Nur was having a pretty swell day after kicking that arrogant Siri's behind. She had showed him how a real lion fought, not some cub playing pretend. He had potential, though, and that was what was on her mind as she paced the barren land in front of the small watering hole, the dirt trampled flat by hundreds of paws coming to and from the water, plant life not standing a chance at survival. She had the mind of a fighter having been born into the Jahy and from day one she had learned all sorts of tactics when fighting different types of opponents. Although it was clear Siri was self-taught and his style was rough at best, there was true talent there that simply being a Vessel wouldn't satisfy.

Humming to herself, Nur paused to drink from the warm, murky pool of water. Perhaps she could offer him a few pointers here and there. It would be nice to have someone who knew her way of thinking around here, to have a battle buddy when things got rough. Sure, he wasn't a normal battling rank but everyone here had to hold their own in a scrap. After their initial bout she was sure he had a little scar or two to show for his effort at the very least.

Mind made up, she licked her muzzle and moved away from the water, determined to find Siri to offer him lessons. He could refuse, but that would be foolish. His pride might be hurt in accepting but he'd definitely earn some respect from her at the very least.
