A tropical slice of paradise meant to give Team Rocket's administration somewhere to relax; however, construction has been delayed following conflict with local wildlife. Though abandoned by workers, the project itself has not been discarded. Many things of value still remain on the island, and the Organization has no intention of leaving them behind.
Yet who is brave or foolish enough to take on such a task? Why, Academy Students, of course! With everything to prove, young trainers flock to this place to put their skills to the test; but will they simply complete their mission, or go beyond the call of duty?
Either way the road ahead is fraught with peril. Hopefully the beginning of your journey will not also be it's end.

Rules
- There are three sections to the Island, each containing three different types of pokemon, Common, Uncommon, & Rare. To reach each of the three rings, you must post ten times, and each time that you post you must roll 1d20.
- If you Roll any number higher than 10 ...you will encounter a pokemon to fight & defeat. If you roll a 1 you will experience have to battle the Guardian of that area.
- HP does not reset/heal after battle, so each battle you fight will take a greater toll on your pokemon.
- Once your pokemon's HP reaches 0 your pokemon will faint/ If your pokemon's HP is knocked below -7 your pokemon will die. Thus, knowing when to leave a battle is your best chance of survival, and avoiding unnecessary conflict can save your life.
- To capture a pokemon, you must roll 1d20. The number needs to be higher than the pokemon's Capture Rate.
- You must roll 1 D4 in your first post to determine which of the three paths you will end up on.
The Frying Pan The first thing you notice as you land upon the mushroom rock is how hard it is to tell where the earth meets the sky. The air is clear, and you can see for miles over the flat dusty expanse. If you squint, you may notice strange glassy or dark patches, but for the most part, the world is whiter than a bone and twice as lifeless. The atmosphere is strangely charged-- the air picks up as you make your way down, as if ushering you forward. This place is not for humans. Keep moving.
It seems the pilot decided to drop you off in an unusual spot. Surrounded by leaves, bark, and a vertical drop that would make even a seasoned trainer uneasy, you find yourself nestled in the bows of a great tree. Yet this is no ordinary tree! It is the king of this domain, a tree of such colossal proportions you can walk along the many interconnecting branches like a pathway. Practically tall as a mountain, with a trunk as thick as your average high rise, the tree provides a clear view of the distant resort....and little else thanks to a sea of trees far below. You've no choice but to make your way down to the bottom; but tread carefully. The drop isn't the only danger around here. Many Pokemon call this place home, and are unlikely to take kindly to trespassers.
Everlast Summit Your ride drops you right on the peak of the island's tallest mountain. If you look down, you can see the wilderness, and perhaps the resort if you strain your vision. But for now, what lies before you is a steep rocky path coated with ice and snow. If you inhale deep and exhale, you'll see your breath pour out in white swirls. Is your respiration labored? The air seems thin. Perhaps you should find your way down the mountain before the oppressive atmosphere takes a toll.
Onyxia flew over head in the helicopter. Ordo curled up onto her lap as she looked out the window. She could hear the pilot shout at her over the headset about getting close to the Resort. Grabbing her Rocket backpack she got ready for the zip ride down. "GET US CLOSE TO THE CENTER. I WANT TO FIND THIS STAFF MEMBER QUICKLY." She was shouting over the roars of the engine. Ordo had woken up and climbed into the bag for the time being. Upon hearing this was her drop the rope had been deployed. "WATCH FOR MY FLARE! I ONLY HAVE ONE SO LET'S MAKE IT COUNT!" With that and thumbs up from the co-pilot she slid down the rope to begin her Rescue Mission. "Don't worry Ordo, we'll find you a friend."
My did young Onyxia have a vivid imagination, and possibly a slight concussion from that bump to the head she got entering the Helicopter at the designated site. There was no backpack and definitely no rope. Instead in true Akumu fashion she was literally shoved out of the helicopter by the large Braviary serving as the Co-Pilot. The only positive was the fact that there wasn't much of a drop. The drop off point was already one of the highest points available so there wasn't much concern about there being "room" to get close.
When the young trainer did land, post ten foot drop, she'd find herself colliding with a nice thick layer of snow. Seemed the Pilot had chosen to drop her off on "Everlast Summit" the tallest mountain on the island. Onyxia would have to work her way down from here. No one was stupid to come someplace this cold looking for a rescue!
Onyxia landed in the snow. The highest point of the island to work herself down from. No matter she was excited and began to move, the snow not helping at all in her search. "Okay... the person would not be in the mountain. At least not this high up." Onyxia slowly made her way down the peak to a snow cover path, one probably used for hiking. "Wish I had a map.... really wish I had a map." Thankful for her choice in functionality over style with her out fit she began to walk the path.
[Before I forget to actually tell you this, it will take you 10 travel posts to reach the next area. Travel posts are like the one you just did while rolling for an encounter. Interactions with Pokemon, including battles, or events, will not count towards your post count. You are currently at 1/10 posts. You'll need to keep track of that on your own.] Barely into the mountain, and Onyxia would already find herself assaulted....by more snow. Just off the path, up on a ledge, was a Bunnelby frantically digging through the snow; sending it flying everywhere in the process. Seemed it was looking for something. Food, shelter, a good time? Who could tell. Either way it hadn't taken particular notice of the young trainer, and so it seemed this was one encounter Onyxia could safely avoid....or not. The choice was her's.
Onyxia looked around and spotted Bunnelby. It was a decent pokemon but not one she wanted. She wanted her next Pokemon, if any, to be a Sneasel like her Father or a Sandchrew like her Mom. Either of those would have been good for her. "I know what I want." She was determined for one of those. Slipping pass the Bunnelby she kept going down the trail. Looking for any signs of a person running through the snow.
Trafalgar could catch a glimpse of the Paradise Resort which was approaching quickly. He checked his belongings and made sure he had all his items, particularly the Homing Beacon and Signal Flare. "Hey, pilot, sir, please, watch out for my flare. I was only given one." Trafalgar said, reminding the pilot. The last thing he wanted to do was become stranded on this island. If that happened..someone would have to come rescue him, if he was lucky enough.
Trafalgar surveyed the area. The area was too wide, he couldn't get a good look at the resort's ecosystem with his limited time. "Alright, uh...I'm ready for...safe arrival?" He braced himself mentally and physically as he looked out of the helicopter, sure to begin his mission at any time. This was it. The beginning, or the end.

