Alright, so I made Nyx with an image in mind of what she should look like and what made her tick, but being a dork, I had no plan for her. So now I have a girl with this great personality, and nothing to do with it. That simply won't do!
My thought was maybe to have her follow the bandit class, but upon thinking further on it, I'm not so sure that's really very...Nyx-y. Sure, she's a bit of a jerk (scratch that she's a b***h lol), but she's not an inherently bad person. I just don't see her holding up hard working people and taking their money and belongings from them. She has a sense of justice, plus her parents were respected warriors: they wouldn't have raised her that way. So if she wasn't a bandit, what else is there? It's not like we have a plethora of bad-guys to fight in Tendaji (I've never even heard staff mention anything about like, CRIME in this world, let alone raiders), and there's no war at the moment either. Who's she gonna fight?
So a thought occurred to me; maybe she's not a bandit? Maybe... she's a treasure hunter? Laura Crofting out in the wilderness, Indian Jonesing through some ruins? That honestly seems like it may be more in line with her personality. Plus, I could still have her know how to use a weapon, and defend herself, but without all the nasty stats and reqs that come with being a battle class. I'd just solo that stuff out instead! And, maybe as a part of that: she could be a con-woman? Swindling idiots out of their cash? That honestly sounds more like something I could see her doing. And maybe this way, I could have a good reason to send her over to Belrea, to check out all their sweet s**t!
So, what I'm going to need from YOU: plotz! Maybe she needs a partner in crime, a compadre for spelunking with? Someone that's got more of a head for numbers and history, more patience? Or, maybe the opposite of that! Someone who's more hot headed, and ready to fight at a moment's notice. I am simply casting my net at the moment, anything is game! But bear in mind: she's a strong willed girl who gets what she wants, so if you're gonna survive Nyx, you'll need a stiff spine. I'd be thrilled for it to develop into a romantic relationship, and perhaps, with the right person, she could be convinced to give having children a try.
Like I said above, I'm getting lesbian vibes from her, but that's not set in stone yet or anything! So I will accept all interested parties as possibilities at this moment. Basically, if you are looking for someone to have a great, spunky, quick-and-spicy dynamic with, Nyx is your girl! |
