Tafari had been spending more time out in the mortal realm usually. He had grown tired of the mountain that had long ago been dubbed "the gods' haven". What a despicable piece of rock, Tafari thought with a sniff. Cold and frigid, with snow that flaked rather than piled and an appearance so desolate it was like the very landmark itself had been cursed by a god of ice or winter. Regardless of how it came around, it was the only place that didn't seem to be effected by his powers and acted as a neutral ground for gods in times of crisis, but there were so few crisis among them that it seemed rather pointless.
Let mortals be the ones to have drama and fuss, Tafari thought with a snort. I will have nothing to do with any of that, mortal or otherwise.
That said, there were a few things that he appreciated mortals for, in specific the lionesses for. There were a few pretty felines here and there and Tafari was happy to enjoy their company for a few nights. In fact, that was what he was up to that day in the rogue lands. He knew better than to go after any large prides to snoop around anyone's lions there, but the rogue lands were an acceptable place to talk up a lovely lady. Especially when said ladies were usually too intimidated by him to refuse his request.
Now where was the next lucky lady to occupy his company with, he wondered, raising his eyes to the horizon.
