- As far as he was concerned, no lands were good enough for them. Either the dirt was too hard, the water too sour, the winds too fast, or the fact that he just didn't like the area, Prakriti had come to find reason after reason why he and his brother hadn't stayed in one land for too long. Still, his heart was in want of a home, and in want of staying beside the one lion he trusted to have his back, he walked. Sore paws, dry mouth, and at times an empty belly were unable to keep him from following. As they both walked and searched, his muscles adapted, and he loved realizing when he had pushed himself farther than he had previously. Even when the terrain started to pose a challenge for them, he kept up. He was even, like his brother, feeling excited about what kind of pride would call these lands their home. Excitement had caused him to rush ahead of his brother and come to stand atop a rocky outcropping. Gazing around the lands, he closed his eyes to take in the scents, the sounds, and the feel. It was exhilarating, and quite literally a breath of fresh air. When the scent of other lions hit his nose, Prakriti wrinkled it a bit. They couldn't throw caution to the wind here, and it would definitely be in their best interest to stay put until something- or someone- either chased them off or invited them in, or however these lands handled things. "Hey, there's a boundary." He stated, kneading the dirt beneath his paws in a show of slight impatience. In fact, he didn't wait at all before he bellowed out the loudest roar he could manage with his throat being as dry as it was.

Purusha was fair more level-headed that usual, considering the harsh conditions it had taken them to get this far. He was never one to complain, and if Prakriti wasn't pleased with a location, then neither was he, without complaint or contradiction. When the boundary scent came into play, he had been prepared to step forward and make his challenge, shock registering for a moment, only mentally, when his brother took the lead. He tilted his head to one side, but quickly sat on his haunches and close his eyes, listening for what was sure to be a response to the challenge. The agitation and impatience he bore, however, was even worse than his brothers', the tension showing in every line of his form as he used every restraint to hold himself back. His brother had made the challenge, and thus it would be his fight. His eyes opened wide in an instant. "Do not lose."

"Such faith, I'm flattered." Prakriti chuffed at his twin in jest. It was half an assurance that no one showed up immediately, half...Worrying.
His worry intensified when he saw the figure on the horizon. Yeah, he had to open his big mouth, didn't he? His muscles quivered, but as the lioness didn't leap, neither did he. That was a horrible idea. Clearly, she was far more experienced than he was. He should have left his brother to work their way in.
"Only me." Deciding to instead drop any pretense of violent hostility, Prakriti smiled at her, holding his head high as his tail flicked back and forth.
