There were very few things that didn't worry Drexl. Going out one day to search for a few Sitara's was never one of them. There were known locations of the glowing beings, most of which were know to him thanks in great part to Jerami. The other's idea of him having a Sitara has stuck with Drexl for a bit now. He hummed as he and Miqwe made their way through the underbrush. The large Limbara by now was well adjusted to the terrain of the forest floor of Jauhar. Drexl chuckled as he watched Miqwe's eye twitch when he stepped into a puddle. "You are not a fan of water, are you?"

The flat look he got was proof enough that the beast disliked the thought. Drexl shook his head as he looked up to the canopy. "Don't fret, so long as we go through water that doesn't go above your nose we should be good."

He glanced to the beast again, that being a major concern. Drexl was going to have to figure out a way to cross water without risking his tiny beast. That was a fearful thought for another time as he blinked at a set of three Sitaras eating what looked to be the last of the fruit on the tree. "Oh...Miqwe...shake that tree please..."

The hulking Limbara charged the tree. Shaking it with the force of the charge, Drexl blinked as two of the Sitaras honestly impressed him. Not only did they use Miqwe's back as some sort of balance board when they fell. They used it to spring back into another tree. The third one sadly, missed Miqwe's back and smacked his snout. Drexl rushed up to examine the poor beast. "Sorry about that, didn't want you to overeat."

He looked around for the other two. "Guess the flight instinct kicked in..."

He slowly turned his head back in time to see the Sitara waking up. There was a long moment of a shared stare before Drexl felt a tail smack his face as the beast ran for it. He rubbed his face as he watched it take off. Giving Miqwe a side glance as the Limbara seemed to start snickering. He huffed. "Alright then...you get it..."

Miqwe turned his head to watch the Sitara skitter away. The Limbara wasn't as fast as the smaller creature but he was going to try. Drexl stood up as he watched Miqwe start to trot after the Sitara. Mentally telling himself he shouldn't expect to get anywhere swiftly unless Miqwe developed the legs for it...

It was a few moments later, mostly Drexl making sure Miqwe was well within sight of him. He did notice that they were coming to a area with more puddles than solid forest floor. Which he took note that Miqwe came to a stop beside a tree. Drexl walked up next to him to see the Sitara, seemingly panting in said tree. The lanky male looked up before climbing the tree. He sat on the thicker half of the branch as he looked at the Sitara. "Look...I know this seems like I'm being a bully..but here's the deal. You see that big guy down there...he doesn't have a friend. I'm out here trying to get him a friend and maybe get a friend for my Princess' Sitara. I'm sorry..."

The Sitara blinked at him. Drexl shrugged, then let out a yelp as he felt a fruit smack his hip. He looked around quickly and spotted the other two Sitaras that leaped away earlier. He blinked before deciding that right now was not a good time to get into a fight with a beast that seemed weaker. As he turned to bail out of the tree he heard the Sitara in front of him squeak. He looked to it as it fell from the tree. Quickly landing he nearly lost his breath as he saw Miqwe quickly catch it using a large fern leaf. The Limbara had grabbed one side of it and stretched it out to cushion the tinier beasts fall.

"Good job, Miqwe! Let us get out of here!!!" he said as he looked up to see the other two Sitaras seemingly grabbing more fruit. He quickly set the Sitara that seemed stunned down before bolting with Miqwe ahead of him. Once they were far enough away he settled down with a long sigh. Miqwe nudged his leg. "I know...we had it...but, its friends would of kept coming after us...rather than hurt them needlessly I would rather let them recover before we go at this a nicer way."

As he spoke, Miqwe settled to lay next to him. Drexl chuckled as he stroked the beast. "Not everything is about hurting the other side, Miqwe. Sometimes just backing off and talking works better."

Drexl blinked himself awake as he found that he had dozed off while under a nice shady tree. He glanced to Miqwe who was allowing him to use his side as a pillow as he slept. He looked around as he noticed that they were utterly alone. He was sort of hoping that the Sitara they...helped? Picked on? Really what was he expecting. He picked on the tiny beast and expected it to actually want to be his friend. He chuckled to himself as he stood up, brushing his pants off of dirt. He blinked as he saw a small pile of fruit left there.

