Sign-up Rules
Each player may only enter one lion in this tournament. Exception below.
The current Sky Champion may enter and not count against the player's limit. Since they already have edits, however, they are exempt from prize qualification (outside of continuing a reign as Champ)
Adults and Adolescents may participate. It is voluntary.
Each clan may 'enter' in as many of their members as they want. We are always hoping for a minimum of 2 per clan, but there are no penalties if not.
You will need to sign up in advance! A bracket will be made, and everyone will be randomized onto it.
Tournament Rules
- You will have one week to do your battle.
Incomplete RPs count
Many factors will be considered when picking a winner in an incomplete RP. Post and hit count may matter, or maybe just whoever posted last.
If an RP gets no reply at all by the deadline, the player who started the RP wins automatically.
Winners should post links to the battle RPs in the tournament thread!
How to Duel
- Intro posts - RNG 1-6, highest roll goes first. Re-roll for ties.
Duel! - RNG 1-3 (1 is a miss, 2-3 is a hit)
Final posts - No RNG, wrap up fight/RP
This should give each partner 5 posts in the RP, enough to count as a full regular RP (word count permitting). Add posts as necessary to reach the minimum, if desired!
First participant to 3 hits wins.
This means all fights will now end on a hit!
Prizes
- Sky Champion
The Sky Champion will receive a trophy as proof of their strength (modeled here by past winner Yamini).
The feathers, paint, thread and fur are all customized to the winner, though they only get to wear it for the year.
Second & Third Place Winners
The second and third place winners will also receive moderate face and mane edits!
There is no official IC recognition for these places.
Everybody Else
Any participants who complete at least one tournament RP will receive feather or flower stock edits (seen here).