(Forgot to mention that if you don't roll anything on the encounter list just keep going/rolling. Also, and again, keep track of your posts. I'm not doing it for you.)
And for a moment the boy would likely believe his end was near. Rather than lowering them to a safe distance for the boy to jump out of the Helicopter, Trafalgar would instead find himself rather abruptly in open air. While he was looking out, the Noctowl had moved from it's seat and shoved him out the window. The young trainer was now free-falling, and after several collisions with leaves and a none too comfortable landing on rough bark, the child would find himself in a rather odd situation. Having fallen through the foliage at the top he was now standing on a branch....one several times wider than he was tall. Somehow he'd ended up in a tree of gargantuan size and dizzying height. Odder still was that it seemed he could probably walk down from here. Well probably less of a walk and more of a Hike. He definitely wasn't going to find a Worker up here. He'd need to work his way down if he hoped to find what he was after...
Onyxia kept walking down the snowy grounds. In all she was adapting well to the snow. "I hope we find that person Ordo." She looked at her Litleo and gave him a small hug as they walked. It helped that Ordo was a fire type, kept her a little warm. "Okay Buddy, let's find us some new friends."
Trafalgar couldn't believe it, he was falling straight through the air, no parachute or anything! The Noctowl could have at least dropped him off. However, he landed...high...in a giant tree. The branches of the tree were so large that he would have plenty of room to walk. "Okay, Come on out! Trafalgar said calmly as he pressed on his Pokeball to let Trust out. A red light bursted from the Pokeball and Trust appeared in front of him again. "Hey Trust, I'm going to need your help here...We got...dropped off someplace weird." He shrugged his shoulders and gave a slight smile. "Well, let's get down from here." Trafalgar said as they started to make their way down from the tree.

A 'friend' wasn't exactly what the girl would find in this cold and frozen place, but it was certainly new. As she stepped along the trail icy chains would rise from beneath the snow, baring both her way forward and her way back. It would seem she'd been left without retreat...and there was reason for that.
Rising from the snow like a beast from the depths, the girl would be come face to face with the fearsome visage of a Crygonal. Even to an amateur it would be clear at a glance however, that this Pokemon was far too large or powerful to be 'normal' around here. ">Human....<" It bellowed, icy mist wafting from it's maw ">....for the crime of trespassing...<" The Ice-type drew closer ">....you. shall. die!<" Indeed this was no ordinary Pokemon. It was among the largest and strongest in the entire area, the protector of the mountain and it's inhabitants, this was the Area Guardian!
Without a word further the Pokemon would move to attack, the 'chains' coming out of it's mouth lengthening and stretching forward to Bind her Litleo. It's objective was to kill them both, but the little cub was clearly the bigger threat in this scenario.
Barely a few steps into the area and already Trafalgar would be greeted by a Pokemon. Wasn't he just lucky? Seated on an upper branch was a Chatot, and stretched out before it was the only way to reach the next section of the path. Whistling slightly, the Pokemon would twist it's head before saying in clear english "To cross the bridge of doom....bridge of doom...you must answer me....these questions three" The Pokemon then whistled. Seemed he was repeating something he'd heard elsewhere.
"What....is your Name?" It asked.
"What....is your Quest?" It chirped.
"What....is the air speed velocity of an unladen Swellow?"
Weren't Chatot just amazing? Amble to perfectly mimic even the human tongue! Though it may not have fully understood what it was actually saying. It seemed to get the gist.
