Jua'mkal approched the boarder warrily. He was fairly certain this was the right place. Judging from the rumours he had picked up as he had travailed closer through the roguelands. Most of the locals.. including lions, cheetahs and leopards along side many others, steared clear from this area. Apparently to linger too close was to risk being taken in as a slave, or what they had called 'thralls'. But this was where his father had come from, so Jua took a deep breath and let out as louda roar as he could muster. According to the leopard he had met a week ago, one had to challange their way into this pride through battle with a current member. All he had to do was roar and one of them would come fight him. Having no formal training he worried about loosing, but apparently he could keep trying until he won, or he could leave. He wouldn't be taken as a thrall if, or more likely when, he lost...
Fenrir moved slowly along the boarder. His wounds from the last viking still bothered him, though they were healing well enough. Certainly nothing to complai about or even to bother the priestess' with. But it did make him limp slightly, as he favoured his left side and the torn muscles there. He was rather hoping for a quiet day but then the roar of a challenger broke the silence of the boarder forest and he sighed heavily.
