tab Breedings are one of the biggest draws to the b/c. With it being called "breedable/changeables", breedings are one of the main features of plenty of shops. It's incredibly rewarding to see your characters grow their family-lines and continue legacies as time goes on. However, before you get to mixing together some ponies you should check this nifty guide!
Your pony must be on the adult uncert. We will not be allowing any other age to breed. As long as the stage is an adult you're good to go. Please also use the official images from the server instead of your own hosted images. Only post in colorist threads that are open, or open flash breeding threads. Every colorist will have their own set colorist thread. This is where you'll post most requests for breedings, but flash breedings will open during events that have RNG slots attached, and RLC breedings are also an option. Flash breedings are threads that will be set up randomly where more than one colorist will pick through the options as a group. Your pony cannot breed again until their previous litter has been certed as adults. To further ensure breedings don't go abandoned, you must have your breeding certed before you can try for more. They also must be adults, too. Ponies need time to recover from having kids! Same sex pairings are allowed! While they'll need to take the magical option for breeding, they can have children without restriction. Any sex and gender can breed with one another! Mockbreedings are not allowed. Mockbreedings are not allowed. If you want a character to make another character, it must be official. There are ways to custom a child to look exactly how you want, which can be found below.

tab Not all processes will be exactly the same, as those who work for M4S will sometimes throw out random or surprise breedings, but the general process is typically the same for those not considered unique breedings. Any unique breedings will state their difference and often be incredibly rare.
tab Ponies who wish for biological children can approach the matter of reproduction in two ways; magically or physically. We all know how babies are made, which can lead to pregnancy. Unfortunately, this only works for those who biologically can give birth, but those who can't may request aide magically. The magical option allows those involved in creation to still make a biological child. All involved will feel nauseous during a typical pregnancy period but neither gain weight or feel their body change. When the general time for a pregnancy period would come to an end those involved will go to sleep and awaken to newborns. Sometimes, only one involved in the creation of life will experience these symptoms. It's entirely up to the Alicorn of Fertility. Those who select the magical option do not need to be physically intimate; all they need to do is either seek the Alicorn of Fertility out and receive her blessing, or be randomly selected.
tab Not all parents are willing. The Alicorn of Fertility sometimes feels cruel and will select those who are within a close proximity and "bless" them with children. This is always a magical affair; parents will not physically grow a child inside of them and will give birth the magical method. Sometimes, she just thinks certain ponies will make interesting kids. Other times they've angered her for one reason or another. There's also the chance she's just abusing her power, which.... sadly happens.
tab The Alicorn of Fertility doesn't control who can get pregnant through physical means, but she entirely watches over magical birth. She also can influence the fertility of a pony, giving them more or less for a period of time. She's useful to seek out if you're having trouble! She is owned by Nymphiea and can be RPed with, although no out-of-character benefits will result in said RP. It is purely plot-orientated.
tab Breedings are when ponies are mixed together to make a generation two+ character. These ponies will always be related to their parents, but it's up to the owners how to raise these characters and how they were born (magical/physical). We do not discriminate gender pairings or reasons for breeding as long as it fits our rules and Gaia TOS. You may also indicate your pony spoke to the Alicorn of Fertility without actually RPing with her.
tab When you're ready to breed there's a few options you can take. You can look for a colorist thread currently open and accepting breedings. You can wait for flash mixers/breedings to open which will have RNG slots attached regardless of colorist preference. You also can look out for special breeding slots that open throughout the year which create unique children (mutant breeding slots, holiday influence slots, etc). RLC is also another quick route and allows for more direct control and removal of the RNG system in determining breeds and numbers of kids.
tab Up to three ponies can breed together. While we support polyamory, we need to put a limit to three for two reasons; the cert can't handle a bunch of names in the parent section and we don't want to overwhelm a child with a plethora of color/gene options. We don't care if the couples are married, just friends, or never met! We even have slots for single ponies looking to randomly breed with an unknown parent! Any option is great, as long as it fits our rules.
tab When selected, we'll take ourselves to the RNG thread and roll for breeds. Some breeds are rarer than others and will show up less often in a breeding. We'll have a chart to help determine the rarities, and RNG rolls are public to ensure transparency.
tab Baskets will be dropped in-thread. You'll have a general image with all of them together and an unique titles associated to your breeding, and under it you'll see links to their uncerts. Once we drop them you will take them to the Breeding Claim thread, where you'll indicate who gets what basket for us to see.
