Personality: While relatively unburdened by the stress of her past now that she's resolved her inner conflicts with her family, Hodari is still trying to find a normal routine. She is left with a lot of uncertainty except in one place: She has strong family values and she will do anything to protect her family. Great Lion watch over the poor soul that threatens her loved ones.
Background: Hodari was born during the beginning of the rebellion against Shangyue. She became a Guard so that she could better protect her loved ones, but her mother encouraged her to aim higher and soon it became Hodari's dream to kill Shangyue herself! You can imagine her frustration when it was not her, but her pacifist sister to make the kill! She became distant and broody, but instead of getting over herself and coming home to be he best a Guard she could be, she came home with seven cubs. Personality: Quiet in speech and temper, Kimya is happy to make friends, even in a pride that she's still trying to adjust to. Still, with that in mind, she's a relatively easy going lion who enjoys the attention she gets from males, which seems to be quite a bit (considering the gods that she has plots with xD )
Background:Formerly of the Swamplands Pride, Kimya thought she knew everything she wanted to be in that swamp. She was ready to stay in that swamp forever, to become a Ghost and to spook wary travelers that came by her pridelands. Instead, the pride disbanded and she was left lost and confused. Finally, she found a pride that was traveling through the Rogue Lands. They called themselves the Nergui and they were savage creatures who seemed content to fight and snarl at one another, but they also seemed to have a strong inner value system. She joined as a shadow warrior, something similar to what she may have been had her pride not disbanded. She's happy there and won't leave. |

Personality: Reserved and awkward, Yoru isn't very sociable and feels like he can't really relate to anyone. His best friend is his mother and while he was once close to his twin sister, Miyako, he now feels abandoned for the lion Belial or whatever his name is. He needs actual friends, but he just doesn't know how to make them yet.
Background: Born to a high class member of the Mwezi and a rogue, Yoru and his siblings were the result of a fling that wasn't ever meant to happen. While his upbringing was a little tricky, since his father tried to keep in touch with his cubs, but Hodari wasn't having any of it. As a result, Yoru doesn't feel very comfortable with the notion of his father hanging around, Hodari's feelings having rubbed off on him effectively. Now grown enough to understand what really happened, Yoru feels awkward about the whole thing and tries to keep his head down and just do his job to his pride as a Hunter. There's not much else he can do, really. |

Personality: Kind-natured and with a good sense of humor, Zamba would rather look on the bright side rather then look at the puddle half empty, so to speak. While there will always be some heartache in his chosen profession, there's no point in having a healer with a foul bedside manner, right? That's just silly.
Background: Zamba was born to two kind parents. His mother was a fierce creature and his father a humble lion. How on earth the two produced a cub who wanted to do nothing but spend his time taking care of others was beyond them. He traveled with them for a time, until he came across a leopard who was a healer herself. His parents encouraged him to follow his passion and while it was a tearful parting, for he so loved his family, he did as they bid and was tutored by the leopard, Mkali, for many years. He grew from adolescence into adulthood by her side and grew very fond of her over the years.
Unfortunately, it appeared he grew too fond of her, for at the first sign of affection he showed with her, she grew distant and eventually told him he could no longer be taught under her. She vanished a night later and Zamba was left on his own.
He wandered aimlessly after that, without trying to reach out to anyone in particular. The only way he met Busara was by literally crashing into her. Perhaps she had seen the distant, heartbroken look in his eyes when she approached him, but once their paws tangled, she must have seen a lot of bewilderment. Still, she heard him out and they laughed about it and set to traveling together. When they came upon her daughter and the Indlovukati his purpose was realized once again when he found that a Healer position was available within the pride. He took it in stride and was immensely happy to do so. |

Personality: Koura likes to feel like she's special, even just a little. When she was in the Suka'Fumo, she gained this by being a Lady and when it was stripped from her, it nearly destroyed her. Rather than searching for redemption, she left to find that special feeling in another pride. Now that she's found it, she's significantly happier and wants nothing more to prove herself as a good person in her new beginning here.
Background: Koura was once easy-going and jovial. She was a Lady in the Suka'Fumo, revered for her violet coat. Then in came a new king who started sending away lions from the pride who were not truly purple and Koura was one of the first to go, chased off when the king deemed her coat pink! Bitter, she joined the rebellion, helped chase the Suka'Fumo out of the forest, but rather than feel happy, she just felt worse. Now, the Suka'Fumo has returned to the forest and rather than stay in the pride where she did so much wrong, Koura left her forest home and traveled through the rogue lands before coming to the jungle where the Indlovukati resided. Now, she makes her life there as a Warrior, happy to have found someplace where she is looked up to, just by being female. |

Personality: When she still lived with her sisters, Epimetheus, or more commonly, Epi, tried her best to keep her head in the sand and her opinions to herself. With Dionysus always at the front of the group and making all the large decisions like leaving Athena behind or living indefinitely as a group of rogues, Epi felt as though it is impossible to speak out, unless it is in a statement of support for her sister. Ashamed with herself for not having any backbone, Epi had become brilliant at coming up with comforting excuses to null the pain, even if it's just a little. However, once she discovered the truth of everything, Epi lost it. Determined not to hide away anymore, she left Dionysus and her sisters behind and set out on her own journey to find Athena and apologize to him.
Background:Epi and her siblings were an unplanned and unwanted litter had by a lioness that did not wish to be bothered or bogged down by cubs. Their father is unknown to them, and they only remember their mother as a brief member of their lives before she disappeared. As soon as the cubs learned to hunt (not even hunt well) their mother left.
Led to believe by Dionysus that Athena was the reason their mother left, the sisters abandoned him to the rogue lands. His clingy nature supposedly drove her away from her children. In actuality, Athena is the only reason the lioness didn't leave them all to die. He made her feel like her offspring really did need her and love her.
Dionysus eventually went out searching for their mother and found out the truth. Now everything that she and her sisters based their opinion of their brother on has been turned upside down. Upon Dion's return to her sisters, the truth was revealed and Epi blew up. She demanded that her sisters go track down their brother to apologize, but when none of them came forward, she set off on her own! She would own up to her mistakes, even if her sisters wouldn't! |
