Poni Meadow is a small meadow area surrounding a waterfall to the north west of Poni Plains. Purple flowers grow in abundance, and many nectar drinking pokemon flourish here. It is said that the purple nectar from these flowers is what gives Poni's native sensu forme oricorio their beautiful elegant violet colors. This area has a winding cliffside path and allows for you to climb a tree to get to Resolution Cave.

The groups next destination was that of a meadow-like area. It wasn't entirely flower filled, but vines hung from tall thick tree branches with purple flowers growing from them. This area had a sort of 'zen' feel to it, unlike the other meadows. Mave landed at the lower portion of the meadow, letting Tay and Avikna from her back. Avikna stayed close, as she watched Tay run to a nearby pond to look at the floating lily pads. Nepherit herself kept an eye on the sky, hoping to see Ookoth once more. Mave caught on to this and angled her own head upward, knocking the little pup off balance. She turned with a grin lowering her head down to Nepherit's height. 'Keep your head in the clouds and you might get hurt.' Mave advised. Nepherit narrowed her eyes some, more out of curiosity. 'That dragon from earlier. was that my dad?' She pondered. Mave grinned, the pup still believed in her lie. 'Sure was.' Nepherit's eyes widened. 'Wow! I really want to be like him now.' She chuckled, hopping up and down several times. Mave couldn't believe the little pup still believed her lie.

Mave shook her head, letting the pup go about her fantasizing. Meanwhile, Avikna had found a place nearby to rest while she watched Tay and Elias play around the pond. The duo were quite the team. They matched one another so perfectly, it made Avikna wonder about Tay's future with the Rowlet. She'd never seen, nor heard of the grass-type before coming to this region. Must of been because she was so locked in on her own goals she hadn't really given many other regions outside her spectrum the time of day. Deciding after the egg hunt to come back to Alola for Tay, Avikna thought about taking on her own set of challenges with the new region. Perhaps try a new outlook on her self and her team? Wandering about the pond, in her search for another egg, Tay noticed something within the water. Stuck between a few rocks she noticed what appeared to be another one of those 'Thunderstones'. Leaning out over the water she didn't quite see any clear way of obtaining it, besides leaping across to the rocks. Her balance was pretty decent, so she hadn't expected any danger to come from jumping out there. Her first jump lead her to the rocks with relative ease, but as she leaned forward, her foot slipped and down she plummeted into the water. Avikna was already on her way to the pond before Tay had slipped in, and was ready to leap in after her, but then several dark shadows appeared, forming together to make one big shadow. It then lifted Tay up out of the water, and tossed her back to shore. Avikna rushed to Tay's side, sitting her upright so she could cough out the water she'd swallows. 'Y-yuck." She voiced, spitting into the grass nearby. "What were you thinking?" Avikna spoke, anger in her tone. "You could of been seriously hurt, or worse dead!" Tay looked up, eyes wide, but before she could protest she began coughing up more water.

From the water, the shadow appeared. What the shadow was, appeared to be one huge whale-like Pokemon. Avikna tightened her body, leaning over Tay to protect her. But then the whale burst. Small chunks rained into the pond, eventually leaving only one single fish in it's wake. The tiny fish floated forward, peering past Avikna. Avikna leaned away, letting the fish float forward. It moved to Tay's cheek, nibbling it some. The teen, still coughing up water began to laugh, which actually helped her clear her throat. Avikna leaned back more, rather flabbergasted. Tay was like a magnet for Pokemon it seemed. Specifically the ones found around this region. "Hahaha,.. s-stop, stop!" Tay laugh-coughed, pushing the fish away. It complied, floating back some to give Tay room to sit up. The brunette looked down at the ground she sat up, soaked. "I'm sorry, Avikna." Tay muttered. "I just.." "Just nothing. Do I have to remind you every time you do something stupid not to do it?" Tay's eyes remained down. 'Come on now, that's a bit harsh.' Mave voiced, stepping up to the two girls. 'She's not the only one who's done reckless things in the past.' Avikna narrowed her gaze. She couldn't deny however... Mave was right. Avikna took in a deep breath, looking back to Tay. "Whatever the reason you had for risking your life, you should thank this Pokemon for saving it." Avikna motioned. The fish bobbed in the air, seemingly happy it was acknowledged. Tay looked up, just barely, just enough to see the fish. "Thank you." She replied The fish floated forward, nibbling again at Tay's cheek, sending the girl into another fit of chuckles. Behind Tay's chocolate coloured skin, a redness began to push through. She was laughing so hard, Avikna couldn't tell if the teen was going to pass out or burst from all the tickling. Then suddenly, the fish stopped it's nibbling and swam away, back into the water. Tay sat up slowly, whipping away tears from her eyes. Her smile vanished though as soon as she met Avikna's gaze. Avikna let out a sigh, looking towards the pond. Maybe she had been to harsh? Well, she wasn't going to back peddle now, not again. Tay needed to learn this lesson. The fish from earlier appeared once more, this time with a few friends it seemed. They worked in unison to carry a familiar stone and an egg with them. Setting both down before Tay, the little fish seemed to say good-bye to his friends, then floated over towards Tay, trying to get at her cheek again to nibble it. Tay managed to get it to nibble at her hand instead. "Do you want to come with me or something?" Tay asked. The fish continued to nibble. "Alright. You know.. You kind of remind me of Tynamo." Tay stated. grabbing her bag, that rested nearby she returned to Mave's warmth, poking out only a hand to reveal a ball. The fish didn't even hesitate, bopping the ball to draw itself inside.

