"Thanks, Shierra! My name's-" Adenah was momentarily paused by the slap at her arm, but it didn't last long. The adults were closing in 'fast' and she didn't want to be around longer than she already was. Taking her prize in hand, she ran for it, and didn't so much as look back.
The balls of fire her partner in crime used as a distraction spooked her, causing the teenager to jump as she ran, but after realizing it for what it was she just started cackling. That was amazing! This egg hunting thing really was pretty cool and she wouldn't mind giving it a try next year!
