Watching Tay and Vivi face off against the oversized Gumshoos, Avikna felt kind of pumped. She was eager herself to get back into battling something other than wild Pokemon and wannabe criminals. In fact, during the bout she began to go over a battle plan. She wasn't sure what type of Pokemon Illima used, but guessing how most gyms were, he'd be considerably weak. Meaning Aislin and Ookoth would likely be overkill. Dovakin however, was pretty capable.
As Tay took her victory, collecting an oddly coloured shard, she returned to Avikna with a wide grin. "I did it, Avikna!" She cheered. "I mean me and Vivi did it!" Avikna gave her a small grin, nodding her approval. "For your first real battle it was very well done." She replied, giving the girl some encouragement. Tay nodded, ready to show the odd coloured shard when the familiar voice of Ilima interupted. "Sorry to be a bother, but I've got a line it seems." Avikna looked up, locking eyes with the feminine boy. "Right. Dovakin, we're up." Avikna spoke, but... Dovakin didn't show himself. Not even a sound. "Dovakin?" Mild anger rose in her tone. Looking around, she finally spotted the little yellow scales on the end of his tail, seemed he was... stuck? Avikna let out a sigh. Of all the times he could get his head stuck.
Once over to the dragon's side, the red-head leaned down placing one hand on the stone wall and the other on a smaller rock. Wedged between the two rocks was Dovakin, he was whining slightly, but otherwise looked unharmed. "Hold on, I'll get you free." She stated. Pushing on the smaller rock she noticed it was movable. Standing up she placed her back against the wall, and a foot to the stone, pushing it until finally the stone began rolling. Dovakin popped his head out, dropping something he'd had in his mouth. Two of somethings actually. One was still firmly clasped between his lips, thought not for long as it quickly absorbed into his body. Avikna leaned down and grabbed the other one before it too could vanish. "Heart scales... Who the hell leaves these... Nevermind. Dovakin, are you ready now? Let's fight." The dragon looked up, an eager look settled in his red eyes. 'finally' Avikna thought, looking back to Ilima. "Let's begin than." Ilima smiled back, sending forth his first Pokemon.

Dovakin handled himself as well as Avikna had figured. That was, until the Gumshoos released a very powerful move, one she hadn't expected. The red-head's eyes widened a bit at the sight. "Amazing. Breakneck Blitz?" Ilima smiled, waving a hand through the air like the posh male he pretended to be. "Yes. That is the power given to my partner from the Normalium Z." Ilima provided, jumping at the chance to teach someone something new. "Any normal-type move whether it attacks or it's used as defense or support, the Normalium Z will boost it's power." He continued. "This is the same with the other Z-crystals scattered all over Alola. But without further adeou, You've earned my stamp as well as this." Ilima then stepped forward offering Avikna small silver crystal. "Oh, do you not have a stamp booklet?" Ilima pondered, after only a moment of waiting for Avikna to accept the stamp. "In Alola we don't have badges quite yet, so instead we use the age-old tradition of stamps. If you don't have a booklet don't fret, I actually keep several on hand just for a situation like this. Don't worry, they count just like normal badges from other regions."
After this was all said and done, Avikna was still trying to wrap her mind around the idea of Z-crystals and the immense power they provided. Though a powerful item like this likely had some sort of con. Else, a gym leader would not just hand them away in place of a Tm. "Well, anyway, you've won and now you should head off to Akala Island, that is where you'll find the next trial, along with the next stamp-er "badge". " Ilima finished. Turning towards Saru the male then extended his smile towards him. "I am all yours now." He replied. "Ah, but give me a moment to be sure my team is ready to go?" With a shallow bow the male quickly retreated to a small camp he'd set up as a healing station.
Avikna and Tay in the meantime, were both rather eager to continue. Seemed now was a good a time as any to break ways with Saru and Chibi. Though Tay was a bit sad to leave her new friend behind, if they were traveling Alola like them, then she was sure they'd run into one another again at sometime. "Good Luck, Chibi and Saru!" Tay cheered. "I hope we meet again!" With that Avikna turned away and lead the two of them from the cave.