He couldn’t help himself, and move onto the next story he’d read about. It was about a boy named Gold. The boy in the story, a supposed dex holder, was rather eccentric. He was bold, and didn’t really seem to care what others thought of him. He had a bit of sass to him, so much so a girl named Crystal seemed to have to set him straight a few times. However, that’s another story for another time. Moving on with this story, Gold met his rival Silver by accident. Sure later in the story they seemed to become best friends, though some even speculate that perhaps they even had a romantic relationship down the road. Not that Terrence was saying that was true, but from what he read it honestly could be. Besides, what was wrong with liking or even loving someone you really wanted to be around? Gender be damned, it didn’t matter at all to Terrence. Well that was beside the point, getting back to the story at hand, apparently a pokemon and a pokedex were stolen by Silver.

Of course Terrence knew the ending of the story, as well as how Silver was actually a pretty good guy. However, at the time of the incident most thought he was a crook and a bad guy. It was honestly sort of funny how your supposed enemy actually was your greatest ally in the end. Though there was a time that Gold was in deep depression. He didn’t seem to understand what his place was in the the dex holders, everone else had a place. One was a battler, another a trainer, one an expert of trading, one an evolver, another a capturer. So where did that leave Gold? This was one of Terrence’s favorite stories, because he honestly related with Gold. He didn’t understand why he was put into the position he was, or why he felt so inferior to everyone else. Terrence really did like this story the best, at least he thought so.

While gold struggled to find his reason for being with the dex holders, when he did his best to understand why he was there. The others were struggling themselves, and Terrence understood. Terrence had his own struggles as it was anyways. Back to the story though, Gold was at his lowest point, and at the time was traveling around with an egg. Much to his surprise, during his most painful time the egg in his arms hatched. It seemed that the egg actually had some traits that took after Gold, and that’s when Gold found his reason. He was a breeder, he could do something that no one else could and that gave him hope again. It was later that Terrence realized that he wanted to become a doctor, but at the time he wanted to be a trainer. Sure he was a trainer now, but Terrence found out rather quickly he didn’t like all the fighting that much.

There was nothing wrong with that after all, fighting wasn’t for everyone. Plus Terrence had more knowledge about plants and herbs. He loved making people feel better, and since he had an illness of his own he understood how painful it could get. He didn’t want anyone to suffer like he did if he could help it. That reason alone was part of the reason that Terrence wanted to be a healer in the first place. Sort of like how Gold seemed to be leaning more towards being a trainer rather than a breeder. It was something that fit him better in the end, and Gold honestly seemed to enjoy it a lot better too. That of course didn’t stop the hero from training. At least, that’s what the books told him anyways.

Terrence pursed his lips, shivering at the thought of ever having to fight someone. He hoped that things never came to that, and if it did he hoped he could resolve it quickly and without issue. He didn't want either side to suffer, and deep down he never ever wanted to hurt another living thing no matter the situation. While in his thoughts, his pokemon once again delivered him the egg, proud of their work. Terrence looked up and smiled, taking the egg and putting it away. Now it was time for the long trek back to the docs.

Noel was graced with the sight of yet more amazing scenery. His eyes went wide as they touched down in the meadow, looking first from the brilliant waterfall that resided in the middle of the meadow before his gaze moved to the purple flowers peppering the area as well. It was like its own little hidden paradise. There was also a massive tree that looked like it could be climbed up to a different area, a cave of some sort thought Noel couldn’t tell for sure. All in all, though, the place was beautiful. Who knew Alola had all these little treasures?

One of the first things Noel set out to do was to try and touch the waterfall. He'd never really seen one up close and personal before like this and the urge to feel what the falling water was like was all too much for him to resist. Once more, he set Algernon down, allowing the Espurr to begin the hunt for the egg while he took in the scenery. It was just so much different from the waves of cities and such that they'd seen; natural wonders that were often secluded to small hidden spots in the world. It was crazy and exciting and it'd be a shame if he didn't attempt to take advantage of this time to explore it out right. Carefully, he made his way over to the water side, standing along the shore as he stared up. The waterfall was massive; reaching to the sky even. He wondered if it ran straight from the sea or came from somewhere else...

Of course, there wasn't a clear cut way to find that out from where he was standing. Though, once they summoned the rider again he could certainly take a look in passing. That'd probably give him some answers. For now his attention shifted back to his original plan; trying to touch the waterfall. It didn't seem to be all that strong, though looks could be deceiving. There was also the issue that from where he was standing he couldn't quite reach it. To get closer, he'd probably have to wade through the water, though he certainly didn't have a swimsuit nor a change of clothes for such an action. With a frown, he walked along the shore, searching for a means to get closer. There had to be a vantage point that was just close enough for him to reach out and try to touch the moving water.

Maybe up? That was about the only option that remained after he’d walked the shore. There just weren’t any points that got him close enough and Noel found himself disappointed on that. Still, there was the cliff side that could be scaled and the nearby huge tree that looked suspiciously like something that should be walked on. It was massive; it didn’t even really require you climb. Still though, he didn’t want to go and panic Algernon again. The Espurr was probably still recovering from the earlier situation.
