	Ledz was fully grown now and she was more beautiful than she realized. The lioness was not one to pamper and primp but instead she was one who sought out tough combat and fought tooth and nail for respect. Which she imagined she had because the group of viking boys that followed her was growing. It was hard to find Ledz with out at least two boys hanging around her at any given moment. Ledz was pretty sure it was because they respected her tough fighting spirit but others could see other reasons as to why the boys were following her around. She'd just completed a few spars and was on her way back to her family dens with three boys tailing after her showering her in compliments about what a great fighter she was. Ledz was silent but if you were to look closely you'd find a satisfied smirk on her maw. The things they were saying were true and Ledz loved hearing the praise. She continued down the path dismissing the boys just before she fully made it back to the dens. This was her usual daily pattern and no one ever said anything about it to her.

	Bast'ion had been staying with in the pride territory as of late feeling he needed to give the family a little more attention. He was trying to be a good paternal figure but it was not always easy. He was aware of Ledz's daily ritual but never really cared before. Before Ledz had been to young to pay any mind to the equally young lads following after her. Now Ledz was a full grown female and the intentions of the boys were not as cute. Bast'ion felt his blood boil a little seeing the group of boys trail after one of his beloved daughters. The one that looked the most like him. So, with out thinking, he stomped up to Ledz with an overbearing father aura following him. He didn't say anything just merely looked disapproving.

	Ledz looked at her father with a very unreadable look. She wasn't sure why he'd be coming up to her right now after her spar and look at her the way he was looking at her now. He'd never really cared what it was that she did before so Ledz was very confused and unsure what to do in this situation. She decided not to stand there and be stared at but took a firm step to the side to walk right by Bast'ion. That seemed like the best way to deal with this situation and now that it was dealt with she could have a nice long rest in the dens.

	For sure Ledz was his daughter with the guts to walk past her disapproving father Bast'ion the way she did. The kirin lion watched for a moment as Ledz didn't even acknowledge her fathers presence and opted to walk past. He couldn't believe it and maybe if he was in a different mood he'd even admire that kind of guts but right now he was pretty angry about it. Bast'ion was quick to rush in front of his daughter and block her way to the entrance of the family dens. There was a something in his cold blue eyes that signified he clearly wasn't about to let her pass again. "Ledz. What the hell is with all those boys." Bast'ion had stated to many before, including his daughters, that they may choose their mates freely but the kirin lion didn't actually mean a word of it. At least at the time he had stated those words he had meant them but right now at this very second seeing it in practice he disapproved greatly. One of his other daughters, Alt, had gone and had cubs at a young age and he was still dealing with the aftermath of that. Well, mostly Zerrin was dealing with that after math but what ever.

	Ledz didn't look surprised or upset that her father was currently blocking her way back to the dens. Infact, she didn't look like she really cared and kept her attitude as cool as a cucumber even as he spoke Ledz didn't even open her maw to argue. She merely shrugged at him with a meh looking expression firmly resting on her features. Ledz turned her back on Bast'ion and headed a different way to go do something else. If Bast'ion wasn't going to let her back in the dens she might as well go some where else and entertain her self.

	Again this was a move that Bast'ion would admire if it was done to some one else but his daughter was doing these moves to him and that didn't fly well with the kirin lion. He was quick again to block her path and this time he leaned firmly over his daughter showing his greater size off. "You need to answer me when I'm talking to you." The words sounded completely uncool as they left his maw and Bast'ion felt him self irritated with him self playing a responsible dad. This was Zerrin's job.

	Ledz didn't show any kind of annoyance on her features or anger. She merely twitched her mouth slightly to the left for a mere moment. "What's the use of pulling the dad card out now?" Was all she said before taking a seat with a now expectant look about her. It wasn't even that Ledz wanted an explanation as much as she relished the thought of Bast'ion peddling his wheels backward to try to explain or if he'd even bother.

	Bast'ion clearly didn't expect the card Ledz pulled. She wasn't arguing or even being disagreeable. She was asking a practical question and Bast'ion didn't have a practical answer for her at all and he knew it. It showed on his face the vulnerability he was feeling not being able to give an answer other than maybe 'because I said so'. Ledz was a fully grown female and she should be able to choose her mate if she wanted to. But of course Bast'ion doubled down anyways. "Boys want things and thats all you need to know," He growled feeling agitated that his authority was being question on these matters.

	Ledz once again shrugged but got up to her feet. "If thats what you're worried about you clearly don't know me. I've beat up most of the boys in this pride," While, yeah, an exaggeration the thing was Ledz could take care of her self and she wasn't in the least worried about her own well being. "If that's all I'll be going now... unless you want to play another dad card like a wet pelt." She had a teasing smile on her maw and a sharp look in her eye. This one on one was one she'd win if he continued with her. This was check and mate as far as Ledz was concerned but if Bast'ion wanted to continue going toe to toe with her she'd gladly blow it up in his face.

	Well he had to hand it to Ledz that he had seen her spar before and she was quite good. Feeling frustrated but also seeing he wasn't about to win this verbal spar he stepped aside to allow Ledz a pathway. Bast'ion headed back to the dens himself to probably not reflect on the moments he'd just spent with Ledz but instead take a nap. He had been beaten.
