Appearance: Houri is on the taller side with darker skin and fiery orange hair. Her eyes are a deep teal while her crystals are the brightest green in color. The crystals are arranged around her collarbone almost like a necklace with a big on right in the center. On her forehead is one sharp crystal that almost seems like a horn with a smaller crystal on either side. She also has a crystal under each eye and a few on the top of her legs, around her hips, and more down her spine.
Hairstyle: {x1} - Just like that, short and curly with some frizz.

Personality:
Houri is someone that has a rather intimidating aura. Her gaze is often cold and her lips pursed into a narrow line. When she lays down something she expects it to done and if anyone dares to backtalk to her then they better expect something in return. She's also the one to simply raise an eyebrow if someone is attempting to joke around and is an expert at keeping a straight face whenever someone is trying to make her laugh. Admittedly it also makes it hard for her to have many friends and as a result she's more a loner than a group member. Which is fine by her since Houri prefers to work alone in most situations.
She's very dedicated, however, and loyal to those who earn her trust. In a sense she can be motherly and takes care of those who she is indebted to. If you're her friend then you don't have to worry because come hell or high water you can rely on Houri to come through for you. She's very determined after all and will push through any obstacle to try and accomplish the task at hand.
Houri can wear herself down by not taking a break and at times needs others to force her to take a rest. She gets so caught up in duty and in taking care of those that she cares about that taking care of herself slips her mind often. Even then it's hard for her to truly relax as she's always wanting to be prepared for anything and any possible moment.
History:
Houri's parents were both raised in the Sector of Leisure. Her mother, Myti, was a singer while her father, Ignis, was an athlete. It was when Ignis came to the theater with several of his friends that he fell in love with the radiant woman. Immediately the man decided that he would take home this woman and have a future with her. After being teased by his friends for his determination Ignis found himself coming to performance after performance until he finally got Myti to agree to a date.
Just one drink and that's it.
Of course 'one drink' with Ignis was not enough. After their first date Myti found herself warming up to the goofy guy. His humor cheered up her life while her singing stirred his heart. Eventually both got their parents' blessing and got married. Settling in Velmon, Ignis laid down on his athletics when his wife had their first child, Houri. As their first child both parents doted on her and spent many years learning about parenthood with their little girl. But as they became content and as her parents felt comfortable enough with expanding their home came another decision - more children. And so ten years after Houri came her brothers Olyn and Vykor.
As Houri got old enough to help around the house she began to take more and more care of her younger brothers as her parents began to work away from home more. Because of this she's got a rather stern approach to life and is mature compared to others her age. It's a necessity, after all, in raising two rambunctious younger brothers.
She doesn't know what her future goals are yet, but for now she's content just staying at home and spending time with her family.
Family:
Myti - Singer and musician. Myti often sings more than she plays, but when she does her instrument of choice is a harp or any stringed instrument. Just like her music she is angelic and super sweet about everything. Though admittedly she does flail when flustered - something that her husband finds out easily enough.
Ignis - Just as goofy as he is dashing, Ignis has a flare for the dramatics. Had he not been an athlete the man would have easily fit into a theater. Still, he's a good cook and acts more as the house keeper than his wife who is often away with performances.
Olyn & Vykor - Two youngling lightnings who enjoy tinkering already. They also enjoy play fighting and baking mud pies in the kitchen. Needless to say they definitely keep Houri on her toes.
