It had been a while since the Ba'ushufo - many moons since the ceremony, in fact, but she was hopeful that the colorful male she'd met would still be interested in showing her around his pride.

Faatina stalked her way to the Bahari's border with the Kizingo'zaa, keeping her eyes alert for any guards that may stop and interrogate her on her way. In fact, she hoped to run into one of them - they were a friendly pride and would surely be able to point her in the direction of Nkanyenzi. He seemed to go by Nkan - easier, as his name was quite a mouth full of consonants. Her teal tail twitched as she stood at the border, gazing around this way and that looking for anyone to come assist her. An old and experienced lioness who had spent some time as a rogue, Faatina knew better than to walk directly into other pride's territories - although the K'Z were a very kind bunch, it was still a risk. And she didn't want to upset anyone, particularly as these past few moons she'd spent mulling over the idea of leaving.

She had been with the Bahari'mtoto since birth, and she absolutely lived for the sea, but with her family all grown and with their own families and complete lives, she felt left out. She felt purposeful through her nannying of the pride's cubs, but Faatina still felt like she lacked so much in life. And what she had been lacking she was pretty sure she saw shining within Nkan's eyes - maybe not him, or maybe indeed him, but definitely a change of pace and scenery. He enjoyed visiting the Bahari, and she hoped to enjoy visiting the Kizingo'zaa. Particularly as she thought about it as a potential new home.
