Tsallin Post 1

Tsa looked over the kingdom his group had built together over time, they were a seamlessly working machine, so many hearts and minds devoted to the development of the land before them and its stewardship in turn.

He took a deep breath and was greeted by the sweet and salty scents drifting in the air, it carried floral hints and spices from the market not too far away. It was beautiful, but it was not complete, not yet. He still needed something, something he intended to claim as was his right, it would not be easy, he knew. Taming wild things never was.

He slithered over to the sleeping tents.

Ruulu Post 1

Ruulu woke with a start to see blazing green eyes meet hers through the open tent flap. The hunt was on, today was the day. She leaped up and grabbing her gear set off at a run, calling to her kinfa who glided down to her inquisitively. Ruulu leaped astride her as her pursuer gained his own mount. She screached out a challenge to him as was her way. He might not be the only one out there but likely it was he who would catch her, and once he did there would be no going back, their families did not work that way.

She urged Salukis higher and set her into a long glide that would save energy and cover a lot of ground.

She glanced under her arm to check Tsallin's progress.

Tsallin Post 2

He knew she would understand! Thats what made it really thrilling, a lesser female would lay back and just ruin the game, but not Ruulu, Ruulu would make him sweat and plot and work for it. It was no more than he expected from an A class woman like her.

He urged Onlias to follow her, he reveled in the size of the kinfa now that they were full grown. He could taste the sky and he reveled in it. This was were he was meant to be, hanging off a creature who could break him chasing a woman who would no doubt try. This was living.

He dug his fingers into the feathers and whooped with glee, unable to wipe the grin off his face.

Ruulu Post 2

Ruulu led her quarry up into the mountain ranges that she and Salukis knew better, it was also colder up here, she was better adapted in some ways with her blue skin than Tsallin was. She was never happier for the iceling blood in her veins where the alk blood gave her the strength to try and out maneuver him. It was the leaf blood from her mother however that let her blaze as brightly as he did.

Ruulu span with Salukis in an arial display of mastery and power. She knew it would tantalize and torture him which was the whole point. He would need all the fire to catch her.

Tsallin Post 3

She was taking him to her own comfort zone, how smart of her. He really did like smart somewhat viscious woman and he supposed that was exactly what he had found in his best friend. They were a match made in heaven and if it took him a week he would have her all to himself one way or another. The one thing he could not do was harm Salukis, but he could do his best to tire her out. If he could wear out the kinfa then the woman would have to run on her own steam where his muscles would get the better of her. But on that kinfa he was afraid that the two were unstoppable especially here in the mountains.

He moved Onlias to skim the mountainside staying lower than her to help give him mount more oxygen for a long chase.

Ruulu Post 3

She had known it would come to this eventually, she had thought it was likely from the beginning but as they grew closer and older day by day, she had lost interest in other males, he had just become so fascinating to her once he stepped into his own. Becoming a confident young man with ambition to be the best while all others fell by the wayside. He was a stunning example of what one could do with enough energy pointed in the right direction. Tsallin was a risk taker but he calculated those risks before jumping into them.

Perhaps the most dangerous one he had ever taken was in play right now in his pursual of her. He also stood to gain the most here if he won.

She guided Salukis among the upper peaks using the sun to hide her position while she knew he lurked below.

Tsallin Post 4

Tsa knew he had to give himself an edge somehow, and that edge turned out to be a cave he found in the mountain. He landed Onlias in the mouth, scouted to make sure there were no other critters up here, and settled in to wait.

He knew that one of her biggest weaknesses was her insatiable curiosity. So he would let her burn some energy and hopefully she would fly right past the mouth so he could gain ground. Onlias was younger and still a little smaller than Salukis giving Ruulu the advantage of experience and wingspan.

Ruulu Post 4

See this was were the game got interesting, when he started to pull tricks on her. She supposed that it was only to be expected considering he was the son of a thief and a treasure hunter, his genetics made him ideally suited to pursuing things that were trying to avoid him.

She on the other hand had the genetics for direct no nonsense combat. Both of her parents were dual sword weilders edging their way towards assassins.

