[Ergo War]

Exam Island

___A tropical island constructed specifically for use in the exams. It features a small resort-like area a short walk away from the docks. The island features beaches with soft white sand, a lush forest, and shallow waters perfect for swimming. The northern shores are rocky and teeming with fish. Food is offered three times a day at 6 A.M., noon, and 6 P.M., with a wealth of dishes based on local fish recipes available. There is a small library of Jutsu scrolls up to D-Rank available should anyone want to train during their downtime. On the far side of the island is a stadium, seemingly still under construction.


Exam Rules

___Upon arriving at the island, examinees are informed that they are to be participating in fights in a week's time. However, due to the odd number of participants, a variety of different match types have been put together. Examinees will have downtime, ending on Sunday, May 7th, in which it is suggested they get to know allies and opponents alike, and work out strategies or train.

• 2v2, Coastal Waterfall: Xion Akagami & Kisuke Shinsetsu vs. Hatsu Hattori & Raichi Umemiya.
  
• 2v2, Forest Area: Kagerou Uchiha & Yuna Mugen vs. Unki Amano & Shinji Gami.
  
  
  Rules
  
  This will operate like a standard elimination tournament, with the winners of the first round moving on to the second. In the case of the 2v2 match-ups, the winning team moves on but the combatants may be split up for the second round. Additional rules are found below.
  
• Examinees may withdraw at any time. Intentionally attacking and harming a combatant who has withdrawn results in failure. A character who has withdrawn may utilize the resources on the island and visit the Broadcasting Headquarters, but may not go to other exam threads.
  
• Killing an opponent results in failure, regardless of intent.
  
• Summoned creatures and pets do not count as separate combatants from their owners/contractors and may be used freely.
  
• This rounds runs until May 21st. Those who are not in their battles by May 14th are disqualified so that we can keep things moving at a reasonable pace.

EMERGENCY BROADCAST

All examinees are to report to the docks where they arrived to evacuate the island. The exams are being abandoned in the face of a powerful threat. Save yourselves and save your peers! Make sure as many people survive as possible!


Rules

As an emergency situation is unfolding, all standard rules of combat are eliminated. Participants have three directives:

1. Survive.
   
2. Help their peers survive.
   
3. Evacuate.
   
   The ships leave on Sunday, May 28th. Quote Ergo War in your threads so the situation can develop.

EMERGENCY BROADCAST: UPDATE

The only functional ship has left and the geography of the island appears to be changing. All remaining examinees are to leave as soon as physically possible. Anyone still in the area by Sunday, June 4th will probably suffer a terrible fate. If you're waiting on someone to post and it's been three days or more, skip them until they return.
