Dotty floated over to Scarlett with an egg hovering nearby, but stopped short, her cheery mood dropping the moment she neared Scarlett. The murderous aura surrounding her was palpable, even if Dotty hadn't been a psychic type. She was paralyzed with fear, not daring to go any closer to Scarlett but too scared to run away. The moment Scarlett noticed Dotty however, the feeling disappeared as quickly as it had come. "Oh, there ya are. Find me egg?" Scarlett asked curiously. Dotty quivered slightly, hesitating to move, but she nodded in answer, and Scarlett smiled sympathetically. "Sorry lass, guess I looked pretty scary then huh? C'mere, it's okay. I ain't mad at ya, promise." She reassured the solosis. That allowed Dotty to finally relax a little, edging nearer, with the slightest caution as she handed over the egg. "Thank ya Dot. While Lafayette continued to come around, Cheri looked to the communicator in her paws as messages appeared. Ah, it appeared someone was up and moving! There was one first from Huey, responding in accordance with himself. She eyed the message as he remarked where the glowing rocks he’d mentioned earlier were; Unova? Hm… maybe once this was all done they could visit their again and she could see these rocks for herself.
Text to Huey: Oh! Thank you Hugo, I will see if we can go see them. They sound very pretty; glowing things are pretty. Yes, I am a pokemon. I am an Espurr. I am very pink, I think there are other pink pokemon, but I am a nice pink. I don’t, my trainer tries not to give me a lot of sugar. I vibrate when I eat too much of it. He is okay. I don’t think it’s nice he won’t let me have a lot of cotton candy. That is nice. Was he tough? I’m sure you can be tough. Our trainer is tough; you apparently just need to wrestle pokemon to be tough. I am tough, I can throw rocks. You should throw rocks.
With that, Cheri sent off that first message. Huey sounded like a very nice young man. Hopefully he would consider the advice of lifting rocks or wrestling pokemon to get tougher. It certainly seemed to work for Lafayette.

Through some luck, and last-second remembrance, Huey had still managed to keep the single yellow flower Cloud had given him, but there had been a few close calls. Like when they’d finished back up at the resort, the flower had managed to slip out of his ear and fall to the ground without him noticing.
