His body
ached. How much time had even passed? Cooped up in a dark cave, time felt like a standstill. Today...today would be the day he would leave this cave, even at the disgruntled snorts of the lighter colored raven that roosted on a perch in the dark. "If you can leave it." Asim'a-ciro growled, "so can I."
The avian didn't argue. Instead, he just lifted his wing, pointing the way from the dark cave. As Ciro emerged, he hid his eyes from the sunlight. It took a moment for the golden orbs to adjust, but the feel of the sun against his pelt made everything feel different. Unfortunately, the sun didn't last long. Just as quickly as he had stepped out of the den, the skies began to swirl, bright lights clashed through the clouds, and a frown ever present on Ciro's maw. How interesting.
Ciro moved further from his solitude, in his true form. He had no reason to mask it, and if he did, it wasn't like he quite
knew how. The god flared his wings as he stretched, the scent of death hitting his nostrils. His eyes opened, seeing another creature. She had horns, unlike his and wore furs? All Ciro had to him was a flame pendant around his neck, a feather next to it and his own horns and wings.
"So much death," He mused, staring at a few dead birds on the ground. "Nothing to even take from them." He turned towards the Goddess, eyes narrowed as he heard her comment. "Mkodi?" He felt as if he knew that name? He should know that name.
