She was getting restless being here. She loved being with her family, truly she did, but she wanted to explore, to see the world, to maybe meet their father even. That said.... Meera didn't want to just leave her family high and dry either.
She had been thinking about this for a while now, trying to decide if it was time to strike out on her own. She was still young, she knew that, but she wasn't a cub anymore. And there were so many things to see and do!
With a huff, the adolescent shifted back and forth on her paws. The hybrid was perched up atop a boulder, looking out at the setting sun with wide, sparkling eyes. It was getting late. She should probably head back soon, but... not yet. She wanted to see the stars come out first.
