You are dragged into darkness ...screaming, crying, pleading, or praying ...nothing can save you. Deeper and deeper and deeper still you descend, until finally you are dropped into a field of flowers. If you look up, you will see just how far you have fallen.
You have no hope of getting out of here the same way you got in.
No hope at all, as the sound of movement in the darkness will bring him to you. His eyes a dark red as he walks slowly towards you. His hair a paleness that seem to shimmer silver in the dull lighting of this place. Lights that now you recognized kept this place from being pitch black, but before you can investigate that further he walks almost all the way up to your face.
"What the hell are you doing here?"
"This is no place for the weak ... and...."
He would stop in mid-sentence as he notices.
"You have poke balls.....some idiot actually made you a trainer? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA."
One hand of his would travel to his face as he tries to hold in the laughter. But he doesn't stop, he just keeps laughing at you ...laughing in your face until finally he would pull a single poke ball from his pocket with his spare hand.
"Ah, that was a good laugh, so, if you are truly a trainer ...call out your pokemon.
He declares as the hand that once grip his face is now wiping the tears from his eyes.
"Otherwise, I will simply take them from you and leave you dead."
What is going on? What is happening isn't important, because at this moment ...you have been challenged to a battle.

- Battle Information - Isolde is ready for battle!
Down, down, down through the bowels of the earth, a shrill shriek echoed as the redhead fell. Time held no meaning to the terrified teen. Had she been falling for days? Weeks? Months? In all honesty, none of these were correct, as it had merely been seconds or, at most, minutes, but the overwhelming darkness coupled with the continuous sensation of falling robbed Aria of whatever sense of scale she might have had. Even after she hit the ground, it took a few moments before the girl's screams quieted and the realization that she had survived yet another fall from great heights dawned upon her.
Isolde was deposited not too far from her trainer. She didn't quite understand why the girl was still making that shrill noise. She was back on the ground, wasn't she? But it didn't seem like the noise would stop for a while, so the snowy sandshrew busied herself with the colorful plants she fell near. While she had seen a few flowers on occasion on the snowy mountain, they didn't bloom in anywhere near the number as the field she found herself in. And the colors! Reds, yellows, pinks, blues, and nearly every color in between!
Although she had quieted down by then, when the white-haired male approached and confronted her Aria was still trembling with fear. She had barely managed to get up onto her feet when the male was mere yards away from her if that. He questioned what she was doing in the area and... Laughed at her? Aria could feel her fear start to melt away as anger boiled in its place. Okay, she hadn't exactly made the boldest first impression, but that was no reason to laugh at her. "I'd like to see how much you'd enjoy being dropped from who knows how high," she grumbled to herself as the male continued his laughing fit.
Once he pulled out a ball, it was very clear to Aria what the male wanted, at least for the instant. But from the way he spoke, it seemed the stakes would be high. Not battling would likely be more costly, even if his threat of death was an idle one. "...Fine. Isolde!" As she called out, she looked over towards the snowy sandshrew with a bouquet of flowers in her claws. "Front and center!"
"Seems you have a stronger pokemon that I thought."
The boy would switch poke balls as he would release another. He would let it drop near his feet as the poke balls opens to reveal a Poochyena. The pokemon would shake himself all over. His tail would flick a couple of times before he stares hard at you and growls deep in his throat.
"I will let Rush play with you, because, it seems you know how to battle a bit. But, since, I am still stronger than you ... you aren't worth my attention."
His eyes would dart over as another figure would crash into the ground.
"It seems it's raining ....trainers?"
He would actually think a bit about his words before he turns around sharply.
"You have fun with my friend here, and I will see about the other one. Maybe, they will be a bit more fun to play with."
Rush would glare at you.
It would seem that you are being left alone to battle.
Rush (M) lvl: 2/Rash Stats: Hp: 14 Pp: 16 Att: 7 Def: 7 Spd: 7 Sp Att: 6 Sp Def:5 Moves: Tackle, Toxic, Leer, Rock Smash Exp: 100 (Okay, I am trying a new battle system here, so hopefully it will work out alright) ________________________________________________________
Solo battle Rules
Rule# 1 - Do not delete battle posts. A deleted post will result in dmg being dealt to your pokemon worth half of it's Hp (Automatically for each deleted post and if you have less than half left, it will end up with your pokémon fainting or dying.)
Rule# 2 -First roll is yours, and the second one will be your opponent's pokemon. (This is for all posts, attacks or defensive posts.)
Rule# 3- Which attacks your opponent will use will be pre-decided by a 4 sided 10 dice rolls at the top of the post that shows your opponent pokemon's stats. The number will match the list of attacks ....a total of four will be posted. If you fail to subdue the pokemon by the end of 10 rolls, the pokemon will run away or retreat.
Rule# 4 - The 4side10 dice roll is only for the opponent's (Poochyena's) attack, and there will be no counter-attacks in these sorts of battles for you or your opponent.
Example: First dice is a 1, which means, if Poochyena has the highest speed it would attack with Bite.
You will roll a 2dice 20 sides.
The first dice is your pokemon's defense. The second dice is the Poochyena's attack.
You roll a 9 first and the second roll for Poochyena is a 18.
That means the attack is successful, and you will have to calculate your dmg. This is how the battles will work.

