	Concept Contest We have two mystery ladies available as Outlands' members. This is a straightforward concept contest. Tell me a little about one of these ladies, and you may just win her! 	Lioness 1 Name: Bast Meaning: Egyptian - - Fire, Heat; As per their myth a goddess of fertility and the sun who was considered a protector of Lower Egypt Personality: While her pelt glows like it's been kissed by the sun, her personality is quite the opposite. Cold and cunning this calculated lioness ended up leaving the lands in which she called home because she felt as though she could learn no more. One thing she values above all is knowledge. Once she believes she has learned everything she can she moves on or starts to learn about something else until she's exhausted everything there is. While she's more about collecting knowledge, she will also collect secrets, someone's darkest thoughts and hold them close for later use if so needed. WHILE, she isn't past blackmail it's not something she'd ever consider unless absolutely necessary. Truly she just loves to learn the darkest parts of someone so that she can better understand them and how they operate. Despite her cool exterior she can be quite affectionate if you get her to open up to you over the course of some time. It's not something she does willingly, only for close companions and potential lovers. Strongly believing that there are many out there that can share a close connection to you she's not against taking multiple partners and encourages other's to love for the sake of it, or to gain a few things if need be. Affection is one of the strongest tools in getting someone to spill things that they normally wouldn't and she's been known to use that to her advantage a time or two. Perhaps you'll be the one who can tie her down in the future. Backstory: Lands torn apart by the suns blazing heat she came from a pride that lived deep in the heart of a desolate wasteland. Despite it's appearance there was life hidden deep in the caves that littered the nearby hills. The lions that lived there were tough, cunning and occasionally quite mean spirited but they had a wealth of knowledge for their lands didn't always use to look like such. Once they had been lush and full of life and mystery, knowledge of all sorts to be passed on to those that wanted it. A fateful day came when someone crossed the wrong 'lion' and the lands were cursed to become empty and void of anything livable but their knowledge still remained. Bast was one of those who reveled in collecting and cataloging everything they had known. Once the lands became barren of life and passerby's stopped coming she eventually had to leave because there was nothing left for her to learn. It was the one thing that kept her busy and helped her forget that their lands weren't what they used to be so she sought out other places in which to make herself at home. After traveling and talking to other's she eventually made her way to the Outlands so that she could set herself up and learn everything she could about their history and their current leadership. Perhaps even learn more about the prides that neighbored them as well.

	((If this is too late, I totally understand. I forgot to submit it earlier today.)) Lioness 2 Name: Amaunet Meaning: "Hidden" Personality: Sly and mysterious, Amaunet comes off as dreamy and mysterious most of the time. Others find it difficult to get to know her as she can come off as either aloof or elusive depending on her mood. She is easily distracted as she prefers to dedicate all of her time and attention to things that she is passionate about. If asked to do anything else, she will spend the bare minimum of time and effort before throwing herself back into what she wants to do. That being said, she is absolutely fanatic about fulfilling her responsibilities and is 100% devoted to the pride. Backstory: Amaunet was born, with two siblings, to a wandering lioness who didn't want to be a mother. Her mother refused to tell them about their father, so Amanuet knows nothing about her heritage. They got the bare amount of care and learned quickly to be self-reliant. As soon as she considered them old enough, her mother abandoned her and her siblings in the middle of the night. The three siblings wandered together for awhile before splitting up to find their own paths. Amaunet's wandering brought her to the Outlands and she threw herself wholeheartedly into the culture and has sworn to never leave the lands of the pride ever again. She secretly hopes that her siblings will join her someday, but refuses to speak of them to anyone.

	Lioness 1 Name: Velka Meaning: A Slavonic name meaning “Great Fame”. Personality: Devoted and well-founded, Velka takes after her grandfather when it comes to her outward way of thinking. Though she can be apprehensive at times, the lioness never allows fear to govern her choices. Backstory: Velka is an only child, her mother died giving birth to her before any of her other siblings could be born. A disease lingers in her lineage, a sickness of the mind that slowly takes it's toll over time, it often ends in the afflicted losing themselves to madness. This fate took her father from her, so she grew up raised by her grandfather and mother. When her grandmother died of natural causes all she had left in the world was her grandfather, they were as thick as thieves. When the lioness came of age her grandfather made Velka vow to put him down in the event of madness, believing life to be meaningless without free will. So when that fateful day came the lioness kept her word, slaying the last living member of her ill-fated family, a lion she loved dearly. She is now completely alone in the world.
