Hello and welcome to this Dummane Character Contest Extravaganza! This is a character giveaway for the cheetah-dominated Dummane coalition! Please read up on the "About the Dumanne" if you're unfamiliar! ^^
This Contest consists of three parts:

Ranking Member Character Contest
As the first order of business, the Dummane is...well, short a few key players. This is where you come in! Have you always wanted a character with more responsibility? But perhaps not that much responsibility? Well, this is your chance! But first - read up on the ranks!
What I'm offering:
Semi customs designed around specific key ranks
How this works:
Look through the key ranking members the Dummane is currently missing Design a character to fill that rank Focus on character personality and backstory - this is what I'm looking at! You may offer some design 'input' - gender, lines, general color palette, and one key design aspect - please note that these will all be cheetahs! At the end of the contest, I will pick which character personality/backstory I think fits the rank and the Dumanne best!

Reporting For Duty! SoA Name: Mdjai Desired Rank and Clan: Right Hand for the Deathstalker Clan SoA Backstory:
Mdjai was born in Dumanne in the Deathstalker Clan. As a cub, he was certain that he would leave his clan and make his own path from his family. One day he decided to go adventuring on his own in hopes of figuring out more about the world around him. During his outing, he came across a lion near the border. He tried to silently get away from the lion but was seen. The lion struck Mdjai with his claws, leaving a heavy gash across Mdjai's face. Before the lion could attack again, one of the cheetahs from the Deathstalker clan intervened and saved him. From that day forward Mdjai had a new found respect for his clan and strived to become someone his clan could be proud of.
SoA Personality:
When Mdjai is standing still he is the image of a seasoned fighter lost in thought. However the moment he opens his mouth that image is shattered. Despite his seriousness when it comes to his duties, he is often times seen being jovial, playing and joking around with anyone around him. He cares deeply about his clan and would do anything to keep it and his pride protected.
Why they fit this rank: Mdjai loves his clan and his pride. He rises up to the challenge of being right hand while remaining who he is. More than anything he wants to be there to set an example for everyone else.

Reporting For Duty! SoA Name: Einion Desired Rank and Clan: Clan Leader for the Sidewinders Clan SoA Backstory: Einion was abandoned as a young cub and spent the first several months of his life fighting to survive in a harsh land at the edge of a desert. He managed to teach himself very rudimentary skills for the sake of survival, many of which were the basis for his craftsmanship. He managed to craft basic traps out of twigs to to catch small prey, learned to burrow shallow dens into the sand to escape the elements, and even layered large, tropical leaves over his hide as protection from the heat. Unfortunately, being that he had never learned to hunt as a proper cheetah, the older he got the more nutrition he required and he could not keep up with the demands of his body. By the time he was found, he was half grown and only skin and bones. A scouting party with the Dumanne took him in, nursed him to proper health, and once they realized his affinity for crafting he was sent to the Sidewinders clan as an apprentice beneath the former Clan Leader. He is smaller than most males, but tough, and he never did quite learn how to hunt properly. SoA Personality: Einion, like his namesake, is as tough and unyielding as an anvil. He is perhaps the least socially capable of all the Clan Leaders, having claimed his place at the head of his clan not because of politics or charisma but because of sheer skill and an unflappable dedication to his work. Everything that he oversees, every project his clan takes on, is expected to meet the highest standards. If they would not use it themselves, why should they expect anyone else to? He believes wholeheartedly that they honor their coalition the most by giving them the best shelters, best tools, and best crafts that they can create. He is a tough but fair individual who sometimes lacks the ability to read social queues and may not always be empathetic towards those that could use a gentle word. In fact, he might not say many words at all. What he is missing in friendliness, however, he makes up for in dedication and loyalty. Why they fit this rank: He is tough, dedicated, and has an attention to detail. He will lead his clan with unshakable determination and hold all of his clan members to the highest standard in both their crafting and their life.

SoA Name: Najmat Talamae (meaning, the stars shine) Desired Rank and Clan: Right Hand for the Sidewinder Clan SoA Backstory:
Najmat was raised by two mothers, who were both established crafters within the Dumanne. They taught their daughter how to craft, but also much more than that. She learned patience from tanning leather; she learned resourcefulness from crafting tools, and a keen eye for detail in the intricate designs and beautiful peltwork her mothers were renowned for. Najmat is capable and holds a great sense of pride in her profession, creations and physical appearance.
Her mother’s taught not only crafting, watching her two strong role models, Najmat developed into a well-adjusted person. Confident in her abilities and talented in the arts of negotiation, she will never shy away from a decision, or hold her tongue when words needs to be said.
The girl does not know her father; but presumes he lived amongst the Dumanne - her mothers keep many male lovers, and one of them is most likely who sired her. Though, she has never been curious enough to seek him out.
Najmat’s specialisation is specifically focused on crafting dens. She also loves furnishing them!
SoA Personality:
Najmat loves herself. She is confident, vain, charismatic and eccentric to boot. She will stand toe to toe with anyone who would question her - and has a genuine passion for crafting and creation. Though her profession is her first love, making social connections within the clan is a close second.
Why they fit this rank: Najmat understands both crafting and people; how to motivate, how to inspire, how to challenge. Though there many be more talented crafters out there, her mother’s included, it takes more than that to be in a position of influence. It takes leadership qualities and a capability to listen and act in the best interest of the clan.