Aria looked over the poochyena as her sandshrew bounded over. An ordinary pokemon, but clearly enough of a force that her host felt it would be enough to handle her. "We'll see about that..." the girl muttered as the male walked off, leaving her to deal with his pup. She looked back over to the poochyena and was challenged with a growl before the canine rushed forward. A standard tackle attack, nothing special. "Guard yourself with defense curl!" Aria commanded with a sweep of her arm to the side for emphasis.
Isolde saw the pup rush her and let out a squeek. Rolling up wasn't exactly something she was good at, being bulkier than her sand-bound cousins, but she did her best to crouch and present her icy hide to her enemy. With any luck it'd bear the bulk of the attack and leave her unharmed. Right now she needed all the protection she could get, as she was still injured from her tussle with the roggenrola on the mountain.

Round 1 results: Critical hit from Rush! Future attack rolls gain +1 accuracy! It's not very effective! Isolde takes [[20-8-5]+[7-9]]/2 = [7-2]/2 = 5/2 rounded up = 3 damage!
Round 2: Isolde uses Icicle Crash! Rush defends!
Isolde: HP 5/14, no stat changes, no ailments Rush: HP 14/14, +1 accuracy to attack, no ailments
Isolde's actions might have failed to bolster her defenses, but they did prevent her from taking the full brunt of the canine's tackle. Her steely hide also helped to soften the blow to a negligible amount of damage despite the devastating attack. It still hurt enough for Isolde to let out a squeak of pain, but it certainly wasn't the scream of pain her opponent had been eagerly anticipating.
Aria couldn't help but smirk at the pup's confused expression. "Tough luck, pup. Strike back with icicle crash!" Unfortunately for the poochyena, he was right next to Isolde, so he was left scrambling as sharp shards of ice formed and started shooting his way. A few panicked yelps even left the pup's mouth as he tried to evade the icicles.

He let out a deep growl that soon became more gurgled as something built up in his throat. With a burbling bark, a foul liquid splashed out from the depths of the poochyena's throat, threatening to splatter Isolde.
"Move!" Aria warned, and the snowy sandshrew was quick to obey. Not that the liquid would actually damage her. The icy creature doubted that her puppy opponent actually knew a water move, which meant she was likely being assaulted by some sort of poisonous substance. A substance that just plain wouldn't work on her... Probably. Still, she didn't want any of that gunk messing up her pristine white hide, so she attempted to avoid getting splattered.

Not that it mattered that the substance wouldn't even bother the snowy sandshrew as not a single drop of toxic splatter touched her. "Good! Another icicle crash!" Aria emphasized her point with another flourish, pointing at their foe a touch too dramatically. She didn't know what other tricks her enemy had, but the girl didn't want to take the risk of the pup knowing a highly effective move. Besides, she had a point to prove to the person the poochyena belonged to, namely that he was sorely underestimating her.
By now Rush was nearly shaking with rage. First the lackluster strike of his attack, and now his attempts at cripping his foe with poison failed? His trainer would be appalled if he could see his difficulty against these weaklings! Still, there wasn't much he could do at the moment but try to evade the arrows of ice being flung his way. He would wait for a lull in the attacks, then make the duo pay.

It was a shame that the pup wouldn't get the opportunity to prove himself. One of the shards of ice slammed into his side, tossing him away like a piece of trash. The icicle remained embedded in the pup, and if it weren't for the faint rise and fall of his chest, Aria would have sworn that Rush, as his trainer called him, had fought his last battle. Although, if he didn't get proper treatment soon, it probably would be his last fight. But that trainer of his had left him to battle on his own, and likely still had his attention elsewhere.
Aria looked around for a moment before spotting the white-haired male that had initially threatened her into battling in the first place. Her eyes narrowed into a glare, but she cupped her hands around around her mouth to help extend the range of her damaged voice anyway. "Hey, Snowball!" she shouted, ignoring that her voice was cracking from the strain of her earlier screaming and the commands she gave during battle. "Ya gonna just leave your pup to bleed out or what?!" She genuinely didn't care how focused the male was on whatever other fallen trainer he was fussing with. Either he'd care, or he wouldn't, but she was at least going to let him know that something deserved some amount of attention.

