So I'd applied for a position within HR at the Boardwalk, and I'd gotten my job offer via email and told to make an appointment to do the hiring paperwork.
I went in for my appointment, only to have the rug pulled right out from under me; the job offer was rescinded because "some of the people in HR feel I am too aggressive".
So basically, I was told I got a job, then had it taken away because of the opinions of a couple of the current staff which had nothing to do with my qualifications or aptitude for the job itself.
And apparently, they couldn't just tell me so over the phone. They had me drive out 40 minutes and waste gas to tell me in-person that they didn't actually want me anymore.
