It made sense given that all girls had cooties that his siblings would also be infected with them but there was still an audible gasp from Kiel as his sisters were declared 'infected'. Surely he would be alright though, you couldn't get cooties from a family member, only strangers. At least as far as he knew. Regardless of being almost certain of the fact he still found himself eyeing Shu and Thea in a dubious manner.

Giving a smile Kiel nodded as Dovian both agreed with what he said about 'no boys' and then nodded even more vigorously when he said that what Kiel said goes. He liked the sound of that and it had him grinning from ear to ear from his place in his brother's arms, "Yes! What I say goes!" He agreed, liking it even more because Thea seemed to be so against it. It seemed to be enough to even make him hum a bit with happiness.

Shu gave a chuckle, "Well, if those are the rules then it seems as though none of us are going to be getting married at any point in the future." Something that she found amusing, mostly because she felt that they were probably all far too young to be thinking about such things, Thea and Kiel especially. No reason that they should think about the opposite sex in anyway other then how they carried cooties.

"You get away with quite a bit too Thea. After all you are one of Daddy's babies." Of course in the eyes of their father they were all his babies and were meant to be spoiled by the man. Now their mother on the other hand, she could be a little bit more strict at times and far more intimidating then their father was. Funny given the fact that their father had the job that should make him the more intimidating parent by far... and yet he wasn't.

Seeing that his little brother was very pleased with the idea that he was in charge Dovian chuckled a bit more. Clearly he was going to regret that later.

At Thea's accusation that Kiel simply got away with things Dovi was about to chime in but his twin beat him to it. Though he did feel the need to add on. "Thea, you and Kiel both could get away with murder. Mom and Dad would likely think it cute." He rolled his eyes slightly then pointed at Shura. "Shu practically gets away with it. She punches enough people and she hits hard." As if to stir up old memories he brought his hand to his face and rubbed just a little. Dovian never did forget the pain that his sister packed behind her punches.

Thea glared at Kiel, still not so thrilled with the fact that he was able to dictate anything. However, when Shura said something she frowned and looked up at her sister. "I'm not a baby." At that point the shell was cast to the sand and her other hand made it to her hip as well. Now with them both firmly in place she looked just like their mother.

"Says the one that stole stuff!" She bit back at her brother. Theanduri had been told tales about what her big brother had done. After all it had played a big part in how their mother learned about their father's real job. "Shura and I have to look out for you two a'cause you get in trouble." Not that Kiel had really done anything to be in trouble for. But he was the baby of the family and that was trouble enough.

Kiel seemed to think on it a moment then said, "Sounds like too much trouble." Shifting in Dovian's arms he used the height to look around for anything interesting that might be in the area. As he did so he listened to his siblings as they seemed to discuss each other, what they were good at, what they could and could get away with, and Dovian's past with stealing things.

Looking back to Dovian he gave him a pat on the cheek, as though to soothe him over Thea's words, then went back to scanning the area. He didn't see the 'monster' anywhere, which was a tad bit disappointing. Another time, perhaps?

Leaning into his brother he just relaxed, listening to his heartbeat and the voice of those around him.

Shura gave a little sigh, resting a hand on her hip, before she said, "Now, now Thea. No reason to bring that up. Dovi made a mistake when he was young and stupid. He's been a very well behaved brother since then." Alright, 'young and stupid' made it seemed like a long time ago but it was long enough ago that she felt they shouldn't throw it in his face.

"Hmm, speaking of looking after them... I think that our brothers need naps. How about we go back to the house so we can see about tucking them in?" Really she felt that it was Thea and Kiel that could use them since they were little, but it would be easier to get the little ones, Thea especially, to nap if she acted like it was Dovian and Kiel that needed said naps. Hopefully Dovian would catch on as well, especially since Kiel was currently curling up against him.

Dovian noticed the shift in his little brother and moved so that Kiel could lean back a bit more easily. When he heard Thea's jab at his mistake he gave a small wince but it was more at discovering that their sweet mother was actually kinda scary. When Shura came to his defense, albeit weakly, he simply looked away. There was no reason for him to get into that subject.

Too many old and scary memories there.

As mention of naps was made he put on a show of a large yawn. It wasn't hard, he did feel a little tired and yawns were contagious. Dovian turned to look at Shura with a dull stare before saying, "Hmn? What?" As if he was too tired to hear what it was she had said about him.

Thea puffed up her cheeks before settling down and crossing her arms firmly over her chest. Since she was still young she was easily goaded into arguments and excitement. With her big sister saying that their brothers needed to be tucked in she took the time to really look at Kiel. He did look like he was ready to go to sleep. A nice fluffy bed would do him good. Then she noticed Dovi yawn and seem to be too out of it to notice that he was grumpy.

So she nodded her head in agreement with Shrua. "Yeah, looks like they need rest." There would be no monsters for Kiel today and no girls for either of her brothers. Though it was a shame that her sister didn't get to beat anyone up. It was always fun when she did.

"Hey Shura, did mommy clean my blanket? Kiel likes it so it might help him sleep." The thing was a soft but faded piece of material that had once looked like a blanket but was worn so much from use. Thea refused to let it go though. Not only did she love the color but it was still comfy.

Lifting his hands up Kiel patted his brother's cheeks in a gentle manner when Dovian set to acting as though he was sleepy too. It seemed as though Dovian was as sleepy as he was feeling after all of the adventure. Letting his head rest against his brother once more he said, "I'm ready for a nap... we can catch monsters later..." He gave a big yawn as he spoke before letting his eyes sink closed, looking quite close to see now.

It was obvious just looking at him that he wasn't likely to make it back home in a conscious manner.

Shura looked over at her brothers, then over to Thea, and said, "Yeah, we will tuck them in and then see about getting some rest ourselves. We want to be rested up so that we can take care of them again once they wake up." Best to explain it in such a way that would make a nap sound appealing to her little sister as well. As the oldest it was her job to wrangle them after all.

Giving a thoughtful sound at the question she said, "We will have to go back and find out. I'm pretty sure I saw it hanging out to dry so it should be ready to curl up with by now."

Dovian had to agree there. They could catch monsters later. He gave Shura a look, one that arched his brow at her a bit, then turned to head back toward the house. He didn't think he really needed to wait for her permission to start heading that way since their baby brother was likely going to be passed out before he got even half way back.

"Yeah, come on Kiel, a nap sounds good." Whether or not the girls followed was up to them. At least he knew his little brother wouldn't be out chasing anything around. Or being chased.

She watched as Dovian turned to walk back with Kiel in his arms before she looked up at Shura. At first she wanted to argue against taking a nap as well but when it was put that way she really couldn't. They wouldn't be much good at protecting their brothers if they were too tired to do so. Thea gave a thoughtful sound then nodded. "Ok, but they have to sleep first." Once she was sure both brothers were sleeping then she could relax and not feel like she needed to do something. Of course she felt more protective of Kiel than she did Dovian if only for the simple fact that he was much older than her and Kiel was younger. It gave her a bit of importance.

Thea pointed toward the house. "Need to find my blanket though."
