[PRP] Weryling Duties (Andrestia, Veltanna, Eith & Moirath)

It wasn’t one of her favorite chores as a junior weryling but at least mending leather was easy enough work considering the time she had spent at her mother’s brothel mending whatever they handed to her. Picking a corner the small blonde tucked herself away as Eith curled up next to her feet watching the rest on chore duty. He seemed rather fixated on studying who of his siblings and cousins were with which riders and even more so how they interacted with one another. Every so often he would comment, stating something mundane about them and how they didn’t compare to his rider as Andrestia hummed a tune as she worked.

He seemed perked with a little bit of curiosity as he glanced up to her before settling on his thoughts again.

Glancing at him she grinned.

The brown snorted as he laid his head down on the cool stone.

A laugh fell from her lips as she reached down scratching between the horns.

He snorted again as she leaned into her scratches, only giving a noise of a pout as she turned her focus back on her work. Sooner it was done, sooner everyone could leave and Andrestia didn’t want to be responsible for holding the rest of her weyrmates up with work.

Eeeeeeeiiiiiiith! Moirath called, bouncing over to the brown. Aren’t you bored? Our humans aren’t even moving much. We should all go run and play!

Veltanna gave Andrestia and her dragon an apologetic look. Perhaps he doesn’t want to play.

Moirath was hearing none of that. Nonsense. Play is very important. She bounced around Eith some more. Come! Let’s Do Something.

There was no hope of reining Moirath in unless Eith decided to say no. “She seems to have decided Eith needs stimulation. If he doesn’t let her know and I can likely redirect her to someone else.” Maybe. Possibly. Hopefully.

Eith cocked his head at his cousin as she came bouncing over to him, within a minute he eagerly wagged his tail with as much energy as she had. Looking up at Andrestia he gave a coo sound before putting his claws on her knees to nudge her hand as if to get attention.

I can go play, yes Andrestiamine?

Giving a smile to Veltanna she gave a nod before scratching behind his horns. ”You can go play, just don’t get underfoot of anyone working ok.”

As soon as he heard the words of permission he was off, tumbling over Moirath as the blonde giggled at their excitement before grinning at Veltanna again.

”It’s quite ok really, Eith needs to play at times too.”
