She chuckled. "It'll take us a moment to gain her trust, love. Right now we need to be careful moving her." she was quick to use her knowledge of minor medicine to at least clean the wound gently. When she was done the female was quick to help Ai try to fashion a carrier for the large beast.

"It will have to be a sledge, even I am not strong enough to pick this ol' girl up, I feel so sorry for her Myr, I think it was another snaptrotter or a Zanteer that bit her. Seems the worst kind of cruelty to bite a soon to be mother."

They would have snaptrotter babies soon and he knew that he wanted babies of his own as soon as possible as well. He kissed Myr, "After we get her settled in do you think you would like to start on our own family?"

She smiled as they finished the sled and got the beast on it. With a hum she kissed her partner before they started to make their way back to their makeshift home. After getting her into a spot where she would be hidden and safe. She turned to kiss him. "Mmmm, in a bit...have to call a healer for her."

She walked to the Messenger Kinfa, writing a quick note she sent the bird to the nearest villiage. She knew of a healer that was adept at helping beasts there. They also knew her Papa. With a smile she walked back to Ai. "Now we wait and then we'll start for our own. She's a sign...an expecting mother...hmmm?"

Ai kissed her pert little mouth, "Yes, most definitely."

The healer came saw to the beast, Ai made sure that the snaptrotter was as comfortable as he could make her, Myr might have some more ideas after all she was a female.

"So gorgeous any more ideas about the snaptrotter or should we just leave the poor girl alone for a while?" He waggled his eyebrows at her. This was the place he was supposed to be free and at peace.

Myrida chuckled as she looked the female beast over. She wasn't going anywhere...and a message from her network along with the Healer told her that a Beast Master would be in touch with her in two days. She turned her focus to her partner. "Alright...time for us...but...we have to make sure to check on her. We don't need her getting hurt more now do we?"

He took her hand, "No of course not. We will check on her of course and take care of her until she has healed and if we are lucky she is close to laying those eggs. Maybe she will stay too once she is better." Familiars were interesting creatures that way.
He stood and picked her up lightly. "Come my love let us go."
