[PRP] Autumn night [Tobi/Furaha]

The black and white male stretched himself out completely as he exited the den for the night. It felt nice. There was a cooler breeze and lighter scent in the air. It meant being out in the day was fixing to become so very bearable. His tail flicked excitedly at that thought as he went the thirty or so feet to the nearest watering hole.

Tobi preferred nights to days. He blended better and had a lot better success hunting. While he might be shy around others that weren't who he deemed friends, he had no problem catching meals. Between he and his mate, Tobi liked to think he were actually the better at it.

Speaking of his mate, Tobi turned around, pale eyes narrowing as he searched for the dark colored male. Was he awake yet?

Furaha used to not be a night owl. Personally, he enjoyed sleeping throughout the night. It was peaceful. But, after meeting Tobi, his sleeping schedule slowly began to change. It was... strange. Sleeping throughout the heat of the day, awake at night. He still felt surreal moments.

And, even with the sleep change, Rah didn't quite stop sleeping in. It was just... he slept in late in the night.

Stretching and yawning, he slowly came out of the den, eyes hazed and not quite adjusted to the moonlit world. He woke up alone, again. It made him pout at first and he surely whined about not having a warm body to nuzzle in the morning. But Tobi didn't seem to want to miss the night, despite how long it stretched.

Once his eyes adjusted, he glanced around. His lover was no where around. Panic didn't show quite yet, however. He knew their surrounding. It wasn't quiet dangerous in their little area. Moving towards the watering hole, he had hoped to find him there. And was quite relieved to see the half white lion, shoulders relaxing.

Grinning, he crouched for a moment, before pouncing out and into the moonlight towards the male. "Good morning," he greeted. It was meant as a joke, since it was still night.

Ah, there he was. He heard him before he saw them. "Morning," came the bubbly reply as a grin appeared on his face. It was their morning. The white and black male moved over and rubbed himself against the other's side in a greeting before he moved back to the water to let his mate drink.

Right now this was fine. No one was around. He didn't have to shrink back into himself right now and it was always the best when it was the two of them.

"So. I was going to go hunt tonight. ..Avoiding leopards, of course." Leopards liked to hunt at night and scavenge kills. He'd been followed by a few before and honestly, they were relentless and they heckled him. They judged his skills, how he brought down the kill, even how he was dragging the carcass back to the den. He did chase them off, eventually. It'd scared him. He wasn't one to get that aggressive, but he didn't think they needed to know exactly where his den was. "If you join... We can probably get the bigger beasts while they sleep."

Furaha nodded, watching his mate closely while Tobi drank. Understandable, considering the leopards in their area were… very opinionated and liked to harass his mate. Fura would have had a good time chatting with them, if it wasn’t for their treatment of Tobi. So, alas, he chose to avoid them and ward them off when they got too close to the black and white lion.

”I would love to join you,” Fura answered in a purr, moving forward to n** at his ear playfully. ”Let’s stir up trouble tonight, hmm?” the brown lion murmured with a twinkle in his eyes, cocking his head to the side a bit coyly.
