It seemed that there was never any real peace for Tendaj, there was constant competition one way or another between individuals and tribes in general. And yet he was living proof that everyone could get along if only they tried. Granted there were people out there that he would rather not live peacably with either.

He supposed he was rather like his father, thinking so hard about everything. His Mother would have just gone out and fought whatever was bothering her. He wondered how Seze's parents would handle a problem like that, together he expected.

His face had done that stone imitation thing that it often did when he was really deep in thought.

He was cute like that, she would admit it, however she disliked it when he was silent like that. Of course, she herself was never quiet.

“Arron your brain is going to catch fire if you keep that up. You know how unfortunate that would be?” She smirked at him. She knew he loved this look on her face.

She waggled her eyebrows at him and kicked Valdor into a lope, a blatant challenge of “Catch me!”

Well this was an opportunity he just couldn't pass up. “Let's see how much you got in you youngun.” Arron sped after his mate. Then of course it was a race because Valdor would not be outdone.

Arron waited patiently until the terrain smoothed out to a point where he could do what he wanted. He balanced handily on Xarthin's back and lept across to Valdor, catching Seze around the waist.

Laughing she slowed Valdor down. He had just proven to her in no uncertain terms that he was worthy in so many ways of being her mate and the Father of her children, he might not always show it but he had the edge she needed in a man.

“Well done, now you may take your prize and you will have to catch the other Janarim. “She chuckled, leaning back into him. He was the most wonderful person, she was happy that like her parents she had gotten a man perfect for her.

Arron caught Xarthin's reins as he turned Valdor. It was a sign of Seze's ove and his own copetancy that Valdor had not turned on him. The Hanarim trained for battle as he was, demanded the utmost respect as he was worth four regular soldiers from Arron's perspective.

Having the janarim around gave Arron such peace, he knew that Seze would be safe no matter what, between her own skills and the ferocity of the beast underneath him.