He walked to the pile with a small smile. That was nice of it. After everything he put it through, he expected the fruit to be rotted. Though after examining it all. He found it to be safe for eating. Huh, that was pretty nice of it. He picked up a few pieces as Miqwe shuffled up next to him. "You wanna take some of this to Jerami?"

Miqwe snorted as Drexl put a few pieces into his side bag, the lanky male then picked up a few more to offer to the Limbara. Miqwe nibbled at the pieces before allowing Drexl to give him the rest.

Drexl was yet again back out in the forest. Trying his hardest to find a Sitara that was willing to come back home with him. As Drexl went through the forest, Miqwe was starting to complain in little whimpers and such. After about 20 minutes of all that, Drexl stopped to look back to his tiny beast. "What? Are you upset with the puddles again? There's a river nearby..."

Miqwe snapped his jaws at the lanky male, Drexl blinked at the motion. He crossed his arms, just staring at his tiny beast. Miqwe lumbered to a stop at the stare. There was a long moment before Miqwe's head lowered a little. Drexl smirked before he walked over to stroke the other. "Look...if we don't find any that's fine...we'll go home and get your feet clean okay?"

Miqwe seemed to brighten up at those words. Drexl chuckling as he started to walk back towards the trees he last saw the Sitaras at. This place really was something else when it was bright like this. Though, he could see the Sitara tracks he had a sinking feeling all the same. It took them a few more minutes of searching before Drexl sighed. "I don't think their here, Miqwe. Maybe we should try again another time..."

He turned to his tiny beast, Miqwe already turned around and walking back towards the path home. Drexl chuckled. Following up after his tiny beast as he looked around. There really was no Sitara around...that was disappointing. Oh well, there was always next time.

Drexl lounged under the shady tree that he and Miqwe had unofficially claimed at theirs. At least for now. The tree was located deep enough in the forest that the local beasts were more at ease with lingering around a stray earthling. Drexl had seen many different beasts here...none of those blasted spiders. They were deeper in from what he remembered. The river he heard in the distance was, to his delight, the same river he and his friends found all those years ago as younglings. He smiled as he looked up to the canopy. Glancing to Miqwe as his tiny beast made a noise. "Hm--" he cut himself off as he looked to where Miqwe seemed to be staring.

There...he saw the same Sitara that they saw their first venture out. He blinked as he shifted just ever so slightly to watch the tiny beast. The Sitara in question, seemed to have seen them and was watching them just as long as Drexl was watching it. There was a few moments of sheer silence before Drexl reached slowly into the bag next to him. He pulled out a small piece of fruit. He tossed it out towards the Sitara before leaning back against Miqwe.

"Go ahead...we got more if you were hungry." he said gently towards the Sitara. The beast in question crept out to snag the piece before darting back into the roots of the tree it was lurking under. Drexl blinked. Yeah he didn't expect it to be overly friendly. "I'm just going to sit here if you're okay with that..."

Drexl smiled as the Sitara took the fruit that was laid out for it. After a few moments more, the lanky male didn't make a move towards it. Miqwe on the other hand seemed to stretch his neck out a little more to sniff in the Sitara's general direction. Drexl chuckled as the Sitara returned the curious gesture. The two tiny beasts seemed to have fallen into a unspoken agreement that Drexl wasn't yet privy to. That was fine, he yawned as he stretched out.

The Sitara spent the next several minutes munching away while getting steadily closer. Drexl watching it every so often. It was interesting to watch that was for sure. Were all tiny things this skittish? Well, yes they were...he remembered his childhood. He was a tiny thing once, he was that skittish. He thought about it. To this day in certain situations, he was still that skittish. He tilted his head as he watched the Sitara meander on its way. He glanced to Miqwe. "Maybe next time we'll be able to take them home?"

Miqwe gave him a huff of agreement. Drexl chuckling as he stood up to get them ready to go back home... until next time.
