Lykas nodded to Aile and melted down to his puddle form with Acid Armor, seeping under the door and making his way toward the Receptionist's desk as quickly as possible. Once there, he'd reform, slowly but surely, under the desk so he wouldn't be seen immediately. ~Well, here goes nothing..." He thought to himself as he reached out, remembering that the lightest touch was all it took to trigger his ability. ~I hope this works...~ While his tentacles wriggled toward the receptionist and the security guard, he prayed to the Gods of the water that this worked in his favor for once.

The tentacles would lash out at the man and woman pair as they neared, both of them easy targets as neither expected a thing. Lykas would be partially lucky in that his 'curse' was passed onto the security guard, the man immediately falling to the ground disabled, a look of horror on his face as he was haunted with horrific otherworldly images. While he managed to briefly cripple the more physically imposing one, and probably the only one armed (weapon or Pokemon) his ability failed to activate against the woman who didn't have time to react to the tentacle touching her as she watched the man fall over, the receptionist screaming in response.

"Eric! Eric!" She screamed as she dropped to her knees and shook the man. "Oh my god he's having a seizure! Help! Someone help!" The receptionist shouted as she ran back down the hall, looking for help. While not exactly what he planned this was still favorable, now they only had one person to worry about seeing them but right now he wasn't much of a threat.

Okay...Whatever...~ Lykas thought to himself as the security guard seized up, completely disabled. Luckily his being affected by the hybrid's ability completely blocked his existence from the receptionist's senses. When she ran off, he slinked out from beneath the desk, wrapping his tentacles around his face to obscure his appearance somewhat before he opened the president's office door. "We need to go. Now." He told Aile. "We only have a few minutes before she gets back and he recovers." When the woman made to leave, he'd be sure to place himself between her and the security guard in hopes of blocking her appearance from him at least somewhat. The others had better hurry, though. If this guy realized this wasn't just some vivid hallucination caused by a spontaneous seizure, the alarms would be sounding within minutes.

And then that thought gave him an idea. Utilizing a weak Hex, he tweaked the man's mind just enough to make the experience hazy. He'd remember what happened but all the details would be scrambled and he'd have a hell of a migraine when Cursed Body wore off. That should help obscure their escape by making it seem a lot more like it was all a dream or a strange vision.

Sihlo started ignoring the woman, not giving a ratatta's a** how she felt about the testing going on within the building. As she started to step away and figure out how she was going to get the new pokeball she'd come for, the girl just happened to notice the young child clinging tightly to the woman's leg.

Sighing, she turned to the woman and waved her hand towards the glass, "You see that glass? It's specially made for sh- stuff like this," small person present, must watch the language, "Designed to keep the workers, and occasional tourist, safe. Besides, much better for the pokeball to blow up here, under controlled circumstances, rather than while it's in your pocket with your pokemon inside."

Reno could always watch a good explosion. He was a noted fanatic for them back in the day and they still held a dear place in his heart after all these years. But for whatever reason, he was focusing in on some blonde haired man sitting at a desk. Well, at least mental powers and giving mild weird vision paid off before. maybe this was them doing it again? Sliding away from the group as the Great Ball detonated, Reno found himself moving towards this strange man. Hopefully he got an idea about the guy before he had to make an awkward introduction of some sort.

Aile nodded and darted out, still keeping Sarlaac's ball close. A small smirk appeared on her face when she saw the guard indisposed, though the amusement was brief. "Nice work," was all she'd say as she darted, giving the hybrid a nod as she ran.

"Yes, thank you," Aaron sighed, hanging up the phone on his desk and plopping down on his seat in a huff. Damn corporate, never can accept anything less than perfect. As if he didn't have projects of his own to work on. Not to mention the mundane crap that comes with jobs like this. He should be used to this crap after the years he'd spent working here, but for some reason, it always got on his nerves. Well, at least focusing on his work helped him keep his cool when crap like this happened.

