There was a sharp pain with every step he took. The oozing had since stopped, but his limp had gotten progressively worse over the next few days. However, they were close to the Mwezi borders. He was curious is he could meet that lovely lady he shared a nice evening with his first time around, but the throb in his leg was pretty off putting.
He needed to get it looked at, and fast.
Ciro sighed, glancing towards Lucifer. Brat had been quiet during the travels. It was a bit unnerving really. "So you just not gonna say anything anymore?" The Captain asked with an eye roll, spotting some familiar terrain. Ah, Mwezi territory was near!

Sanaa could never quite grasp falling asleep during the day, and being active at night. Taaka was able to, but not the lady. She shook her head, walking through the lands. It had been a few months since her return from the Tianxia lands, and already she found herself wanting to travel again. Perhaps another trip to the lands was in order? One of the young cubs were wanting to go back there to see the place he was born. Maybe she could take him when he got older?
Sanaa considered this. The Mwezi and Tianxia needed to mingle with each other? so why not have more small trips in between?
It would be something she'd want to ask the queen in the future. For now, the purple lioness wandered, not quite spotting the pair of stormborn nearby.

"If we come across another damn snake, I'm aiming it right at you next time." Ciro growled. Lucifer was lucky. If Ciro was at better balance, he would be swiping at the red head's face.
No s**t. The captain grunted, keeping his words to himself. "I know." He told the male. "We are close to the Mwezi lands, so maybe someone will be able to help." If not, his last resort would be Ngaule. He did not want to try calling her with his brother nearby.
"Keep your eyes out, I learned guards like to patrol the border, but sometimes you get lucky with others you might meet." Other beauties, willing to sing you a song and share a den for the evening.

A strange scent entered her nostrils. Sanaa's ears flickered trying to pinpoint the location. Maybe it wasn't in her best opinion to come out to the borders without a guard escort.
Surely whoever approached wasn't foe? She was once a rogue, she knew the art of defense. Yet, she found her heart beginning to beat quickly. Her head tilted, following her nose until the bearers of the scent finally came to sight. Oh dear, what did we have here? |

"If you didn't fall flat on your face first."
Hah, the thought of his brother face planting in the dirt was an amusing one, it was almost disappointing that Ciro had not done so. Heh, there was still time, Ciro was looking more and more like he might fall over at any moment. On second thought, don't do that, he didn't need his brother dying on him.
His eyes narrowed, a flick of his ears. Guards? Great, that was just what they needed, hopefully they were friendly guards. His tail twitched, his gazed catching something in the distance, or was it someone? Whoever it was, they were moving toward tem.
"Ciro, there."
He indicated toward the figure, maybe it was someone who could help? Hopefully it wasn't one of those guards.

Oh, how he wished his leg wasn't pulsating right now. He'd jump on Lucifer so fast.
You're lucky bro. He thought to himself, shaking his head, ears perking forward at his comment. "Hmm" His golden eyes stared forward, seeing the flash of purple move towards them. Ah, not the lioness he was looking for, but she sure was a pretty one.
As Sanaa approached, she frowned. "What are you two boys doing out here? Do you know what lands you are approaching?"
"Let me," Ciro said to Lucifer, taking a step, the limp noticeable towards the other.
"Indeed. This land is the Mwezi'johari. I have met a lovely lady here one evening who showed me around." He didn't remember the name at the top of his head. "She sang lovely songs all evening."
"You're the male Kiumba sings about?" She rolled her eyes. "You appear different than what she portrays in song." The limp did not go unnoticed. "She mentioned nothing about the limp." |

Hah, good luck with that bro. He wasn't the one who got bitten by some stupid snake, so there! Snakes, shudder, nope, no thank you, if he ever saw a snake again it would be too soon. Or bats....Lucifer did not like bats!
"I don't suppose you know anything about healing?"
Lucifer had eye-rolled at his brother, considering very hard pushing him aside as he stepped forward to ask his question. No time for flirting or whatever the hell it was you were planning on doing, Ciro, just get to the point before your ******** leg falls off!
"My brother got himself bitten by a snake."

His eyes narrowed, a flick of his tail as he watched the lioness leave. Great, how long were they supposed to just wait here? Fine, whatever, it wasn't like they had anything better to do right now.
"Maybe if you didn't try to jump every female you meet."
Not all girls are into whores, bro, get over it.
"What? I guess she's pretty."
A shrug, he shot a glance at his brother, as if he'd been thinking about that right now. There were other things that were more important at that moment! She was not his type anyway, not that he really had a type. A shake of his head, Lucifer settled on his haunches, may as well get comfortable while they waited.