Realizing he'd won his first battle, congratulating Ieyasu on a job well done, and receiving his stamp, plus a number of other items. It was all done in a blur, one of which Naomi could scarcely recall he had been so excited, and within that time he had managed to heal his partner of his wounds? He wasn't sure, he couldn't remember. But, when things finally settled down, and he'd bid Ilimia farewell, the teenager was marching determinedly ahead, with Moriyoshi in his arms and the other five following closely behind. Rotom lagged behind, officially making him the caboose of their travel train, needed as much space as he could to properly complain to himself.
Rather than leaving the cave they were heading deeper into it, Ilima having hinted at another challenge awaiting Naomi and his team in the form of a 'totem pokemon'. Though its identity unknown to him, it didn't stop the teen from becoming excited over it, and eagerly seeking it out. But, even with such palpable elation in the air, Naomi didn't forget about Moriyoshi, who still slumbered in his arms, and showed no signs of awakening despite the activity going around him. He was still sick, but... Rotom had said to wait until the afternoon before becoming worried, and it was 12 yet. Or, at least he didn't think it was, he hadn't had the chance to check the time since entering the cavern.
From up ahead the cave grew brighter, natural light shining in from an exit large enough for all to slip through. A small field awaited them, just as Ilimia had spoken of, with a mountainous wall blocking a view of the sea one knew lay just beyond, and somewhere within the area... the totem pokemon made its home. Naomi, keeping cautious for once, kept from immediately venturing into the field and exploring, and instead set himself, and Mori, just outside the cavern. He wanted to check the time, just to make sure they were still in the clear for the Litten's health. Out came his communicator, from the confines of his bag, and although a quick press of a button was enough to see the time -- it was 11:30, so they had a half hour left -- the sight of two new messages on his screen kept the male from immediately returning his device. Both were from Dallas, he was keeping up his end of the bargain and contacting him, and immediately put a smile on his face. Naomi bit his bottom lip, did a quick survey of the area, and then another one, before he looked down at his screen. He could just send out a quick reply, to update him on his own status. There was no harm in that.

Naomi had only just sent the message, an electronic whoosh pinging out to indicate that it'd gone through, when he felt the hairs on the back of his neck raise, and the sudden feeling that he was being watched. He quickly returned his communicator and picked Moriyoshi up as a precaution, his eyes sweeping the land to try and pinpoint the source of his abrupt unease. Ieyasu and Sousa, sensing the same danger, pulled themselves closer to their trainer. Just in time too, as from the cliffs a thunderous roar shook the area and a pokemon jumped down to the ground below, where Naomi and his pokemon stood. "That is..."
"ARCEUS, THAT THING'S HUGE!" Rotom yelled out, his new objective quickly becoming putting some space between himself and the Gumshoos that'd appeared. "Ah..." Stuck between awe of its size, and following in Rotom's footsteps and putting some space between them, Naomi stood in place, eyes wide as he watched the pokemon step closer. How had a single pokemon grown so large? Had Ilima put it on some special diet? Or had it just been born this way? Were all totem pokemon this large? "Oh!" From his arms, a suddenly awake, Moriyoshi jumped out of his trainer's arms, using Naomi's chest as a springboard to clear over Ieyasu and put himself firmly between the Gumshoos and the rest of the team. He growled softly, surprisingly alert for one who'd been sleeping the past several hours, before his form broke out in a bright light.

When the light faded what stood before them was a larger feline, whose crouched and defensive form had not been altered in the slightest. Mori growled again, this time his maw sporting flames, and a dull ringing echoed out from the base of his neck, where a bell could now be found. There wasn't time to appreciate Mori's evolution, unfortunately, as Gumshoos, undeterred by the abrupt change in appearance, launched itself forward in an attack. "A-ah! Mori, use Fire Fang!" Naomi sputtered, caught off guard. First this giant pokemon, and now Mori's evolution? He was still reeling from it all.
With his back turned to the rest of his team, and attention focused solely on the battle ahead, Naomi had missed out on the evolution of another one of his pokemon; but, in his defense she'd found the event underwhelming herself. Jingū stretched out an arm to stare down in an awe at the new extremity, and then kicked out her legs, now longer and slender than the stubs of her previous evolution. Ah... she was taller now! Which... which meant she could watch the battle better now! "Go Mori~ Show 'em what's for!" Jingū cried joyously, bouncing up and down as she cheered on her teammate and friend. From up above, Sousa, whose ever vigilant gaze missed nothing, divided his attention between the newly evolved Jingū, and the battle, before eventually focusing fully on the latter; after all, this was far more concerning, though he was glad to see the young pokemon evolve.

