Usiku was ready for a well earned rest. He found a comfortable, but not exceptionally well-hidden, spot to settle in. In the dark, his fur was mostly effective camouflage, and it wasn't like he was particularly worried about someone starting a fight. He would surely hear anyone approaching, and if things got bad, he wasn't so exhausted that he couldn't flee. Fighting wasn't in his nature.
He stretched, his muscles thanking him for the break. He had been travelling for quiet some time, totally aimless. There was nowhere to be, nowhere to call home. Might as well travel and see the most he could.
It didn't take long for the scent to hit him. Someone was near. He perked up, only able to see... someone's ears? He flicked his tail.
"Hello there." Might as well let them know that he was aware of their presence.