"Oh fudge nuggets."
The boy would declare at the sight of his pokemon as for the moment he ignores the trainer he was dealing with. Then a slight blush would spread across his face as he recalls the pokemon.
"Well, it seems you were stronger than a thought. I can't believe I underestimated you twice."
He wouldn't clip the poke ball back to his belt, but instead, would walk to the side of the path to pull out a bright pink box with flowers and eggs printed all over it from behind a large rock. He would sigh to try and send his embarrassment away.
Then he would place the pokeball in it, before standing in front of you.
"Recall you pokemon and hand it over, if you have any other injury pokemon I will take care of them now. I belong to the medic class at the academy.
I tried to tackle the problem up ahead by myself, but since I couldn't get over it ...I decided to simply make sure that anyone else who tries to tackle it ...is stronger than me."
He would then point to the box.
"I have the ability to prevent casualties, but, others might not be so lucky. Anyway, if you need healing simply return to me, and I will take care of all your pokemon needs."
"As for what the path is ahead, well, I traveled the eastern route, so I can tell you for sure that that path holds a lot of ghost pokemon. It also ends with a strong boss fight against a pokémon that is ghost and steel.
None of my pokemon were strong against that type, so if I was you I wouldn't go that route unless you have pokemon who are strong against that type. Then again, considering it's the only path, you don't have much of a choice.
I guess if it's too hard for you, you can just come back for me to heal you up, or team up with someone, but not me. I took enough of a beating to know ...I am better off helping than risking it again."
The boy would look at the blood stain where the battle took place and frown.
"Yup, this is the better place for me.
Well, Good luck and happy hunting."
He would turn around then as he hears his pokemon's whimper.
"I got to keep testing these trainers."
He would then return your pokemon to you fully healed, and then go to deal with the other trainer.

When you level up your pokemon, simply go the link below and place the pokemon's new level, nature, and what your pokemon is.
Tiye didn't see a lot of the plummet through darkness. She had closed her eyes in fear, and refused to open them again, until she had quite literally landed back on solid ground.
Her rump finding the landing to be just as painful in her head as it was in her mind.
The girl would start to get up only to have herself literally slam back down ...as her own pokemon would land on top of her. A rock type, Curie was not a light pokemon as the girl would give out a muffled squeak, and then moves to get out from underneath the pokemon.
"Ugh, no one should have luck like this."
She declare sharply to her pokemon and then to herself as she looks up to see that in front of them is a white hair boy. Her eyebrow would arch a bit as she moves quickly to free herself before standing up.
"Where are we? What is going on? Who are you?"
The girl would declare sharply, but it would seem that the boy wasn't interested in answer any of that as he would laugh at her. He was actually laughing at her, and Tiye felt herself going red in the face with rage.
She was going to give him something to laugh about, and it would seem that he had the same idea as he held out a pokeball. Curie would run in front of her.
Though the rocky canine had thought to leave her behind, but, since she was stuck with no idea what was happening ...it was better to align with the one she knew instead of the one she didn't know.

Tiye went red hot in anger as it would seem that she was being literally left shun. The girl's rage would make her stomp a couple of times, but before it turned into a fully flung fit she stops herself and tries to calm down by breathing slowly as Curie's head would hit the ground.
This was the sort of trainer she was tied too ...no one's luck should be this bad.
The puppy pokemon would wag her tail once at the Poochyena.
(Aren't our trainers the worst)
Though it would seem that the Poochyena wasn't interested in answering her as it seemed to take a defensive stance. Curie was actually faster in this fight.
"Curie use, Rock Smash."
Tiye was going to show that trainer that no one ...and she meant no one looks down on someone like her.
Curie missed as the pokemon darted away. Her paw steps taking her past her opponent as she tries to slam her opponent into the ground hard enough that it would smash rocks. Though the ground at her feet did splinter, the fact that there was nothing underneath her ..make the effort useless as she spun around quickly.
NO pokemon worth their good sense would give another pokemon their back willingly. Thus, she turned ready to dodge herself at a moment's notice. Her eyes on the pokemon that seemed to be charging towards her.
It was a tackle attack.
"Dodge it, Curie."
Tiye would declare, and if it wasn't that she was busy at the moment, Curie would have rolled her eyes at the obvious advice.
While Aria certainly attracted the attention of the white-haired male, his reaction was not what she expected. The embarrassment at yet again underestimating the girl, maybe, but certainly not him pulling out a box with a rather feminine pattern printed on it and offering to heal her injured pokemon. And Aria hadn't heard of a medic class, although... She supposed they had to get their pokemon center staff from somewhere. The girl eyed the white-haired male warily, but ultimately recalled Isolde and placed the snowy sandshrew's ball in the offered box. "...A bit of a harsh welcome, but I can see why it'd be necessary," she commented, still not sure if she could trust the other trainer but knowing the potential benefit was worth the risk. If the boy's words were truthful, the genetic oddity could certainly use the healing. If not... Bael was more likely than Isolde to follow any unsavory commands that might be necessary.
That trust was rewarded, and true to his word, Isolde was healed back to pristine condition and returned to Aria. The male then spoke of what lay ahead in the eastern - and only - path, and Aria allowed her gaze to wander down into the darkness. Ghosts lurked down that way, chief among them one with traits of a steel type, and Aria couldn't help but smirk at that knowledge. "Fortunate for me. Not so much for others, though..." she muttered, then looked back at the boy as he got ready to leave. She considered saying something to him, but before she could he once again had to act the tough guy and test another trainer. "...Better get going..." she whispered to herself, then shifted the duffel bag she carried before walking off into the darkness. She'd try the path herself before dragging anyone else along.