With one, final, kick to the face, and its ally long gone, Gumshoos decided it'd had enough. With one, final, growl it scampered back up the wall and out of sight, paying no mind to the crystal it dropped along the way. A silence settled down upon the area before cheers broke out, and Mori suddenly found himself surrounded by his team. "Mori, that was amazing!" Naomi gushed, though his praise was nearly drowned out by the excited babbling of Jingū, who easily pushed her way past Ieyasu to get to Mori. Both he and Naomi stared at the Steenee with wide eyes, the wariness in their eyes as they watched her bounce up and down clear that recognition did not immediately come to them. "Oh! Jingū, you evolved!" Naomi spoke out, once he'd finally connected the dots, and Jingū stopped in her movements long enough to give a hardy bob of the head.
Ah, two evolutions at once? What were the odds? Naomi's previous grin grew larger, before he reached out to pat Jingū's head. "Congratulations! Your new form is very-- ow!" He yanked his hand back, now throbbing in pain, and cradled it against his chest gently. Jingū, in her excitement, had spun around, causing one of her sepals to hit his extended hand. "Ahaha, the top of your head... it is much harder now," he painfully mused, to the grass-type's amusement. Ieyasu was quick to correct her behavior, however, and with a hard nudge to her legs, he jerked his head in Naomi's direction, indicating that Jingū should apologize. "Stee..." she murmured, realizing her mistake. "No, no. It is fine, I know you did not mean to hurt me. But, I thank you for the apology."
Naomi shook his hand out, hoping to 'wave the pain' that lingered, before stretching his fingers out. "We should get going," he suggested, once he'd assured that nothing was broken. "Before you go," Rotom spoke up, bringing the trainer's attention to his direction. Once the threat of the Gumshoos had been eliminated, he'd taken it upon himself to investigate the item it'd dropped. He and Tomoe. "You might as well take this... thing that beast dropped, make your efforts worth something." Curious, Naomi walked over to the two pokemon to inspect the item they were hovering over, Tomoe circling it excitedly as a stray sunbeam left it to sparkle, attracting her to it. "Ah... I am not sure what this is." He spoke as he picked the shard up, turning it over between his fingers before pushing it closer to Rotom. The dex was quiet for several seconds, his stare intense, before eventually he looked up and gave the motion of shrugging. "Beats me. But, it might be worth something. Hold onto it until we can find someone to sell it to," he suggested, before making a face in response to the look of surprise Naomi gave him. "What? I'm a pokemon in a 'dex, not a supercomputer -- I don't know everything!"
Naomi laughed, resigning himself to this fact, then carefully placed the shard into his knapsack before rounding up the rest of his team to prepare to leave. Rotom had said there was a Pokecenter back on Route 2, and they'd use that as a chance to heal Mori, and have him checked on to assure that he truly was okay, and grab lunch.

►Saru watched as Avikna and Tay both took turns battling their respective foes. He watched to learn from them. Tay, may be young but she was already a skilled battler, though Avikna far outreached them all. She was in a league all her own in terms of raw skill and power. He was a bug compared to her. But this was why he watched. To learn and pilfer techniques proved by more experienced trainers. It didn't hurt that he got the low down on his and Chibi's opponents. Instantly though, as the Totem pokemon revealed itself, he knew Chibi stood no chance of victory against such a hulking beast. He wondered if he did either. Short of using Kong he didn't think any of his pokemon, even working together, could beat that Gumshoos, and Kong was uncontrollable so he was off the table, for now.
Watching the battle play out, all the same, he learned the trail captain and the totem pokemon where normal-type. That meant Caesar, Rafiki, and Curious George held the clean advantage with them all knowing at least 1 fighting type move. Even still he had to consider defeat a very real possibility. Curious George wasn't strong enough for such a battle. That left just Caesar and Rafiki. Not a good line up against such powerful adversary's. Chibi watched not realizing the power their foes held. "Chibi, come. We're not ready for this battle yet." Saru said reluctantly setting a hand on the young boy's shoulder. "But, master?' Saru shook his head. "No, we need to train, you especially, if we're to find victory in this fight. For now, we'll train and return when our pokemon are stronger." Chibi groaned but nodded in agreement all the same

The monk nodded pointing to a tree, visible just outside the mouth of the cave. "What is the most important part of a tree?" Chibi was quick to reply. "The leaves of course! They collect the sunlight to make food for the tree." Saru's smile faded as he shook his head no. "Then it has to be the roots because they collect the water." Again Saru shook his head. "The trunk?" And again. "What more is there to a tree?" Saru's smile returned faintly. "One is no more important than another. Always staying just out of reach. The Morelull on the other hand, was far to slow to flee. Not that it gave him an impression of wanting to avoid its new trainer. In fact, it looked to be quite enjoying the attention the boy showered it with. From his vantage point, Saru had been able to sense the aura of a familiar man approach. Another Monk from the Eacruteak Silver bell tower. An intense blue aura that swirled like a whirlpool and spread in all directions from its source. Saru said nothing waiting to see the man before making his approach known to Chibi. His coming here could mean only one thing. Someone was seeking to adopt the boy. An inevitability he'd prepared himself for and by extension Satoshi.