Aaron only felt more annoyed when he saw the tour group outside. Tours were commonplace, sure. Silph Company was the most lucrative business in Kanto, if not the world. Who WOULDN'T want to learn more about it? But the people that come on these tours were seldom beneficial to a work place environment.

As if to illustrate the point of his thoughts, one of the tourists - a redhead with a prosthetic arm (made of metal?) started walking up to him. Great, another idiot. Aaron did his best not to look agitated as Reno walked up to him. "Can I help you?" he asked gruffly. He wasn't any better at hiding his emotions than his son was, as it turned out.

The guard would continue to lay on the ground for the duration of their escape, afflicted with horrible illusions from the other side, it was going to take a lot of therapy before this guy could be remotely normal again. Things were better for the Snagems however as they would be unhindered in their escape, no one around to see them make a dash back to the door to the stair well. For once things were going relatively smoothly.

The woman looked at the glass then at Sihlo and back to the glass again, a look of uncertainty on her face, as if she didn't believe Sihlo knew what she was talking about but alas the woman did not say anything more.

The tour guide had gotten excited for the Great Ball detonation, enthusiastically telling the group about all the safety features which go into a Pokeball, how a Snorlax could sit on one and it would be perfectly fine. In the middle of one of his flamboyant speeches a voice would speak to him over his ear piece, causing him to jump a bit, startled. After a few mutters with his back turned away from the crowd he would turn to face them with a bright smile on his face.

"Okay, if I could just have everyone follow me back to the elevator..." He said, motioning for them to follow him. Something happen? Why the sudden leave? If anyone was paying attention from the other side of the room, coming out of a different elevator far away from the one the guide wanted to lead them to, came two guards and a Machamp. The Superpower Pokemon was pushing some type of cart while the guards flanked it. There was an air of urgency and sincerity about them, that they had a very important job to do and they would see to it that it was done.

"R-reno......it....." Sub would try to speak to Reno through the ear piece, attempting to give him a heads up about the template Pokeball arriving but something was jamming the ear piece. Hopefully Reno was paying attention.

Reno would stare down the scientist in front of him for a moment before nodding to himself in a very confirmatory way. Why had he done that? Well, he noticed this nice little name plate on the man's desk that said Aaron Toumei. So, looks like his third eye decided he needed a detour to mess with a different Snagem's family. "And here I thought the stiffness was learned. Guess it was genetic all along. Well, your son says hello." Reno told Aaron, fully prepared to continue talking with the arrogant man standing before him, when the sound an elevator car arriving on the floor greeted his ears. Giving a sideways glance towards the elevator on the opposite end of the floor, he could see a few Pokeballs on a cart being hauled along by a Machamp and two guards.

Reno would focus on the Machamp's mind as he realized the easy in he had. Taking up residence in the Pokemon's mind, he would begin sending thoughts in his head that he needed to show off his strength and power. After all, he could see this big audience at the other end of the hall who were being taken away. Likely due to not being entertained. He had a duty to keep them entertained. Maybe he could throw the cart at that chamber they had been staring at when the doors opened? Show them what a real show was.

Once she was through the door, she'd wait for Lykas to be through and the door to be closed before finally relaxing. "Well then. That was... Eh... I probably shouldn't say it. I'll just hope that the others are doing well. Nice job again, by the way. Shall we," she chuckled, heading back up the stairs to the roof once more.

"I'll say it, then." Lykas retorted as he followed Aile down the hall and back into the stairwell. "That was too easy..." The hybrid stated simply. "But I agree. Hopefully the others can get their part over and done with without incident. I don't wanna have to save their butts..." With that out, he headed up the stairs alongside Aile. He had a feeling he'd just jinxed them but if things weren't difficult in almost every mission they went on, what fun would Snagem be?

Lykas just had to say it, didn't he? Those words were cursed in this team, uttering them, or even thinking them, would damn you to some sort of horrific fate. However this time the cursed words seemed to do nothing to the speaker, instead, like a genie, the words decided to punish him in a different way.

