Belrea, it was so new! The sounds. The smells. Heck even the people were all new! It was true that the young Matori had met up with someone who had lived here, but they departed ways upon landing. Leaving Neryssa and her sister alone, now Neryssa had broken free to explore some herself. With her pack slung over a shoulder, she looked around with wide golden eyes. Her ear fins flicked slightly at the new sounds that assaulted them. "Wow, this place is completely different from home. Ain't it Lygs?" Neryssa said still looking around, spinning on a heel. "Where should we start?"
Well that question had fallen on deafs ears as the critter, normally glued to her back, had skittered away. Turning sharply as she had reached back to touch the Maglardilla as a sign of comfort to find it wasn't there. A face full of delight turned to one of worry. Where had it gone? Lygs never wandered off... Perhaps it was all the new things?
"Lovely, Lygs, where have you gone?!" Neryssa shouted as she tried to see past some that were around. Some heads turning in her direction as she shouted, making her shrink back a bit before darting off in hopefully the direction she hoped her critter had gone.
At this point the Maglardilla had skittered away from it's owner. All this newness was getting to be a little much for it. While he had always stayed with Neryssa, but he felt that the Maroti was taking too long in one place. He wanted someplace to get used to these new surroundings. Somewhere high, the ship had been high, but they had left the docks days ago. Trees, that was the best place to go, really high trees. Jointed legs shuffled him forward and down a set of stairs as compound eyes looked around for a tree or something to climb into. Not knowing that he was headed for a strange boy walking on his hands.

Torva was oblivious to the strange creature coming his way until the beasts that were flanking him set to reacting. Svana gave a honking sound, stomping her feet a bit in a restless manner while Eoyolin set to trying to climb up onto the back of the upside down boy. He blinked a couple times, shifted in place, and did his best to keep from toppling despite the reactions of the pair. Giving Svana a glance he asked, "What? What is it, girl?"
Her honks continued until he glanced forward... and spotted the strange... thing. He gave a bit of a squeak, flailed for a moment, and then toppled over. At least he was able to catch himself with his feet, leaving himself for a moment in an arch before rolling over, making sure not to squish the averin. As he lay there on his stomach on the stone walkway he watched the strange thing that was approaching him.
"What... what is that? I don't think I've ever seen one before..." He murmured, wondering if he should try to catch it. If it were some weird new species the others in the troupe would surely want to see it! As he got closer he said in hopes of getting its attention, "Hey there... strange.. thing. Where are you from?"

So many sounds assaulted the critter as it skittered down the stair and straight towards the hand walking boy. The actions of the other animals made Lygs stop and jump back. His tail flicking forward in a defensive position over his back. Lygs wasn't too sure of the boy, nor of the critters that were with him. This land was too new and it was scaring the wits out of him.
--------------
Looking around, Neryssa wished she had kept a tighter hold on her companion. He was the only thing she had when she was away from her sister. Who knew where it had gotten to. Passing a set of steps down, she stopped a moment and looked down. There was a boy laying on the ground with two strange animals with him. But it wasn't too much the boy she was looking at, but the critter that was standing a stair or two away from the three.
"Lygs!" Neryssa shouted to get his attention, it worked as always. quickly down the steps she went to get a hold of the Maglardilla so it wouldn't harm anyone, her pack forgotten where she dropped it half way down the stairs. "So sorry about that. These lands are new and he got spooked." She stammered quickly as Lygs twisted in her grip the latch onto her clothing with its hook like feet.
Now that she got a look at the boy on the ground, he was certainly different from the woman she had met when the flying ships landed at the festival back home. His hair was light colored, even his crystals were different from those back home. Tilting her head to one side, she just stood there silent, not sure what to say... Now.

Shifting himself so that he was kneeling the ground he starred at the strange beast that seemed to get all up in arms. He would attribute it likely to Svana who was still making quite the ruckus. Reaching out he wrapped an arm around her and pulled her back a few steps, "Svana, that's enough. You're being too loud and making the strange critter upset." He told her, trying to soothe her into calming down. As he worked on Svana the other little creature set to climbing up and onto his back, chirping quiet complaints all the while.
Torva chuckle and said, "You two be nice." He said before turning to look up at the one speaking to him. He starred for a moment before he pushed to his feet, eyes going wide, "Oh! Wow, hello!" He greeted the one in front of him in an awkward and excited manner. She was... definitely not from around here, which made him rather interested in her. He was planning on trying to travel to the new lands after all and here he was lucky enough to get to meet up with someone from there!
He knew instantly that he was starring but how could he not? She was so colorful and interesting looking! If she was an example of those from Tendaji he found himself that much more eager to visit the place then ever.

She had expected to land on the ground, but something else eased her fall. Blinking a moment, she remembered standing before a strange boy, looking down, her face darkened as she blushed. "OH, oh my, I'm so sorry." She said stumbling to get off him, "Are, are you alright?"
Neryssa scrambled move, Lygs having released his hold and stood on the stiar watching. His head tilted to one side, though still not all too keen on what was happening, or where he was now. The flight over to these new lands had him frightened. Sometimes she wondered if she should have left him in Matori. Neryssa started at the boy for a moment as he called her pretty, the thought brought her face a darker color once again. Was he just saying that? or did he mean it?
"Yeah, I'm alright. Thanks.. for breaking my fall, I hope I didn't hurt you too badly." She said concerned. "Lygs is hardly ever this spooked. I suppose he is just not used to all the people and stuff. He's used to being where there are a lot of trees."

Torva gave a little clap of his hands before he said, "Great! We should head that way then." He was eager to get to the park where he could do some various practice on softer ground. It wasn't as easy to do when one was on the roads because one could easily get hurt when they fell. He was lucky in that he'd stayed in pretty good condition despite taking a pair of tumbles already today... not that he was complaining, especially given that the second fall was with a girl. Hard to be upset over that.
"It's really nice to meet you Neryssa, I'm Torva." He said, then motioned to the beasts with him, "This big girl here is Svana, and the little guy is Eayolin, and the park is not too far from here. Let me lead the way."
He turned around so that he was in front of Neryssa, but walking backwards, watching her as he went, "So what brought you here to Belrea? Anything exciting? Or just curious about the place?"
