Nothing happen as the Trapinch simply sat and watch it foe. The pokemon almost wanted to chuckle as the light around her would intensify. Though the pokemon made no moves to attack as she actually gave out a big yawn and settle into the dirt.
"Trapinch ...inch...trap"
(So weak, I think I will just take a nap.)
The pokemon actually closed her eyes.
"Pinch...trap."
(Let me know if you bother to attack)
"Pinch ...inch...ch."
(Maybe, I will actually feel that one.....Zzzzz)
Trapinch settles to defend herself by literally going to sleep.
(This is Trapinch's attack phase, you have the option of using a counter-attack or simply sitting this out on your defensive phase)
Brian and Amiga watched with amazement as the Trapinch actually settled into the dirt and fell asleep. It....actually fell asleep, he thought. This Trapinch is either very cocky, or it's not accustomed to fighting a trainer-owned Pokemon. Amiga wasn't amused by the Ground-type's words, and even less amused by the fact that it kept calling her weak. She didn't like the Trapinch belittling her like that, and was determined to teach it not to mess with her or her trainer. "Amiga, Tackle," Brian said, and Amiga happily obliged.
The tackle hit and literally didn't do anything. The pokémon was still sleeping and there was no damage at all for the Trapinch as the pokemon rolls over. The glow around it, would intensify even further as the pokemon would roll over one more time to be on it's feet. Her eyes open and glaring at the pokémon in front of her as she smirked.
"Trapinch, trap!"
(Now it's time to give back as good as I got ...so tremble in fear!)
The glow would condense itself into her mouth as she open it and let out ....a light show.
Brian watched as Amiga tackled the Trapinch, though the attack did nothing yet again. He was starting to become frustrated, though he didn't let it show. He didn't notice the glow surrounding the Trapinch until it was too late, and his eyes widened as he realized what it was. Bide, he thought, and called out to Amiga. "Amiga, try to get out of there!" he called, hoping the Nosepass would be able to avoid the beam of light heading her way.
There was no way for the pokémon to escape as the attack flash brightly through the tunnels. Though the main reason way there was no escape for the pokemon, was because, there was nothing to escape from.
Nothing happen, but the beautiful lights as the Trapinch actually sighed loudly.
"Trapinch ...trap...pinch."
(Yup, you get back exactly what you gave me ....which was nothing ..pathetic)
"Pinch, trapinch...pinch...trapinch"
(I don't know if even the yummy is worth this frustration, but, I guess I will give you one more free shot to see if this is even worth it)
The pokemon would declare sounding incredibly frustrated with this entire battle. It would literally sit down and wait for the Nosepass to attack.
Brian could tell by the Trapinch's actions that it was getting frustrated, and he didn't blame it. It seemed that neither side could land a clean hit. He was glad that Bide didn't do any damage to Amiga, but he was also getting annoyed at how long it was taking to battle. "Amiga, try Tackle once more," he said. He had a feeling it might actually land a hit this time, though he would have to see if his feeling was correct. Amiga, too, was getting frustrated by the lack of hits she was dealing, though she was glad that Bide had done nothing both times it had been used. Sighing softly, she nodded as Brian gave the command, and leaped forward in a Tackle.
(15 +(5 -1 )- (9 +1) + 7 - 8 = 8dmg) It would literally shock the Trapinch as she felt the pokemon collide against her with enough strength to send her tumbling head over tail backwards in the wall of the cavern. She was in shock, real shock, as she sat up and realized she was in pain and that the attack had cause her quite a bit of damage.
"TRAPPPPPPINCH!"
(What the hell!)
Though the pokemon would smile as she sat up and would shake herself all over. Her entire body ached, but it was good to ache. Ache meant she was still alive and fighting. Maybe, underestimating her opponent was bad, maybe, this pokemon knew her plan with the Bide attack. Oh well, no more biding for her. She was going all in.
"Trap..pinch...rapinch...inch."

She would declare outloud to herself as she walks seemingly in a daze before she opens her maw wide and lunges at the pokemon with a bite. She definitely wanted to see what this pokémon tasted like.
Brian and Amiga watched with slight amusement as the Trapinch was sent tumbling head over tail into the wall. About time I landed a hit, Amiga thought, smiling slightly. Brian, too, smiled, as it seemed the battle was finally turning around. His gut feeling was right, it seemed, and it appeared the Trapinch didn't like getting hit. Still, he had to admire the Trapinch's guts as it got back up and lunged toward Amiga with a Bite attack. Amiga could see that the Trapinch apparently wanted to see what she tasted like, and she wasn't about to let that happen. "Amiga, Tackle!" Brian called, hoping that he might be able to deal a bit more damage before trying to catch the Trapinch. The Nosepass leaped forward to meet the Ground-type's Bite attack with a Tackle.
