[Contest] Cheetons? In MY Bonelands?

It's more likely than you think!

Dropped off by a mother who didn't want them, three little cheetons found themselves joining their father's pride; the Ithambo'hlabathi, right around the end of the drought. Blessed with more features akin to a lion than that of their cheetah mother, they easily blend in under the guise of stunted lion cubs who suffered from malnutrition during the drought. As far as the pride is concerned, their mother was a rogue lioness who had a fling with Bangizwe and died while trying to actually make the journey to the pride, though her cubs were able to be found before they became a buzzard's meal. No one is aware of their true parentage and Bangizwe intends to keep it that way.

Due to their motherless status, will float around and will be raised communally by the pride, nursing with any lioness's cubs who will allow them to take a turn.

RULES

___1. They must remain part of the pride.
___2. Their names must be Zulu and Bangizwe would have likely named them something to try and give them a boon (things like strength, survivor, good health).
___3. Cub 1 is only open to those who has not received a Bonelands cub in 2016 (doesn't matter if it's male or female). Cub 2 is open to anyone, regardless of how many BLers you have.

THE FAMILY


Bangizwe
The father of the three cheetons and an Umholi in the pride, he will be a constant figure in their lives but will only be an influence them from a distance.
While he may show affection towards them and play on occasion, it is not something expected of him.

Penda
The mother of the three cheetons, she is a rogue who left them on the border of the pride, making them Bangizwe's problem now before leaving.
She will have no influence on them and the cubs will not even be able to remember her due to how young they were when she left their lives.


Sisinde
The youngest and smallest of the three, Sisi is a bundle of energy. She already has a knack for getting into trouble with the lionesses.
Some expect she'll break norm and become an Enda to explore since she seems no keen on breaking boundaries already.

Entering for: Cub 1
Name and Meaning: utshani umlilo (Grass on Fire)
Character: Ilo for short is going to be very driven by all his hearts desires. He is passionate and bold and just likes to go for it. He will be determined and not let little things put him down challenge wise, his one fault however is he does not face conflicts instead he chooses to flee confrontations with others. He cannot handle drama or situations with others well

Name and Meaning: Nkonkoni - champion, leader
Character: Nkonkoni - or Koni as they prefer to go by - is an ambitious cub. No challenge is too great for this plucky youth who is always eager to prove themselves to those around them. Sure, they're smaller and slimmer than the other lions in the pride, but they're also faster and more agile. Koni finds ways to turn their shortcomings into strengths and has their sights set on climbing the ranks within the Bonelands once they become old enough. Like their siblings, Koni's appearance leans more towards their father's lion heritage than their mother's cheetah, but Koni also has a bit more mane than their sisters. While biologically female, Koni doesn't see themselves as a lioness or a lion but rather somewhere in between. Their voice is deeper than the average lioness and they are attracted to both females and males. Their infertility may become apparent later down the line if they choose to try to have cubs, but with the constantly changing male populace Koni will probably seek a lifemate in one of the many females within the pride and raise cubs with them sired by an Inselelo or Abaholi.

Entering for: Cub 2 (1st preference)
Name and Meaning: Qinisela (persevere)
Character: Qini (as a nickname) is much more relaxed that either of her sisters, and certainly more independent (well, she'll admit Sisinide is pretty independent herself, but she can't let her little sister beat her at anything. Oh--that's right.) Competitive too, Qini wants to be the fastest, strongest, smartest, bestest there ever was. She especially likes showing up the boy cubs with her knack at wrestling (which often leads to her getting into trouble for foul play... It's not her fault the boys are little cry babies and squeak at the slightest p***k of her tiny claws). Whose to say if her independence will follow her into adulthood, but it is true that the idea of being completely separated form her sisters is distressing.


Entering for: Cub 1 (2nd preference)
Name and Meaning: Indlovu (forceful one)
Character: Like most older siblings, Indlovu takes it upon herself to be the mother hen of the troop of girls. A rule follower that causes little ruckus (unlike Sisi, for example), she makes sure everyone is staying out of trouble. This makes for a stern tone and a lot of exasperation... but there is still room for little playtime... sometimes. Despite her constant nagging, she can't really stay mad at her sisters for long and is extraordinarily protective of them. I expect she will stay with the pride for the majority of her life, so long as she maintains contact with her sisters. If the time comes one (or heaven forbid, both) leave the pride, Indlovu would be more inclined to join them.