She tilted her kinfa lower, knowing that he was hiding somewhere but she needed to hold onto energy where she could. Once she lost the help of her kinfa she lost an edge.

She stroked the dark blue feathers and pointed her kinfa back to the rainforest.

It was time to try a different tact.

Tsa Post 5

A shadow passed over the mouth of the cave. He had her! He leaped onto Onlias and the pair took to the air, hot on Ruulu's tail. She wouldn't be hiding in the jungle so easily. He hit the canopy just after her and then it was a test of agility where Onlias had a small edge on the bigger girl ahead of him.

Tsallin muttered encouragement every twist of the way and it really showed as they gained on the pair ahead.

Finally he saw what he was looking for, Ruulu was not on her Kinfa, she had bailed into the forest.

It was his game now. He had to track her. But she wasn't as stealthy as the one called Sezarra in the bush. There was something very slinky about shifters and none that he had seen as talented as Seze.

Ruulu would make signs and he would follow them.

Ruulu Post 5

Here was the real race, she had to outsmart him on her feet. She was curvier than he was, something she must have inherited from one of her grandmothers on Dad's side because it definitely didn't come from Iroia.

Her mother could have outrun Tsallin easily. Ruulu's talents lay elsewhere.

She melted into the foliage. Finding knolls to pause in to pant before creeping onward. She had watched the shifter woman that her brother was so enamored with. She had learned.

She had also followed Arron as best as she could, he was quite the woodsman if she did say so.

She heard a twig snap nearby and froze, not daring to breath.

Tsa Post 6

Tsallin used every sense he had to try and detect her. He had to give her props he couldn't pinpoint where she was in the tropical rain forest. She had been holding significant skills out on him.

This made him grin. What else had she been hiding? Perhaps today he would find out.

There was not a sound in the forest and it took him some time to figure out why. He must be close to her. The world was holding its breath for this moment.

No matter how he tried though he couldn't pick up on her trail. Where had she gone?

He thumped to the ground, landing on his feet and crouching into the fall. He stood using his leg muscles alone and walked through the dense foliage.

Ruulu Post 6

He had dropped to the ground moments before he would have found her on his original track. She took a deep breath. Maybe he wasn't worthy of her after all. Maybe she would be the winner in this love game...maybe she would have to find a different man. Pity, she did really like him but she wanted to do her family proud and find the right man.

She stood from her hiding place and traveling through the trees paid attention to the ground as she ghosted away from him.

Tsa Post 7

He knew he was in trouble he had to find her soon. The only thing that gave him any clue was the sutle change in dappling on the ground. Ahah! She was up top still, he moved as close to where he thought she would be before climbing up and hiding on the path before her.

He held his breath and waited. When she moved past him, he reached out and gently enfolded her into his arms.

She was his at last he had caught her. He locked his arms around her and nuzzled her neck.

"Hello precious, thought you had me did you?" He pressed her body to his and basked in her closeness. He loved her so much. "Your mine." He span her around and kissed her firmly on the lips giving her no doubt.

Ruulu Post 7

HOW HAD HE DONE IT??

He had just melted out of the forest when she thought he was still below her. She shook her head. "You really are amazing you know that?" She loved to watch him smile, it broke over his face like sunshine through clouds. He was normally so serious and quiet but something had happened when he had grown up he was more self confidant his own person now and a person she found incredibly sexy.

He had proved himself today and she didn't struggle in his hold, shed save that sass for later. Instead she turned in his arms and returned his kiss in kind. The fluted song of their kinfa echoing not far away.

"I love you Tsallin. I have for a long time, you have shown that you are worthy of that love."

Tsa Post 8

Tsa smiled the true smile she loved so much and he knew he was gorgeous. How could he not be considering who his parents were.

Tsa wrapped his arms around her and dipped her, starting to dance in the tree tops. It was up there that their tango started and ended in the hot jungle air.

Later they came down to the ground with armfuls of fruit to share in a ground floor picnic.

They took their time not wanting to return to camp too fast. Neither wanted the moment to end.