His beard reaching almost as far as the sleeves of his robes and dragging when he bowed. "Master, Hakuyama" Saru greeted calmly. Chibi had stood, bowed and now stood slightly behind and to the side of Saru. "I've come~""for the boy. I know." Saru interrupted catching the old monk at a conversational disadvantage. He blinked and pulling at his beard. Slouching forward using his staff for support.
"What? No." He replied bluntly with an air of bewilderment. "Whatever would make you think im here for Satoshi?" Saru slouched himself. The pressure of an unseen weight suddenly lifted from his shoulders. "Well I just figured if you were here, it had to be because~" His voice trailed off into silence. The pair exchanged a moment of shared looks of confusion. "Saru, when Chibi left the monastery with you, we assumed it was because you had decided to adopt the boy yourself." ☆ ☆【The interior of Verdant Cavern was quite breathtaking, Zoey couldn’t help but be taken slightly aback at the sight before her. She had seen this place only from the outside when she had been much younger, she hadn’t been allowed to go inside because it was a trial ground and because she didn’t have any Pokemon with her. To be able to actually see it on her own like this… it was absolutely a sight to behold. Rays of sunlight filtered in through the ceiling, providing enough lighting for them to be able to easily make their way through the caves. The cave itself was littered with all sorts of interesting terrain, natural bridges, ledges, slopes, moss-covered stones of all shapes and sizes, and loads of plant life flourishing beautifully on the rocky walls and floor. The sheer amount of greenery growing within the interior of the cavern certainly lent well to its namesake, this place was certainly unlike any other cave she had ever seen before in Hoenn.”Well it is certainly quite clear why it is called the ‘Verdant’ Cavern~”Orpheus spoke, humming in admiration as he took in the terrain around them,”Though I am certainly no van Gogh or Picasso myself, this place would be quite inspiring to capture on a canvas! If only I had brought my easel and paints with me.”

The dragon raised the Heart Scale and immediately sank his teeth into it, crunching the scale up into little bits before swallowing them. Just as Zoey whipped out his ball to try to call him back, Gar immediately turned tail and booked it deeper into the cave. Using Autotomize to reduce his weight, the Hakamo-o made a flying leap across the gap of chasm and landed onto the slope just beyond the ledge to their left before continuing to run with scales clanging about wildly. ”Oi! Get back here right now, Gar!” Zoey shouted after him, though her demands fell on deaf ears as Gar kept running, too far away now to be recalled into his ball. <********> she hissed as the clattering of his scales grew fainter, though was still audible as the noise ricocheted off the cavern walls.
”My, how troublesome…”Orpheus murmured with a scowl, ears perking up as he listened for the telltale noise of clacking scales as the Hakamo-o ran about the caves. ”He always does s**t like this… I really need a better means of restrainin’ him so he can’t just run off on his own and get into whatever trouble ends up findin’ him,” Zoey muttered with an exasperated sigh, ”We definitely gotta get him back before we leave here, that’s for damn sure.” The Zoroark shook his head, patting the woman on the back as he stepped forward.”Please, Fraulein, allow me to take care of the ruffian. I can certainly track him down quite easily, you focus on finding the Trial Captain in the meantime,”he offered with a soft, reassuring smile, figuring it was best to save her the time and trouble of trying to find her runaway dragon and put her efforts into finding Ilima and possibly training along the way. Zoey looked like she wanted to argue but held her tongue, they couldn’t waste too much time tracking down and wrangling Gar. Plus Orpheus had more of an edge between his keen senses, quick feet, and ability to disguise himself with his illusions. ”Alright, I’ll leave it to ya then, Orph. Drag the b*****d back by his tail if ya have to. And take some of these with ya too, just in case,” she ordered, trying to hold back her growing frustration in her tone as she reached into her bag to retrieve a handful of Potions that she passed over to the Zoroark, ”Just be careful.” Gar’s lack of logical intellect was more than compensated by his quick reflexes, strength, and resourceful cunning, a lean mean punching machine that was driven by sheer tenacity and instinct. The Hakamo-o may be an idiot, but he was definitely a dangerous idiot to boot. The Zoroark simply nodded, offering a grin to her before his visage faded away before their eyes, utilizing his illusion abilities to grant himself camouflage that shifted with the terrain around him. Hopping up the ledge, Orpheus stealthily made his way through the cave in the general direction Gar had gone, tracking the Hakamo-o’s scent and tracking the volume of clattering scales echoing all throughout the interior.】☆ ☆

