Traveling across the stretch of ocean between the islands, Tay used up two of the three revives Avikna had given her to revive her fallen companions. They were heading straight towards what appeared to be a ranch, which didn't appear to have a Pokemon Center, though the small town to the south of it did. Tay was silent for the most part during the ride, Mave's quietly beating wings made for a pretty silent ride through the sky. Tay's melancholy mood quickly shifted once they met the land. The teen was quickly distracted from her earlier scolding when she spotted the many Tauros the ranch housed. Avikna herself was mildly impressed. So much testosterone in one place and these bulls were playing nice with one another? It made her think to her own Tauros. She wondered some how he was doing.

Tay was quick to run to the fence, getting about half way over before Avikna snatched the back of her shirt. "Hold it." The red-head voiced. Tay turned with a frown. "We should ask permission first." she motioned towards a building in the distance. Tay pouted some, but gave in. Hopping back on the street side of the fence, the brunette stopped when she noticed something shiny in the dirt at her feet. Leaning down she plucked it from the earth. "Whats this?" She asked out loud. Avikna looked to see what Tay was holding, nodding when she recognized the item. "A Heart scale. They're not to rare, but they're still rather valuable." Avikna informed the teen. Tay looked up with a bemused look, one that was quickly becoming just her standard facial expression. Avikna let out a sigh, again wondering what the school had been teaching her. "It's an item that when used on a Pokemon can help them learn a move they either previously forgot, or a move tutors normally would have to teach them." Then the red-head got an idea. "Why not use it on Elias?"
The feathered companion in mind rested on the fence post nearest Tay and Avikna. He turned his head 180 when his name was called, quickly hopping into the air to twist his body around as well. Tay nodded, turning towards the feathered starter and went to set the scale down on his head, only for Tay to fall to her butt instead, With Elias in her arms instead. A horse-like Pokemon had leaped over the fence quite suddenly, landing nearby with a odd sounding whinny. Avikna arched her back backwards with an arm risen when the Pokemon had done so, quickly recovering and going to Tay's side to make sure she was alright. The teen quickly got up on her own and brushed off her new clothes, turning towards the horse Pokemon with a pout. "Avikna just got me these! That was mean!" She stated, with her hands balled into fists and placed on her hips. The horse replied with a stout whinny, holding it's head up high. Avikna didn't need Tay's translation for that, the horse made it pretty straight forward it'd done it on purpose. "You think so? Okay, Elias, let's teach this butt a lesson!" Tay motioned forward, letting Elias know he was up for battle.

Elias' type came as an advantage over the Mudbray this time, being part flying he was able to avoid a Bulldoze attack, and get in a second Leafage to end the horse. Tay quickly tossed a ball eagerly with a wide grin displayed on her face. The ball caught the Mudbray and wiggled a few times before finally sealing. "Yeaaa!" She called out, leaping into the air happily. Elias floated over to the ball and landed upon it, picking it up to return to Tay. The brunette accepted her new capture and held it forward for Avikna to see. "Yea. You're really gathering a collection here." Avikna nodded. "Now should we go back to that Heart scale?" Tay's eyes widened and she quickly began to look around. She found the scale nearby, but paused when she met Elias' gaze. The bird chirped something, which made Tay nod. "I think I'll hold onto it actually." She replied. Setting the scale in her pouch instead. Avikna arched a brow. "It could come in handy when I really need it." Tay supplied. With a smile and a nod. "Can I go see the Tauros now?!"

