"Hey, kid. Hey! Wake up, alright? Come on, it's dangerous here." The voice reached into Adder's restless subconscious, but not even the light shake of his shoulder managed to completely rouse him. He remained fast asleep, head cocked to the side but chest slowly rising and falling. Even in his sleep, he frowned, brow pulled together slightly, though that could have had to do with what he was dreaming over.
Fi sighed and ran a hand back through her hair before straightening up and looking around. Chestor should be returning soon, but she needed to get this kid out of the heat. She'd seen him sleeping here on her way up hours ago and he was still here. How had no one else been concerned enough to check and see if he was alright? And the fact that he wasn't waking up was pretty concerning. He was obviously sunburned as well, and probably dehydrated at this point.
Rubbing her temples, Delphi rested a hand on her temple and looked down at the kid, noting the pokeballs. Maybe he had a pokemon that could help... She leaned down to his bag and started going through his things, but glanced up when she noticed him actually stir. She quickly moved way from his bag and placed a hand on his shoulder, peering at his face to look for any signs of consciousness. "Hey, kid, you wakin' up...?" she murmured, giving him another gentle nudge. He groaned softly, but still didn't completely stir, so she pulled out his pokedex. Scrolling through it, he seemed to have caught quite a few, but it took some fiddling to figure out which he actually had with him-- she hadn't exactly handled one of these a whole lot. Unfortunately, the ones he did have were pretty small. Bayleaf was her best bet, and she was pretty sure they weren't exactly shoulder height, even for this kid. Putting his pokedex away, she straightened up, relaxing some as she noticed a perky, green monkey pokemon bounding towards them.
"Ches, thank Arceus. Did you find someone that could help?" she asked, one arm akimbo as she turned towards the approaching pokemon. The grookey stopped and shook his head, eliciting another sigh from his trainer, who turned to look warily back at the preteen. Guess she was going to have to try and carry him herself.... At least he was relatively short?

After a bit of careful preparation, Fi crouched down and pulled the young boy's arm around her shoulders. It was a little awkward, and she had absolutely no strength, but with some careful balance, she was able to pull him up with her, hoping she wasn't straining his arm too much. All the movement and pressure did seem to get to him more, though, and he groaned, his head moving a bit though his eyes squeezed tighter shut. "Hey, I'm taking you to the pokecenter, alright? Ches would you get his bag?" she said, first to the kid, then to her pokemon. The grookey straightened up and gave a salute, before bounding over to grab the bag and begin lugging it along behind him. Delphi glanced down at the kid as she started walking, and huffed a but after only five steps or so. Okay, so.... maybe negative strength was more accurate.
Giving him a light bump, she tried again. "Hey uh.... Adder?" She was pretty sure that was what his pokedex had been registered under, so she had to assume that was his name. That, or he was a really bad thief. "I'm trying to help you but this would be a lot easier if you could help, even a little, alright? So if you could just wake up a bit..." She tried giving him another little hiccup of movement, and felt a wash of relief when she saw his head shake slowly and his eyes start to open. She could feel him moving to get his feet under him, and relaxed, just a little. "What.... MD?" She ignored that and tried to lean down to catch his gaze. He looked very unfocused, probably out of it from the sleep, and the dehydration, poor guy. "Can you walk, just a little? You've been outside in the heat for a long time. You're probably dehydrated, but I want to get you to the pokecenter," she said. She noticed a scowl cross over his face, but she felt him taking some of the weight off her shoulder and started walking again, slowly. At least this was progress.

Relief washed over Fi as Adder proved able to take more than just a couple steps, and carried some of her own weight. She had seriously started considering the option that she might just have to drag him along the ground to get him to safety or something. To say she was not built for athletics was an understatement. Even when it came to yoga, she could pull off some of the flexibility, but none of the endurance or strength.
"Wh.... where...."
Fi glanced down as the boy mumbled and struggled to make out his surroundings, her expression twisting to one of sympathy and concern. She tried to help him up a little straighter, his hat slumping on his head, but that just brought more of his weight on her, and she very nearly dropped him. With a sound of effort, she helped him keep his footing, but glanced at him to see he seemed to be fading again. "Hey, stay with me kid. We're heading down hill and I'd hate to send you rolling," she insisted, shaking him some. He took a deep breath and his mouth twisted, but he seemed to come back to consciousness. "'M fine," he insisted, and Fi nearly laughed in disbelief when she felt him weakly try and draw his arm back. He didn't even get his hand past her neck before the strength left him, and she shook her head before glancing back at Ches.
"Hey, if you can, Ches, mind running ahead? Maybe you can get some of the people in town to come help or something. Get him inside quicker," she urged. It stuttered, seemingly finding it difficult to actually speak. Avikna reached forward a hand and grabbed the Porygon by it's blockie nose. "Calm down and get back in the Pokedex if you have something to say." She voiced. Body parts spinning in a continued frenzy Z3R0 finally returned to the dex and on the screen it's likeness appeared. "Problem! BIG PROBLEM!" A robotic voice stated from the device. "ALL GONE! ALL GONE!" Avikna's eyes narrowed as she snatched the dex from Tay. "What is all gone!?" At this point Avikna was getting rather frustrated. "EVERYONE! EVERYONE! ALL GONE!" The dex flashed to a new screen, a display screen of Avikna's Personal computer. An indescribable feeling came over Avikna as she shifted between her boxes.... the data for all her Pokemon... Gone.

As Avikna quickly made her way to the nearby Pokemon Center, her brain was wracked with thoughts on just how this had happened. Was it a glitch or a bug of some kind? Was Z3R0 wrong about all of this? She had certainly neglected her PC, but the Pokemon should still be back at the ranch awaiting the day she would call them to her team. Back when she'd started this whole trainer deal, the red-head hadn't focused on any certain type of Pokemon. Still even if her focus was now on training Dragon-type Pokemon, it didn't mean she didn't care about the ones she'd left behind.
Pausing for a moment the red-head clenched her fist once more. Mave stepped forward raising her snout towards the woman. 'What are you thinking?' The wolf asked, despite having the ability to read her trainer's thoughts. "I was only concerned on getting stronger and having the strongest Pokemon with me when I started, but now that I'm being told the ones I've neglected are gone I suddenly feel... worried?" Staring at the PC screen the red-head continued to seethe in her anger. Mave stepped up brushing up against her. 'So they really are all gone?' She asked. Avikna continued to clench her teeth as she gripped the side of the PC. "Yes. So it appears on this screen." The only thing she could do now was call the place where she had her Pokemon stored. Why had they not contacted her yet? Were they unable to? Or was the PC not showing her Pokemon's data really a glitch or fake? Stepping away from the machine Avikna found a free phone. After a series of rings an automated voice message replied. 'The number you are calling is unable to pick up right now. Please wait a while and try again later.' Now her anger was quickly shifting to concern. It wasn't as though she cared for the people she'd left her Pokemon to care for, or for any other Pokemon these same people care for... but these were her Pokemon. Trying again, just in case she was met once more with the voice message. "So if that place was attacked... wouldn't they send out messages to let people know the situation?"
