[PRP] An Odd Visitor (Golka/Ginga)

Another quiet day, another quiet long day, the colours of the evening sky had finally crept across the bright blue cloud dotted expanse and tinted it pink and purple and ofcourse...very very dull. Atleast in the High Warlord's opinion as she sat atop her usual rock and overlooked the area with bored amber eyes, nothing out of usual, nothing really. The herds were heading back to sleep, the birds were heading back to their nests, the usual shtick was happening before everyone would sleep and she was sure that some of the pride were heading back to the canyon.

The usual. The only real notable things that'd happened in the past moons were the odd rogue that passed by the borders that she'd have to inspect personally as most of the Scouts and Grunts were keeping an eye out for their Warchief's - hopefully - triumphant return. Though that wouldn't save him from her beating the snot out of her idiotic brother...

But here she was, on rogue duty, eyes still hovering the horizon and wondering if anything other than a stray wandering leopard or cheetah would cross her path tonight.

Hm… he had taken the wrong turn somewhere. He was sure of it. Sighing to himself and looking up at the fading sky, he wondered how far he had wandered from the rendezvous point with his cheetah companion. Ginga, coming from a hidden grove that was occupied only by his large family, had never been in the outside would up until a few weeks ago. And the world was constantly surprising him.

His eyes caught sight of something. It was… a bare idea that something was there. He nearly missed it and kept his eyes going. But… something stood out. Frowning, he walked closer to the rock, unsure… and finally saw the shape of a lioness on top. He blinked. She was the color of rocks. Constantly, he was surprised by nature colored pelts that he had seen. He had come from a home of bright colors.

Excitedly, he walked forward. ”Hello there!” he called jovially, eyes bright.

When a voice cut through the silence of the evening, her ear spun atop her head before she turned to face the...peculiarly coloured male that almost made her balk in surprise, now creatures came in such odd colours but this...this was certainly an odd looking creature. He looked like a piece of the night sky had been ripped out and given legs and a mane.
By the voice he seemed relatively fresh faced to the world and narrowed her eyes, had nobody taught this young male about strangers? Or approaching lions he didn't know were safe or not?

As he approached she gave a short warning snarl before huffing and dropping down from her rock, her thick limbs giving a shake as she landed from the impact before stopping a good few feet away from him and watching him. Eyeing over the odd coloured sky male with her ears partly pinned back.

"You're awfully cheery, do you greet all strangers like this?" Her tone had a scolding, stern tone in it as she held her head up and observed the male in otherwise relative silence. Awaiting his answer.

Ginga was… well, he was quite baffled, if he could be perfectly honest. His eyes widened, a few steps taken backwards, uncertainty replacing the pure joy on his face. She was a stocky lady, full of muscles. Certainly way more than him. He forced an uneasy mile.

”…Yes?” he tried, not sure if his honesty was necessarily the right thing. But… his family lived by honesty. And he wasn’t going to quickly break that tradition. ”I thought other would enjoy… cheeriness,” he added on, head tilting. ”I’m sorry?” he tried again. Apologies would work, yes? Even though he didn’t know what he could possibly be sorry about. For saying hello?

The world was so strange.

Golka's ears flipped back silently as she watched this blue and pink fluffy foolish young male for a moment or two before she sighed faintly through her nostrils in rumbling frustration. That was the problem with sheltered lions being unleashed on the world, how many of her grunts had beaten up poor fools who'd gotten too friendly.

"You expect everyone to be that friendly out here, boy?" She responded sternly as she stepped forward and watched him, ears flattened back as she eye'd him down as she would've any of her grunts. This male was going to learn a lesson today. "What's your name, you fluffy blue thing?"