Ms Edyn

Reno Vantas

The Machamp would fall victim to Reno's mind manipulation, the Superpower Pokemon completely unaware that the urges it felt were the channeler's doing, then again Reno would notice he didn't have to manipulate the Pokemon very much as showing off its strength was something it was always ready to do.

"Ma-champ!" The Fighting type shouted as he pounded his chest with his lower two arms, flexing with the top two as he attempted to get everyone's attention. The two guards with him spun around to see what was wrong with the Pokemon, though both were too late to do anything about what happened next.

"Chaaamp!" With little effort the Pokemon picked up the cart and tossed it towards the reinforced glass chamber which the Great Ball had previously been detonated. The force behind the throw was more than enough to send the entire cart slamming through and shattering what was supposed to be unbreakable glass, the Pokemon letting everyone know just exactly how powerful it was.

The scene would cause the scientists nearby to flee and the tourists to panic as they ran and crammed themselves in the elevator, pushing anyone and everyone away nearby as they figured the Machamp had gone mad, even though it was still hamming it up with the flexing.

Both of the guards would release a Pokemon; a Kadabra and a Haunter, the pair prepared to fight the Machamp and restrain it. In the midst of the chaos someone would order the entire building to be put on lock down, alarms blaring and the exists for each floor sealed. Probably not what Reno anticipated. All this can't just be because a Pokemon went wild, could it?

Requiem of Whyspers

As Aile and Lykas tried to make it back out the door they came out of they would find nothing but a wall of steel in its place and alarms blaring. Something or someone had triggered the building's security system and it looked like they weren't getting out the way they came in. Lykas just had to say it, didn't he.

"Lykas, Aile, can you hear me?" Sub spoke up through their ear pieces. "Something is going on in Silph, as you might have already figured out, and from what I can gather it's nothing you two did. Something happened on the sixth floor which caused the entire place to go on lock down. Rendezvous with Reno and get out of there. He will probably need help getting back out."

Watching as the cart when sailing into the 'unbreakable' glass and shattered it like an egg shell, Reno let a smile cross his face. Taking care not to let anything slip as he continued to manipulate the Machamp, he decided to give it the thought that the two Pokemon in front of it were the guards offering him more chances to display his raw power for the audience. He wanted, no, needed to take them on if he was to truly prove him and put on a wonderful show.

Turning his back to Terashi's father, Reno would fake a bit of panic as he took the most direct route towards the elevator with the rest of the tourists. A route that coincidentally took him right past the discarded cart the Machamp had been hauling around. And oops, looks like he had let Harleen's Pokeball go when the commotion happened, so he quietly grabbed 'his' Pokeball before continuing his dash towards the elevator. Provided he could squeeze in. If not, then it was time to improvise. Nodding to the Wynaut on his shoulder, he prepared himself for whatever could go wrong in front of him.

Aaron let out a ragged sigh at the spectacle that transpired. He did NOT need this right now. Thanks to this, he'd end up spending hours of overtime filling out paperwork that would get in the way of everything else he was expected to do. Honestly, who does the company rely on those things? They're barely fit for ten-year-olds to play with, so why does corporate think they can relied upon for even the simplest tasks? It's not like they possess the mental capacity to understand responsibility.

By the time he had agonized enough about the consequences of Machamp's foolishness to remember that one of the tourists was addressing him, Reno was long gone. He hadn't forgotten what the redhead with the prosthetic arm said about his son, however, and made a mental note to check in with said progeny the second he has the free time to do so.

Aile stared at where the door used to be, almost leered at it as Sub started to talk to them. "Of course something f~/~ happened," she half spat, half sighed. "Yeah, we'll bail his a** out. Nothing is ever that simple for Snagem, is it?" She shook her head before deciding to sit on the handrail, using it to slide down the stairs instead of simply walk to where they needed. If things were going to go tits up again, then she was at least going to get some sort of amusement from it.
