[PRP] Cub Investigations (Ridorana & Sumayah)

A tiny blue nose sniffed curiously down the little hole. Ridorana was perched atop one of the smaller anthills at the moment, ears tilted forward in an attempt to hear whatever could be inside of it. Sure, she knew they were called "anthills" but did ants really live in them? It seemed like a weird place to live... then again, the Outlanders lived in tunnels too. Maybe that's just what everyone did. That seemed like a boring life. Outside was so much prettier, in her opinion, and had much more fresh air to breathe.

She still wanted to see what was inside though. Did they all just clump together in there? They'd probably make a weird squishing noise if she stepped on them like that.

Tentatively, she reached a paw down and started scratching at the opening. Only one way to really check for herself, after all.

Ri let out a squeal, jolting up into the air before plopping back down on top of what she'd been looking at. She hadn't been expecting someone - her sister, judging by the white coat - to pounce on her like that.

And then she drew herself up onto her front paws, looking down at the anthill to check if it was alright. She sighed in relief to see that it wasn't too damaged. Wow, these ants made dirt strong.

"Su-Sumayaaaah," she drew out the end of her name with a loud whine, "Why'd you do that?" The cub turned her head around and nipped at her sister's ear.

Ridorana gave a huff at her words, rolling herself off of the anthill and then jumping back to her feet, hopping closer to it again. Her ears flicked up at her sister's question, attention drawn back to it curiously, "I wanted to see inside of it. Do they just like... all bunch up inside of it?"

She cocked her head to the side, "Probably pretty strong, since I landed on it," she shot an accusing look at Sumayah, and then glanced back down again, "unless they got squished under it." Her eyes lit up in wonder. Could that happen, even though the ground didn't move?
