Comments: I have a lot of fun just mixing colors here, wanted to focus more on color study, really... I know it's not a typical color palette piece, but I really like the way the mixing turned out on the skin. (Anatomy sucks... IKR? but it was fun for coloring purposes not to worry about it too much)

Scribbles on the back of a napkin at a wedding... watching a couple's first dance as man and wife... what's more magical than real love?

Comments:
Don't turn on the light, it angers the shadow in the hall. It looks human at first, but you can see his claw marks on the wall... Don't get too close, those teeth might bite, or look into his soulless eyes, it's a truly terrifying sight.

Comment: Actually still working on it, plan to for several hours... I didn't get a chance to start until late, but will get it done soon tonight. XD

Didn't realize how late it is already...

Done! I don't like it as much as the Head/Artist request portrait, but it'll do for now. ^_^

Theme: Spirit Challenge pt 1 - interacting Characters

Comments: So... last year I did a chibi in lineart only, and she didn't get used, I'm hoping my mermaid will at least meet a new friend, as her story is kind of tragic... though, from what I can see, she could be very well getting ready to drown someone.

Her name is Thassalona, she's quite weary of humans (for good reasons, most of the time) but would love a new sea fairing friend.

Theme: Tiny Death



Comments: ... I didn't feel much like drawing today, we were busy having family visit (grandmother's birthday) so I didn't get much a chance to sit down and get something out save for something small anyways, as I crashed right after supper and ended up almost sleeping through the deadline. Got this done though! It's TINY, but still death. LOL