tab Baskets are enchanted by unicorns serving the four palaces. They are weather resistant and shockingly durable. They're also entirely free and readily accessible to all who have children, so they're incredibly common in the world of Everchange. Every breeding that takes place within our shop will have baskets attached. It is up to you how the parents received them. Often, the Alicorn of Fertility will even drop baskets for parents to ensure the children are safe no matter the situation.
tab Baskets will be colored similar to how the child is and have a charm on the handle which indicates breed. This helps you know what breed to expect from your child! Morph indicators are up to the colorist in question.
tab All markings and colors will be taken directly from the parents, as well as their breeds and morphs. We do not mix colors, nor do we generate random markings. Everything has to do with what the parents have, although markings can mix together (for example, a parent with stripes can make stripes with dots on them if the other parent has dots, but you won't randomly see triangles on the kids). Throwbacks from previous generations of the parents can also be used! You may link four family members biologically related to the family to also donate genes/markings to the breeding. If your character is a generation one character they will not have throwbacks, even if they have siblings. The shop only uses officially bred-into-the-family characters.
tab Morphs can alter during breedings a tad! Some will lessen in effect or combine with the other parents morph. Only morphs that can exist on the same breed will combine. Otherwise, parents with morphs that can't combine will make children that are one or the other.
tab The only exception are mutated breedings, but those will be opened during events and sporadically. These breedings allow morphs to merge even if they normally can't, and even allows for them to mutate. Children from these breedings can rarely pass their edits on.
tab To ensure an extra child for certain types of breedings you may add a finished RP to the form. Only certain breedings allow for these opportunities. These RPs do not need to include all parents; all they need to include is at least one of them. The person posting the RP must have typed 500 words in said RP, as well.

tab There's a few things after you win a breeding that most likely won't change, as well as some terms you should look out for so you know exactly the prize you'll be receiving. If you enter for a breeding and didn't double-check what you were entering for, it's not up to us to fix the mistake.
Rogue: A breeding where one shop canon character is put up to breed with a character not made/owned. All children will resemble a mysterious, unknown parent in some way. Mixer: All characters entered will be placed in a pool to RNG or selectively CC to another character. You won't know who your character will breed with until the end of the event. Regular: Characters are entered with other characters without a chance of the parents being randomly bred with another rogue or mixer character. RLC: A breeding purchased via real life currency. They can have all stages dropped at once. Mutated: A few times a year (especially October) we will release breedings that can result in some spooky and frankly unlikely children. Morphs that can't normally mix will be able to for that short period of time and children can have strange markings and edits. Pet: A breeding between pets! Ponies cannot breed with pets.
tab Out of character, basket stage lasts a week and foal stage lasts two weeks. Adults are forever unless you fulfill the requirements to awaken. Alicorn/awakened babies will skip the adult stage and go straight to the larger base.
tab Pet breedings only have one stage; adults. They will drop as an adult!
tab RLC breedings are the only type of breeding that will allow for all stages to be dropped at once.
tab Generally, every type of breeding has a minimum amount of kids and any extras are RNGed. For easy access, the guide to the amount of kids will be here and in the RNG channel. If you need help with terms there's a section for terms below. Pony x Rogue: 1-2 RNG chance. If RP is added +1 child to whatever is rolled. Pony x Pony: 2-3 RNG chance. If RP is added +1 child to whatever is rolled. Pony x Pony x Pony: 3-4 RNG chance. If RP is added +1 child to whatever is rolled. Mixer Breedings: Minimum of kids matching owners involved (up to 3). Alicorn/Awakened x Alicorn/Awakened Breedings: Minimum of kids matching owners involved (up to 3). If RP is added, +1 child. Pet x Pet: Minimum of kids matching owners involved, with a chance for a +1 through RNG.
tab These numbers are the same for Alicorn/Awakened x Normal breedings, but the determination of breeds will be RNGed.
tab Colorists will RNG breeds and number of kids on our generator! We will screenshot the results we get and drop them in the RNG channel as proof of our rolls. Pet breedings will be RNGed on the discord without our generator.
tab Every owner involved in the breeding can claim up to 1 baskets per breeding normally. If a Custom-In Voucher is presented, it adds a basket that the user may claim and even indicate specific traits the parents have that they'd like to see on the basket (or they can leave the design up to the colorist). This means Custom-In Vouchers allow the user to claim [2] baskets.
A breeding can only have 2 vouchers used at a time.
tab Your breeding will grow despite if they're certed or not, but all must have homes and names upon certing. They are to be posted together in one post, which can be posted by any owner involved in the breeding. This is to ensure breedings find homes. If another owner is being difficult with the naming process you may PM the mule to discuss options.
