	Round 1 information: - The winner of this duel will be guaranteed the rank of 'Corporal'. - The winner is the lion/ness who rolls the highest number across 5 turns. An extra turn must be rolled by each player to break a tie. 	There was something to be said about wanting to prove yourself and make your mother proud. It was half the reason Suditi had become a soldier in the first place - the other being that it just felt right to her. Just like trying to rise in the ranks at long last felt right at this point in time. It wasn't that she'd lacked ambition before - she just hadn't seen any opportunities until now. So she'd signed up - the only Hongshan blooded lion in the pride that she knew of to do so. It was an important distinction for her. Of course she'd been born and raised in the Motoujamii, but where her blood had come from meant something to her and she wanted to prove she was just as good as any old blooded Motoujamii. 	Vatra smirked as she entered the fighting arena, all sleek muscle and confidence. She felt more than ready. She'd been bred for this--her parents had expected to raise soldiers, and (for the most part) they'd gotten them. She'd trained hard and worked hard, in accordance with the high expectations placed upon her and her own ambitions. The insufferable attitude she bore was...perhaps a side effect. The large lioness nodded briefly in greeting to her opponent, ruby eyes glinting in anticipation. She dodged away from Suditi's swing, answering with a swift and aggressive tap before digging her feet into the sand to gain some distance.
