Ula'ula Meadow is a small meadow between Routes 16 & 17 that connects to Lake of the Sunne and Moone. The climate here is very much like that of a rainforest, damp and humid, creating a thick fog surrounding the area. This sort of biome attracts many grass and bug type pokemon to the area. Red flowers that are native to Ula'ula Island grow in abundance here, giving the native Oricorio their Baile Style from drinking the fiery red nectar.

Flying over the island, it wasn't long before the group had managed to come across a red-flowered meadow. Much like Melemele's meadow this garden seemed comprised of nothing but red flowers. Mave lowered herself onto a walkway, letting Avikna and Tay climb off. The red-head stuck close while Tay wondered out into the flower field. A few moments passed when Tay came back to Avikna, holding an assortment of items, but no egg. "Look what I found. Did someone lose all this stuff?" Tay pondered, resting the items onto the deck. Avikna knelled down, picking up one of the Tm's. "I don't think so. It would be an odd place to lose something." Tm's were an odd thing to lose, but the seed appeared to be an item called 'Miracle Seed' which was meant to boost the powers of Grass-type Pokemon. "Just use them. If anyone comes asking I can pay for compensation." Tay seemed unsure of this, but after Elias landed beside her, she held up the green Tm to him. Elias pecked it, taking in it's energy. After that, Tay fashioned the Miracle seed to his neck. The other Tm she used upon Manuel.

Wandering back out into the flowers, Avikna rested down on the edge of the walkway, dangling her legs over the side as she watched Tay run about. Mave decided to lay behind Avikna, pulling in her wings as best she could. There was still a clear path past the wolf, but apparently not enough for a younger male. "Could you move your Pokemon?" he asked in a strikingly demanding voice. Avikna turned her gaze as did Mave. 'I'm not blocking the way that much am I?' The wolf questioned, lifting her form from the board walk. The male narrowed his gaze and began to walk by, muttering something under his breath. Avikna rose turning towards him watching as he walked. What a rude a**. "You've got some nerve." Avikna spoke up, crossing her arms. "She wasn't blocking your path." The male turned eyeing Avikna. "Actually it was. This boardwalk is meant to be walked upon, not sit upon. Least of all by giant fat Pokemon like that thing." Avikna's fist tightened, as Mave simply looked at herself confused. 'I"m not fat am I?' She pondered. Sure her wings took up quiet a bit of space, but other than that she was kind of on the scrawny side as far as her body was shaped.

Leaning into a hip, Avikna watched the male for a moment before she shook her head, looking off to find Tay head down, butt in the air. She really couldn't afford to get into a fight, especially when Tay at her side. "You know what. Nevermind." Avikna voiced, shaking her head. "You're not worth my time." The search for this egg was harder than Tay had previously thought. With her mind wandering back to the view of the beach and her urge to dive in, she felt herself getting distracted. Eventually she rested down among the flowers, looking down at a partial opening between the flowers. Elias hopped over, leaping into the open space to catch Tay off guard. She looked up finding her feathered friend with his head half-tilted to the side. He was quite adorable. "Hi Elias." She muttered. The bird cooed something in response, hopping about a bit more. What Elias spotted was actually another egg. Hidden behind one of the poles of the walkway. Reaching under to grab the egg, she found her hand brushing against something fluffy, and staticy. Retracting her arm, she held onto her hand looking at it in confusion. Elias stood upon the walkway, tilting his head in confusion. "Something shocked me." Tay menitoned. Just then the egg rolled free, bumping up against Tay's feet. She reached down taking the egg, then looked up to see a small mouse standing just within view. "Oh? Was it you I touched?" She questioned, holding down a finger to the mouse. It cautiously stepped out to inspect Tay's finger, before leaping up onto her arm and up to her neck to snuggle. The shock coming off the mouse wasn't entirely painful... Tay had grown used the static charges going through her body, given where she'd grown up. In fact she sort of recognized the emotion behind this particular shock. "Do you want to come along with me and Elias?" Tay asked. The mouse nodded squeaking loudly. "Okay." Reaching into her bag she placed the egg within and grabbed a ball, using it upon the mouse. A few shakes later and the ball sealed. Not even that far into her journey with Avikna and she already had a decent team of 5 Pokemon to train. Standing up she motioned to Elias to join her as she ran back across the flower field and over to Avikna.
After recalling the events that had passed, Avikna and Tay mounted Mave once more and quickly took off to find the next egg.