(8+1 (9)- 3 + 11 - 11 = 6 x2 dmg (12dmg) The pokemon's mouth would close on her opponent as she latches on tightly. Her hard mouth would crunch into rock with enough strength to actually shatter as she drops to the ground heavily with a piece of the Nosepass in her mouth.
Crunching it up quickly, she would swallow the bit of rock before looking at Amiga with stars in her eyes.
"Trapinch, trap, trapinch"

Thanks to the counter-attack move, the pokemon had had little to no defense set up. Thus, the attack had cut through her rock hard skin harder than it should have, and the Trapinch was quite satisfied with her take.
Though she wasn't through.
No, things were looking up for her, and if it wasn't for a slight deviation ...that pokemon would have flinched and she would have another chance to tear it apart. But, for the moment, she was going to take the safe route and she looked ready to move out of the way.
No taking a hit anymore, since this pokemon had some sort of strength, she refused to let it get another free shot in again.
Brian winced as Amiga cried out in pain with the damage she'd just taken. After that attack, and the failed counter-attack, the Nosepass was barely hanging on, though she still had enough energy to do one more attack. Brian wanted to recall her, but this was his last chance to truly deal any damage to the Trapinch and try to catch it. "Amiga, I need ye to do a Tackle one more time," he said. "I know ye're tired, and as soon as we get out of here, I'll get ye to a Pokemon center." Amiga, hearing her trainer's words, nodded and jumped at the Trapinch in one last desperate attempt to take it down. If she pulled this one off, Brian would try to catch the Trapinch, if he didn't damage it so badly it died.
(8+(5 -1) - 3 (+1) + 7 - 8 = 7dmg) The Trapinch had spent so much time, teasing the pokemon that she realized with completely shock that she never once paid attention to it's speed nor running patterns. The pokemon would collide against her hard sending her head over feet again as she lay on the ground panting this time. Her own blood spotted the cavern floor.
She was hurt, critically hurt!
The shock was enough to get her to her feet trembling. The best thing to do now would be to run, but she couldn't bring herself to abandon this place to such a little weakling.
No, she would put that pokémon down and then eat the yummy.
that was her reason for battle, her reason for living at this moment. Though the interesting thing about this, was that if Amiga would have noticed. This was the first time, that the Trapinch had said nothing as her eyes glowed in the semidarkness.
She would drop back to her belly again as though she couldn't stand to get up. It hurt so bad, as she crawled a little bit at a time towards her opponent.
Was she done?
Had she given up?
No, she would dig her mouth into the earth and then throw it upwards at her opponent. It was time to take this fight seriously, they were both critically hurt and she couldn't afford to miss. She take down her ability to attack and then ...she would make that yummy hers.
Brian smirked slightly as Amiga landed another blow on the Trapinch, once again sending it head over tail backward. This time, the Ground-type seemed to be in about the same state that Amiga was in, and barely able to stand, though it seemed it still had enough strength to use Sand Attack. Brian knew this battle could likely end with both Pokemon getting hurt worse, or even killed, and he wasn't about to let that happen. "Amiga, dodge!" he called, hoping that she would be able to get out of the way in time to avoid the attack.
(-1 to accuracy roll) The sand would splash into the face of her opponent. The move meant to lower the pokemon's ability to attack and defense as it lower her accuracy as the sand got into the eyes and made it harder to see.
The Trapinch would not go down alone. She was going to make them pay after this one as she stood her ground and stood ready to avoid whatever attack might come her way.
This battle had gotten too desperate for her. Next time, next time, she would not play with her food.
Brian gritted his teeth as Amiga took the Sand attack right to the face, effectively lowering her ability to attack. This has to end now, he thought. I'm not letting Amiga take any more damage than she already has. As he thought this, he removed the final Pokeball from his bag, then threw it at the Trapinch, hoping that he would be able to catch it and save it, and Amiga, from taking any more damage.
The Trapinch was prepared for an attack, but since it had never seen a trainer it didn't know the dangers of poke balls. So when the shadow fall across it, and the pokemon saw the spinning sphere he thought another yummy.
Though when it hit her mouth and she felt herself break up into light ...she realize just how much danger she was in.
If she was stronger, if she hadn't taken so much damage, she might have fought her way out.
But that wasn't the case, as the poke ball rocks once, twice, and a final hard time.