☆ ☆【With Orpheus gone off in pursuit of Gar, that left Zoey, Eir, and Coltrane to traverse their way through the cavern on their own. The area in general didn’t seem all that large, but she wasn’t entirely sure where Ilima would even be if he was in here somewhere. Maybe he was at the end of the cavern, just before the Totem’s territory. They would definitely shoot for trying to reach the end, and if they happened to bump into the guy on the way there then that would be absolutely faaaantastic. ”Watch out for those dens there,” she warned Eir and Coltrane as they started down the slope, gesturing towards what looked like a large hut-like stone structure close by with a visible hole that appeared to have been dug into the side of it, ”Yungoos like to make their nests in these, and they’re pretty vicious lil’ bastards when they’re defendin’ their homes.” Growling and hissing could be faintly heard from the darkness beyond inside the stone den, the Rockruff immediately feeling somewhat uneasy as he moved to hide behind Eir. Zoey chuckled softly at the sight, like the one kid at school who hides behind his larger and much stronger friend as they face down the local gang of bullies. ”Hey, don’t worry too much about it. They won’t bother us if we don’t bother ‘em,” she assured with a grin, striking a confident pose with a raised fist, ”Unless they come lookin’ for a fight, then we’ll send ‘em right back where they came from!” The trio proceeded along the cave, passing by an exceptionally large mossy stone in the center of the path and heading towards the natural stone bridge/ramp crossing over the gap to the other side.
Gar had run a long way, crossing over the long plank bridge that crossed over the gap and scurrying up a ramp on the far end of the cave leading to a small tunnel passing underneath the wall. It definitely looked quite difficult for a six foot tall human like Zoey to pass through, but a much smaller Hakamo-o could fit through with no trouble at all. Crawling through the short archway, he leapt down from the ledge, his scales clattering with excitement. He could sense an especially strong Pokemon nearby, so he was going to do what would be considered the next clear, logical step for Gar to do. Find it and beat the absolute s**t out of it. He paused as he heard irritated hisses and chattering teeth from close by, his body tensing up as he turned to look at the dark hole openings in the rock face just feet away. With surprising speed, a dark shadow leapt out from one of the holes, smacking him right in the face with a vicious attack. Acting on instinct, Gar rattled his scales in preparation for battle as he turned to face down his apparent foe, a dark-furred Rattata in a bipedal battle stance glaring fiercely at him with ruby red eyes. Unleashing a shrieking battle cry, the rat lunged at him again, only to be rewarded with an iron hard headbutt crashing into it. Fueled by the strange purple orb he held onto, the Alolan Rattata hardly stood a chance as it flew back, hitting the cave wall back-first before falling to the ground defeated. Hearing more hissing from behind, Gar immediately turned around and raised an arm to intercept the second Rattata as it launched at him with a speedy strike. The Hakamo-o, however, had wised up to their tactics and protected himself, the rat harmlessly smacking against the steel-hard shield-like scales on his arm. Before it could think to try and counter, Gar’s other fist came whirling around as he smacked it with one hell of a powerful uppercut. The Rattata was sent up and away towards the furthest wall yards away, no longer any threat to him as the dragon snarled and jangled his scales in victory. He was feeling oddly a bit more drained than he should have been from just those couple of fights, but Gar growled lowly as he shook off the fatigue and pressed onwards. His primary target was somewhere close by, he could sense it…】☆ ☆

