As Spring rolls into Summer in Tendaji it appears that something is not as it should be. In fact, strange and unpredictable weather is happening all across the world. Strong storms, bizarre heat waves, unheard of snow storms, floods, and other similar events are happening in all of the countries. Some are superstitious, seeing it as a warning of great evil, others blame the Dretch, some shrug it off as a freaky incident, and others ignore that it's even such an oddity.

However, one thing is certain - all the lands are dealing with these weird weather outbreaks in their own way. How are you handling matters? Do you try to help others, are you too focused on yourself, or do you want to try and find answers for the causes behind these recent events? Or did you get caught out in the disaster yourself and these are your memories of how you had to fight against the odds to get to safety?

Basically this is a solo (or a rp with a friend) to write out how your character is being affected by these strange occurrences in Tendaji.

Chibale and Matori are both suffering from snow - something that has rarely hit these warmer countries before! A blizzard especially is unheard of.

Jahaur and Yael are experiencing drought. Rain hasn't fallen for the last couple of weeks...

Tale, Sauti, and Oba are experiencing massive amounts of rain to the point that some of the desert is flooding.

Zena is having the strangest heat wave and some areas once covered year-round with snow and ice are even starting to melt...

Belrea is shaken. Literally. A huge earthquake has ripped through the continent scaring many and even now faint rumbles from its impact shift at random beneath your feet.

"You're having a lot of fun, aren't you my little water kitty?" Shura said, unable to help but to laugh as she watched the way in which Anhalo was running around in the rain that had been falling for some time now. There were big puddles everywhere and the beast was just overly excited over the prospect of getting to play in water that wasn't just his pool. From time to time he also just stopped his running around so that he could lift up onto his back feet, head tilted back, drinking the rain as it fell. It was the most adorable thing that she'd ever seen him do and it had her squealing in delight.

Clapping her hands together she said, "Why is nobody around to see this?" Her parents were busy with their work, her brother was working on something in his forge, and the twins were asleep. As such it was just her standing here watching as Anhalo went about enjoying the rain with her being the only one who got to work. Giving a happy sound in her throat she stepped out from under the overhang that she'd been hiding out under, into the rain herself and went hopping through some of the puddles, following suit with her water kitty.

She knew that once she was done playing in the rain that she was going to need a warm bath, dry clothing, and a blanket to hide under since the shower had been too cold for her liking. It really was strange that a place like Oba would be cold but it was all due to the rain that was falling so hard and so constantly recently. It was as though the God of Storms had torn open the sky and let the rain fall in a manner that was quite merciless. It was annoying in many ways but for the moment she was enjoying it, if only because Anhalo was. There was just something about the adorable zanteer that was enough to cause her mood to rise.

"I really wish that Dovian wasn't busy and could come out to play with us." She said to Anahlo. She was sure that her brother would likely just tease Anhalo though, calling him a 'fat kitty' instead of an adorable water kitty or an adorable zanteer which was closer to the truth. Sure he was a bit pudgy due to their mother's desire to give him a bunch of snacks but that didn't mean that he was fat. Fat was a lot bigger then pudgy was if you asked Shura, maybe because she was trying to protect Anhalo's reputation. Not that the beast seemed to really care all that much. Animals it seemed weren't really bothered by the teasing of humans, it was why she felt she had to defend him in his stead. That was just her job as his owner.

Hopping along some more through the puddles she found herself looking back at the inn that the house. It was kind of nice being back in Awat though she was sure that it wouldn't be for that long. They would likely be heading back to either Sulburi or even Matori soon enough but it was really nice getting to come home from time to time. It might be best that they weren't there since the last time they had gone there had been snow. Not that one could really expect snow all the time there. From what she gathered the snow they had seen was a freak event, one that hadn't happened before had the Matorian hoped wouldn't happen again. Understandable since it was a really annoy weather type, especially for those used to a more tropical climate.

She would need to ask some of those coming in from Matori if it was doing better these days. Hopefully the strange snow fall had gone back to Zena, never to return. It would make their travels there a whole lot easier if you asked Shura. After a bit more splashing around she headed back under the overhang once more, shaking off a bit, before giving a whistle, "Come on, Anhalo! Let's go inside so that I can get a bath!"

Heading toward the door the young woman opened it up, pausing long enough for Anhalo to rush over and inside, and then headed to her room first so that she could get some warm, dry clothing. Once that was all gathered along with a towel she headed into the bath with her stuff in hand. Time to warm up, dry off, and do some relaxing! At least until the twins woke up and nobody was able to relax that was.
