The Myrsyky Syntynyt has flourished over the last months (let alone years) the pridal lands have gifted them with food, water, and shelter. Fortunately the lands haven't failed them yet, but the numbers - in thousands now - haven't been faced with the wrath of a God. The days have grown dark in the prosperous lands and yet the sun still shines upon them through the thick clouds. Groans of pain and discomfort can be heard throughout the pride.

Are you hungry..?

Had two little prophets gotten to the Warlord a day or so sooner the changes would have been seen. The invisible torture could have been prevented and the current circumstances could have been changed. 'Could of' didn't happen and so from her den Warlord Zjarri can now hear the groans of bellies playing at being empty, even when full. The shouts of anguish as cubs are lost to mothers weakened by this state of constant Famine.

Yes, starving...

The prides time of fortune has come to a halt under the distress of what has begun to happen. Though the lands continue to feed them and waters continue to flow.. they are wasting away. All members are feeling this at varying degrees, some are unable to move due to the weakness they feel, while others are capable enough to help those suffering. Or are strong enough to leave the pride and discover something odd.

The pain and suffering ends at the borders.

OOCly: Breeding Thread Update

The prides breedings will become a limited experience for the time being. Due to the prides current situation in regards to feeling the pang of hunger the decision has been made to cease females going through pregnancy with the possibility of losing their cubs or producing weak members. The decision will be made ICly and an RP link will be supplied for those interested in following along with the concept.

But Greenie.. you only specified females? Yes. That is very true and for good reason. When members go a-viking they eventually return. Males may leave and do as they please since those cubs will be left with healthy, strong mothers outside of the pride and thus left unaffected by the current situation - in essence they will birth healthy cubs. Since the prides females will eventually return to the pride it's simply not worth the risk.

As a result of one lions devious plan to slaughter his own Captain the pride will now suffer. At the paws of Kuaminiwa'moshi a lioness fell, not the one he had aimed for, but nonetheless a murder took place before the eyes of Jaddis the God of Famine. His opinions were not objective, he didn't care for the why's and nor did he feel they would have helped justify the needless killing.

In his own words to Kuaminiwa'moshi, the murderer, and the surrounding members of the band... "You, YOU will starve and your pride will hunger." Some of the members hadn't seen a god before this moment. They knew they prayed and sacrificed too some gods, Warriors for example, but never had they suspected such wrath. Just the image of Jaddis alone was enough to startle, but his tone wouldn't soon be forgotten in a speech that might likely outlive most in the prides history.

Hunger for Murder ; Sabia'deimos was bored of sitting at home and feeling the effects of what becoming a grandmother was like. Not once, not twice, but thrice over it would seem. She had only just come to know of the third and final litter prior to her taking a quick leave. What was supposed to be a simple outing has effectively changed the pride as they know it. Sakari rushed to the Warlord with the news as soon as she realized that no one would listen to her.. for Zjarri's part she figured the adolescent might be over reacting, but she doesn't take long to realize how much she may have underestimated the youth. With everything going on and restrictions being put in place it was decided to include this pretty little group of prizes that come with a.. surprise. That surprise will show itself closer to the date of drawing. These SoA will be gifted in a staggered raffle style.
