's a small miracle that we were able to contact you when we did."

He'd get onto the elevator himself, leaving Cera to deal with the telepathic broadcast to everyone on Gateon Port. In the meantime, with everyone on board, Wes would send the elevator down.

Almost as soon as it finished its trip, the gate before them would open up to reveal two more people: one guy and one girl that Perr would instantly recognize. "Nett, Megg."

The two would nod, before Nett spoke up. "Finally. Welcome to the Under. You all ready to hear the plan we've cooked up?"

Arkelos and Jezebel Teleport to the SS Anne II with Alakazam's help. Jezebel quickly finishes the last of her dishes. With little chef's help (Aloan Rattata) he tops the last of the garnishes. Making their way up stairs to the Galley she starts to set up a huge banquet buffet.

"I hope we can get this finished in time." She said to herself. Arkelos walks into the room with his book to see Jezebel scrambling. "Mind if i ask what you are doing?" he said looking on in confusion. Jezebel turns to see who was speaking, "Oh Arkelos, could you give me a hand? The other should be back shortly from their mission. As Morale captain i think it would be a welcome site to offer something for them after their long mission." Arkelos closes his book, "Do you really think they would have time for this? Come on now, they are way to busy, i'm sure most of them will just grab another mission and vanish before even being seen."

Jezebel gauked in shock, "EXCUSE ME!? When did you become mr, Dont give a *bleep* about anyone? I'm sure you missed them just as much as they missed you." Arkelos scoffed, "I seriously doubt that after my last attempt to help them. I'm surprised they even let me stay in the guild. Who was i fooling to try and pretend i was a Flare grunt. Do need to remind you, that i did just as much if not more damage to the city because of my stupidity?"
Jezebel stomped over to Arkelos, "LOOK HERE! I seriously DOUBT your doubt. Did you even run it by Sub? Probably not, just because you were, whatever you were, before joining this team. These are Good people here, yes some have a temper, and others come across as rude and blunt. How can you say that about them? Have you even TALKED about it with any of them!?" Turning back around to get back to the party planning, "I feel like you have some demons to sniff out and battle. While you're doing your "soul searching" i suggest you help me. If not there is some milk and cookies in the kitchen if you're hungry."

Arkelos threw his book down, "Where do you want these, since you have elected yourself the honor of Morale Captain (if that is even a title) tell me what you need done."

The two got to decorating. Arkelos and Jezebel's pokemon came out to help. After some time has passed, Everything was set up. 6 pies, 12 different dozens of cookies, Three casseroles, 5 different soups, 3 Vegetable and Berry platters, Drink stations, including Berry juice blends, 2 different imported teas, and two slightly alcoholic drinks; one being spearmint, the other being spicy.

Little Chef was finalizing the buffet table. Jezebel was clearing up any trash and debris from decorating, and Arkelos was sitting on a chair reading a book.

"Alright, i believe everything is done. Thank you for your help everyone."

Wren nodded to Sub's request to follow him to the server room at about the same time Odd nodded in acquiescence to the request from him as well. The two channelers went their separate directions, with Odd heading up first and Wren following Sub whichever direction was needed to reach the server room. By the time anyone else showed up to check on him, Odd had managed to construct an, albeit, somewhat rudimentary lens from the Ghost Gems provided. He'd only just figured out how to bond the gems together properly when Sub returned and was securing them in place with a very carefully crafted Guardian Halo intended to prevent the gems from spontaneously morphing into an unusual shape. Sub would find the lens to be unique in more ways than it's construction from Ghost Gems, however. Odd had been careful to craft the team's emblem into it in a way that it would cut a path across the desert as it's light shone out, leading any who sought them back to the team's temporary base.

~~~
Wren could do little more than watch as Sub and GRAY argued in the server room. He knew next to nothing about computers or how they worked so his usefulness here was limited to simply trying to prevent the channeler and the AI from attacking one another. He had, at one point, been forced to restrain Sub from knocking a hole in the machinery and calm him down, so that was at least one instance of usefulness. Once Tristen showed up and was able to help get the things going, hopefully left in better hands than Sub's frustrated ones, he'd head to the top of the lighthouse to find Odd there, finishing his work.
~~~

Lykas shrugged at Aria as she sent messages to the various Snagems in the area. "Sounds like they want to just meet up here?" He admitted as questions started come back regarding where to meet and that Aile had found Sol and Wes. He did respond to Aile's inquiry if anyone else was coming to Fateen's if she hadn't.

Quote:

I had considered it. But then I saw you already going that direction and I figured you could handle a phony fortune teller with your dirt channeling if you ran into any trouble.

Once everyone was gathered together and Perr unlocked the elevator down, he'd follow rather calmly, though he would be watching everything going on closely. Something about this building was throwing him off but he was currently chalking it up to the Grid's bugging the place so they could watch it. When they reached the Under, he'd nod to the two who greeted them. "Might as well hear the battle plan so we can start poking holes in it where possible." He replied. "If we're going to die fighting, I'd like to at least leave one hell of a memory in my wake."

~~~
Kaya nodded in agreement with Freth, pulling out his SNAG and checking the incoming messages as they moved, figuring out pretty quickly that they were meeting at the ONBS building. He wasn't entirely sure where that was but, apparently, Freth knew this place well enough so he followed her. he kept his mouth shut, for the most part, when the discussions came up regarding Ein, communications and plans. The last thing he wanted, was anyone pointing out that he was a walking radio antenna. Especially if he could ever get the hang of using magnetic energy again after that one time he'd managed to use Magnet Rise. Either way, he moved away from the group at first, until the elevator was unlocked and everyone crammed themselves into it to head down. Stuffing himself into a corner with his blades kept close to his side in order to avoid stabbing anyone, sheathed or not.
~~~

Once all was said and done in Gateon, Odd and Wren would return to the SS Anne II, finding themselves invited to a veritable banquet of foodstuff prepared by Jezebel. "I swear, you can't make a small meal to save your life." Odd joked with a small laugh, looking at the spread the woman had prepared.

"I'm not complaining!" Wren countered Odd's joke with a laugh of his own, helping himself to some of the food. He hadn't realized how hungry he was until the smell of all of this had reached his nose.
PostPosted: Wed Jun 19, 2019 10:34 pm
Abby would be the first to show up, though she looked like she was coming down to the kitchen to raid it, not knowing about Jezebell's work and thinking that only the staff of the ship would be on the ship. "Oh," the teen blurted when she recognized Jezebelle and Arkelos. "Uh... good job. You guys look like you worked hard on this."

Before hearing Arkelos's or Jezebelle's responses, the young Deathrage took note of Odd and Wren stuffing themselves. "So, I guess it's for everyone? I'll just help myself then if that's okay," Before she could bring herself to do so, however, Keiko walked in behind her. "Wow! Thank you so much, Jezebelle!" the Lopunny hybrid cheered with a warm smile before making her way to the tables.