☆ ☆【As their threesome made progress through the cavern and crossed over the plank bridge, Zoey noticed the light mechanisms on Coltrane’s EXP Share blinking on and off every so often while the Rockruff sniffed at the ground to follow their lost teammate’s scent trail. That was definitely an indication that Gar was out fighting elsewhere in the cavern, either trying to get stronger so he could take on the Totem Pokemon or was just steamrolling anything that got in his way. ”Shouldn’t be too much further,” she murmured under her breath, keeping her ears peeled for the telltale jangling of his scales. If there was at least some semblance of a silver lining, though, at least if Gar was out there fighting it also meant that Coltrane would be growing gradually stronger as well by also sharing the experience the Hakamo-o was getting. So far it seemed like no wild Pokemon had tried to attack them, though she could already see the bodies of unconscious Alolan Rattatas scattered here and there as they reached the other side of the chasm. Yeah, he most definitely came through here, so surely he couldn’t be that much further away, right? Hopefully Orpheus was having much better luck tracking down that troublesome Hakamo-o...
Gar easily leapt up the ledge, he was getting closer and closer to where he was sure the strong Pokemon in this area was sure to be. He could hear more hissing from all around, and he immediately tensed up in preparation to take care of these impeding mooks. A Yungoos lunged out at him from a nearby den, but hardly had the chance to even try to land a hit as the Hakamo-o’s whirling fist caught it smack dab in the chin and sent it flying several feet in the air and into the cavern wall. Yet another Rattata leapt out from behind a nearby rock, attempting to get in a sneak attack while Gar’s attention was still focused on the now fainted Yungoos. Gar sneered as he caught it out of the corner of his eye, the same trick wouldn’t work twice, or even a third time in this case. Raising his arm, his shielding scales easily blocked the incoming blow, followed with a vicious steely headbutt that sent the Rattata sprawling across the ground before it even knew what had hit it. Hardly slowing his roll, Gar perked up as he could see bright light spilling in from another entrance at the other end of the cavern. Yes... the Pokemon he was looking for had to be through there, certainly. Picking up the pace a bit more, he made a beeline for the exit, pushing aside rocks and greenery alike so he could proceed unimpeded. He hadn't even noticed a blonde-haired young man dressed in the uniform of a Trial Guide standing by the exit, but the guy sure as hell noticed him.
"Hey there little guy, are you lost?"he asked, quirking an eyebrow as he eyed the seemingly stray Hakamo-o coming closer and closer. A look of surprise reflected across his face when he noticed it was heading for the Totem Pokemon's trial grounds, and immediately moved to block its path."Whoa now! You can't go in there, those are the trial grounds!"he objected, finally making the wandering dragon halt in its tracks and direct a baleful glare in his direction. Rather than backing off like he had hoped, the Hakamo-o tried to go around him, yet again finding its path blocked by the guide as he refused to let it go any further."I said you really shouldn't go in there, you really shouldn't be here either unless you're with someone,"he repeated once more, his voice raised and his tone much sterner,"Do you have a trainer? Where are they? Can you take me to them?"At this point, Gar had had more than enough of this, his goal was just beyond the cavern exit and yet this human was annoyingly insistent on getting in his way. With a clang of scales and fists clenched tightly, the Hakamo-o popped a hasty Autotomize to enhance himself and suddenly lunged at the man with uncanny boosted speed before he had a chance to react and socked him right in the gut with a strong punch. Eyes blown wide in shock and pain, the man immediately crumpled to a heap on the ground, hands holding his sore midriff as he groaned. Taking the opportunity, Gar leapt over the fallen human and proceeded onwards through the exit. Unbeknownst to him, a hidden pair of eyes had watched the whole scene unfold from a couple yards away as his unseen pursuer had almost caught up with him. Orpheus, still shrouded in his camouflaging illusion, made his way over, shooting a sympathetic look at the groaning man lying in a fetal position on the ground. As much as he hated to just leave him there, he still had a Hakamo-o to catch... And with Zoey and the rest hopefully not too far behind, the man would still get the help he'd need relatively soon. Nevertheless, the illusioned Zoroark respectfully stepped around the prone human and quietly padded out through the exit in pursuit of Gar.】☆ ☆

►Saru watched as Avikna and Tay both took turns battling their respective foes. He watched to learn from them. Tay, may be young but she was already a skilled battler, though Avikna far outreached them all. She was in a league all her own in terms of raw skill and power. He was a bug compared to her. But this was why he watched. To learn and pilfer techniques proved by more experienced trainers. It didn't hurt that he got the low down on his and Chibi's opponents. Instantly though, as the Totem pokemon revealed itself, he knew Chibi stood no chance of victory against such a hulking beast. He wondered if he did either. Short of using Kong he didn't think any of his pokemon, even working together, could beat that Gumshoos, and Kong was uncontrollable so he was off the table, for now.
