"I can see why she likes it here," The white lion smiled as he walked alongside the brown male. While Prometheus hadn't requested his company, he had been provided with it. As usual his father had provided absolutely no clarity for this decision and Havase didn't seem particularly forthcoming with information. Then again, the entire 'army' had already moved towards this region and they had done so quickly. Prometheus had surmised that something was going to happen, he simply didn't know when, and it therefore made sense that he might be provided with an escort. He was fortunate that Havase was perhaps one of the most optimistic of the collective and often the most sociable, but as of late he had been a little somber - Nyctimus had since advised the pale male as to why that was.

"It's certainly a pleasant region, everyone is very hospitable," Havase agreed with a smile. He hadn't been here in a while, but given Prometheus's decision to pursue one of the nobles who had been escorted out here for her own safety, Havase had noted he could kill several birds with one stone. Destati had had considerable concerns regarding the Bahari'mtoto in recent months, and was confident that their peaceful life was close to shattering...sadly, he had been unable to find proof, and thus couldn't provide a concrete date and some form of warning. At best, he could only send particular individuals into specific regions to scope out and observe the sanctuary for any signs of danger.

...So far, Havase had found none.

"Hospitable denizens, warm without being suffocating and plenty of food," Prometheus furrowed his brow. "And almost completely devoid of violence, that seems a touch odd," he shook his head. "Maybe it's just that I'm not used to it but it's too tranquil, like water that hasn't been disturbed yet," he pointed out.

"You're not alone in that observation, but there are theories around it," Havase nodded towards an obscure form near the shoreline. Though she was hard to make out, she seemed to possess some form of wings. Based on his own mother, Prometheus couldn't dismiss the fact that whoever that might have been was definitely one of the divine. "Most of those theories seem to surround the fondness some of the divine have for this region, I have no idea exactly what it is they like about it, but they seem to leave an impression." he explained. "Your mother gifted them with salt resistant plants following a tragedy, the divine summer goddess graced the shores and even the more obscure in domain have favoured it. They all seem to have a place hre and they are embraced and loved like all others."

"But there's a god killing pride directly next door," Prometheus pointed out.

"Who obey the laws of the land," Havase stated. That really was something he didn't understand himself, for all intents and purposes the Nergui were meant to be warmongers with little regard for the other prides, but his intelligence might have been off on this one. They had gone through several wars and based on very vague reports, they had been summarily defeated and sent on the run, they might very well have been licking their wounds. Whether they were re-evaluating their stance remained to be seen, but Havase had lived long enough to know that this was probably unlikely.

"For now," Prometheus remarked.

"For now," Havase agreed. "But the Bahari'mtoto seem to have gained a considerable number of allies simply through their determination to remain neutral and hospitable to all. The rules are absolute, you must obey them while here, but if you -"

"Wish to fight, you must exit their borders, at which point you are free to do as you please," the female voice interjected and the pale lioness slipped in to view. She had a pleasant smile and a grace to her that made it clear that she was of noble blood. Havase wouldn't need to provide a confirmation towards the young male, he would know at a mere glance that she was not from here, and if that wasn't enough, her accent would certainly do the rest for him. "Havase, you have come to visit," she observed and raised a brow. "There have been a lot of visits lately, one might say that your kind are growing concerned," she murmured and tilted her head to the side as she cast her gaze towards Prometheus. "Your friend however, is new."

"A pleasure to see you again, Thalyssra," Havase returned the smile with a warm one of his own and released a sigh. "Am I to assume our visits have been noticed by any others?"

"If the King has made the observation he has said nothing to cause alarm," she reassured the elder male and pursed her lips. "But Destati has increased his visits exponentially, they may not be aware of all who are in his service but I am," she pointed out. "And you are?" she finally nodded towards Prometheus expectantly, he had seemed momentarily surprised by her directness, if only because he was now attempting to work out who she was. He now knew her name, but her relationship with Havase seemed to indicate she was an ally, so did that mean she was part of the other sect of nobles?

"Ah, it's Prometheus," he offered at last and cleared his throat. "I'm one of Destati's sons."

The reaction he received was not one he was expecting. Thalyssra's pleasant expression wavered and she glanced quickly towards Havase who merely shook his head, his expression gave nothing away. Thalyssra recovered quickly, but her response had not gone unnoticed and Prometheus made a note to pursue it later.

"Well then, that is something," she said after a breath, the smile reappearing. "Well as you now know, my name is Thalyssra and I am one of the Politico," she explained. "I represent the lions of your father's regions, or at least a portion of them. There are several of us per region."

"You're a rather long way from home then," Prometheus raised a brow and glanced between Havase and Thalssyra.

"For much the same reason as the mother of my cubs is missing and presumed dead," Havase didn't bother to mince his words as he took a seat on the sands and released a sigh. "Thalyssra was extracted on the behest of your father after it became apparent her life was in danger. She's rather unpopular in some parts of the Al-Siq, her views aren't progressive enough," he pointed out, to which Thalssyra chuckled.

"I regard the role civilians play in society much too highly," Thalyssra pointed out. "And I firmly believe that the Justicars have done an admirable job in keeping the peace in our land... even considering the current events."

"Ah, so not one for overthrowing them and demanding they bend the knee."

"Precisely," she confirmed. "So to what do we owe the pleasure, other than scoping us out again," she eyed Havase critically. It seemed Prometheus and she might have something in common in that respect, neither of them liked being kept in the dark regarding current events, particularly when it could impact on their day to day life.

"Ah, well..." Havase motioned to Prometheus with a smirk. "He was actually looking for you, though he didn't really specify why. Something to do with broadening his horizons I imagine," he added and cleared his throat. "So if you don't mind me leaving him in your very capable paws, I'll continue with my observations while he picks your brain for whatever it is that he might be seeking."

Thalyssra gave a wave of her paw.

"That shouldn't be a problem, he looks well behaved," she teased as she glanced after the brown male. "My condolences on your loss, by the way."

"Thank you," Havase replied without looking over his shoulder.

It was only when he was finally out of earshot that Prometheus finally looked back towards the noble lioness and shook his head. "You will forgive me for being blunt, but the more I explore the less answers I have. I appreciate that you would prefer not to answer some of these questions but at this current juncture I feel like I need at least something."

"You want to know why everyone you've met so far has treated you strangely," Thalyssra tilted her head to the side. "I assume you've been to your father's home, our home."

"You're observant."

"I have to be," she replied gently. "And while your father would probably prefer that you didn't know until there is a better time, I think you may be in need of a history lesson."

"Another one?" Prometheus shook his head. "I got a fair number of those when I visited the Al-Siq."

"Then perhaps you would prefer a mythical tale," she motioned for him to follow and pursed her lips a touch. "It may help to put things in to perspective for you..."