Another meadow to search. Alola was certainly full of them. Noel had never seen so many flowers in his life in so many different places nor so many different colored flowers. It was something he was certainly going to remember. The odd thing that stuck out to him though, were the walkways. They were simply plank bridges thatched together over different hill bumps. Below there was the meadow full of red flowers. It was kind of interesting.

Noel gingerly stepped off the Pidgeot and walked towards the bridges, gingerly tapping a foot to one of them. It was sturdy as far as he could tell. He took another step forward to test with his full weight, giving a little sigh of relief when it became clear they were safe to walk on. It was still a rather interesting to do, putting such shoddy looking bridges around for people to walk on. Maybe it was just a last-minute thought on someone’s part and this was the best they could manage. That was fine; s’long as they were safe to use. Soon he and Algernon were moving along quickly, keeping an eye out on their surroundings.

Chances are, the egg was hiding in the flowers down below; probably under one of the bridges. He didn’t quite have a good vantage point here and so the pair found a shallow slope that would allow them to hop down the to field of flowers below. Noel picked Algernon up before hopping down, startled when the flowers came up to a little over his waist. That was some crazy tall flowers, it was proven even more as Algernon all but disappeared when he set him down in them. "Stay close Algy, okay?" Noel remarked, a little worry that the Espurr might become lost. He did hear a cooing response right next to him, and made note of it before moving on through the grass at a slow pace.

Noel did his best to keep an eye out for the egg in the expansive flower bed, narrowing his gaze and wrinkling his nose some in response. The flowers smelt really nice but the scent was rather overwhelming. He didn’t know if he could stick around much longer; even without allergies too much of one scent could certainly make you sick. He also didn’t want to lose track of Algernon either. He could see rustling in the flowers right beside him though, so he knew at least that the Espurr was close if not right next to him.

[Egg Hunt Post: 5/5]
A little more searching and Noel perked up at the sound of a cry. It sounded like Algernon and for a moment he thought something had happened; maybe he’d run into a wild pokemon? Noel swiveled around in the last place he’d heard his pokemon to be. It took a little bit of searching but he managed to locate him. The Espurr rubbed his face and looked up as Noel appeared, pointing forward to the egg he’d gone and run into by mistake. Noel felt relieved. Algernon was (for the most part) all right and it’d just been the surprise of the egg appearing that caught him off guard. Noel picked up the egg and looked it over; it was painted in matching purple colors like the surrounding fields, with little flower caricatures like he’d seen before on some of the other island eggs. With an excited grin, he sent the last egg off and beamed even more as the indicator came up indicating that he’d collected all the eggs available for the egg hunt! He looked over it excitedly as a message came through indicating where he could go to collect his prizes as well as where the festival itself was. Tucking the pokedex away once more, Noel pulled out the pager, scooping Algernon into one arm before rushing for a clearer path. Once they were out of the flowers, the Pidgeot appeared again, flapping its wings in greeting once more. Noel and Algernon both gave excited greetings before climbing onto the birds back ready to head off to the festival. This had certainly been a fun time for him; he was curious what kind of prizes he’d be getting now for his completion.

Ashley thumbed the pokeball with his previous capture as they touched down once more in a meadow. He was more occupied in determining what this strange new pokemon was than paying any sort of attention to the fact that there were more flowers to deal with. He didn’t even acknowledge Genevieve as the Eevee rushed off on her own to investigate for the next egg. Clearly, the events of earlier were not going to startle her.

The French man pulled out his pokedex and scanned the pokeball to gather some information. While he knew there were different pokemon in Alola, much like in any other region, he was curious if this one was a native. The information that the pokedex gave him didn’t indicate such, or much at all. What he did discover was that it was called a ‘Gekkit’ and that the bamboo was a favorite place for them to hide. It’d made sense then why one was hiding there. He looked thoughtfully at the ball a moment, rolling it between his fingers.

The entry gave very little information; the kip he’d just caught was clearly young and he was curious why it’d taken to attempting to challenge Genevieve. Maybe it was playing? Or maybe it was brave enough to believe it could take down the Eevee since they were roughly the same size. It was all very curious to think about. Would he let it go? Return it to the wilds? They’d flown away from the garden where he’d found it but they could just as easily head back to release it. He’d only caught the pokemon as a last-ditch effort to help Genevieve.

He certainly had enough pokemon on his team and taking the time to train another felt like a hassle. On top of that there was still that Joltik to contend with, a fact that hadn’t slipped his mind but was instead nagging in the back of his head. Of course, he wasn’t obligated to train that pokemon; simply locate and return it to its previous owner. Which meant really… he only had one. And he was rather intrigued with this pokemon all the same.