Just wanted to say high to a foxy girl like yerself. The other one's a bit to young for my likes though." he grinned. "Kidding!" raising his hands up into the air, he shook his head. "I'm no perv, I swear it on my grandpappies grave." Avikna's arms folded now, and Tay gave the man an angry face as well. "Seriously, I just wanted to say high. Feeling the wood shift under her hand, the red-head took a glance to the side to find the man leaning against the fence with his arms bent under his chest. "She yers?" He asked. "Ya don't need to answer that if'n it's to personal." Avikna narrowed her gaze, but looked away leaving the question unanswered. "She don't look nothing like you, so I'm guessin' no." Avikna continued to keep her eyes on Tay. " So yer jus' travelin' together or something? Hmm... Yer not very talkative." Avikna's gaze turned when she heard something under his breath that she didn't quite like. Stepping forward it took only a second of fluid motion to grab the man by the collar of his button up plaid shirt. "Say that again?" She stated, a hand balled into a fist at her side. "Er, I-uh... Never mind, Ferget I said anything." He voiced waving his hands.
Just then Avikna heard Tay calling her name. The red-head quickly released the man and turned to find Tay holding up an egg. "Good work." Avikna replied. Waving Tay over, the teen quickly came back over and hopped over the fence once more, running to Mave to show her. "Three down." Avikna added as she moved to Mave's side. "Let's keep going." Tay nodded. Setting the egg into her bag she then ran around to join Avikna, hopping up onto the Wolf. The man, still adjusting his collar stepped back as Mave took off, a bit rougher than normal, just to kick up dust into the man's face.

Finally, Terrence was back at the ranch. Even though he remembered this place being a lot more magical when he was younger, now it just smelt terrible. Don't get him wrong, it was very pretty here, but seriously the smell was something that really wasn't all that great. However, the sight was pretty at least. Terrence moved through the area, looking over at all the Tauros and... were those Miltank? He didn't remember much about the Milktank, but he did remember a bit about the Tauros being there. Though if Terrence remembered correctly, according to a book he read Milktank produced something called moo moo milk. It was actually supposed to be really good, and Terrence really wondered if he should try to get some himself some day. Maybe he'd come back here and catch a Milktank later when he had the ability to fly. That would be nice.

Terrence shivered at the thought, no way did he wanna become road kill. If he was crushed to death who'd take care of his pokemon? He shook his head, careful to avoid the areas that the wild Tauros were in. Maybe he'd just avoid them for now, he wasn't too confident in his abilities just yet, and he needed some time to actually make sure he had the guts to take one on. Terrence looked around some more, before he moved some more grass away. He as relieved to see an egg siting near by, and it looked to be in good condition too. He scoped it up, before looking around some more. He;d have to come back to get a Milktank, but he'd for sure stay away from the Tauros for now. They honestly scared him more than they really should have. Those horns and its large size really made him shiver. No way was he going to mess with those guys, they could kill him as easily as a fly! With that in mind, Terrence made his way out of the ranch rather quickly and left the area to go back to route six and towards a boat so that he could get to the next island.

There were ranches and there were… ranches. The last thing Noel expected to see were ranches though he supposed that wasn’t uncommon. Regions had their own farms and such and why should he expect less from islands like this? Hopping off the Pidgeot, he took a glance around, curious where on such a rand place he might find an egg. There were hay bales all over the place; that was probably a great place to look!

Noel started down the path more towards more of the more reachable hay bales that lined the roads. Algernon gave another yawn and shifted in his hood, finally stirring from his rather long nap. Rubbingt his eyes, the Espurr adjusted his own headphones and looked around still from his cradle in Noel’s hood, trying to figure exactly where they were. Had he really slept that long? He certainly didn’t expect Noel to get so far; nor to be digging in hay.

Noel jerked back from the hay he was checking in when he heard Algernon give a little cooe, smiling and reaching behind his head to gently tug the pokemon free from his hood. "Hey there buddy! Have a nice nap?" Noel inquired, giving a little giggle as the Espurr gave a yawn. Algernon was adorable and Noel moved to carrying him in his arms until he was fully awake. "We’re in Alola, Algernon! We’ve already visited the first island. I’m sorry I didn’t wake you when we got here." He gave the Espurr a gentle rub on the head, earning another little chirp in response. Algernon certainly didn’t seem to mind, rubbing at his eyes and taking in the sights at the moment.

There were a few pokemon behind the fences that Noel recognized. There were Miltank grazing out in the pastures and Tauros not too far off doing the same. There were some Lillipup wandering about who seemed to be keeping the ranch animals in check. And then there were pokemon that Noel didn’t recognize; they looked like massive horses made of mud. Strong and stout and prepared to take on any heavy loads hitched to them. Curious, Noel fished out his pokedex to scan them, head tilting some as the device sprang to life. A Mudsdale… an Alolan native pokemon. Huh, that was cool! He bet they were fun to ride around on; Rapidash were pretty but they had that fire to contend with. Troublesome if you weren’t friends with them….
