He could understand her desire to move away from the Luau if they were going to ask him, though. It was one thing to brandish a strange item, but it was another entirely to drop in with a massive, Legendary pokemon... Then again, she could just be in a hurry to leave, but he wasn't going to dig in about it. "Alright, that's fine. I'll follow you up there, if you'll lead the way."
Now that they were on the topic of flying out, Zero reached for his flying-type's pokeball, letting out Ashen beside him. The pale Charizard looked around curiously, interested in what was going on around him. But once all parties were ready, Zero climbed onto his back, ready to set out. As much as the fire-type wanted to stick around and see what he missed, he knew what to do, leaning over for Nova to hop on behind their trainer, and the "mysterious" shadow to find a spot in the shade beneath him.

Glad to hear Zero complied with Avikna's idea of lifting off into the sky, the red-head wasted no time getting mounted on the back of her own Mega Charizard. Of course Avikna took a moment to look over Zero's Charizard. Pure white, with various accents of blue, it looked rather interesting. Arietty herself perked up slightly upon seeing Zero release the lizard. 'Oh, Hello.' Arietty growled lightly in greeting. 'You must be the Charizard, Jas mentioned.' Arietty looked back towards Avikna, who was motioning upward. She turned her gaze back to see the other Charizard lifting off. She quickly followed after, lifting off the ground and following Zero upwards into the sky. Tay herself quickly rushed over to Mave, who also took flight to join the others up in the sky.
It wasn't long before they were high above Melemele Island. Large, white, puffy clouds had rolled in, giving them the perfect cover from below. The air was thin, but no so hard to breath. Avikna held her gaze to the sky, all she could see was clear blue, but she knew.... he was somewhere up there. Not sure if he was telepathic or not, the red-head angled a hand over her eyes to guard them from the nearby sun. "Ookoth!" She called as loud as she could. At first there was nothing, but as he'd done in previous battles, the Dragon emerged from the clear blue, at a unbelievable speed. It almost seemed that he wasn't going to stop, but sure enough, the dragon halted himself, the wind he created from going so fast picked up, forcing Arietty to beat her wings down to keep balanced, as with Mave. The dragon's gaze shifted between Avikna and Zero, what he was thinking was uncertain. 'I would ask what you wanted of me, but I already know.' A voice that sounded of some older male, gravely and low, echoed through the sky, what otherwise sounded like grumbles and growls, came out as words that either human could understand. 'Let me see it.' Ookoth spoke, turning his head towards Zero. 'You have the orb which we gifted the humans long ago to summon us if our power was needed.' By now it was clear he wanted nothing more than to see the orb which Zero had just recently brandished.

Ashen didn't seem to notice the attention until Arietty greeted him, the horns on the back of his head twitching slightly as he turned to attention. "Oh! You're friends with them too?" He asked curiously, the closest thing to a smile he could make on his face. "We didn't get much time together, but it was really fun flying everywhere with someone again." As much as he'd love to stay and talk, his trainer drew him out to take him into the sky, so as soon as Zero and Nova were mounted, he lifted off into the air.
The pale Charizard slowed his ascent partway to even out the gap between him and Arietty, rising up higher and higher until the crimson flier leveled out, stopping high above the clouds. The young man wasn't used to being at high altitudes like this, but his breathing didn't change too much. He glanced at Avikna as she called for her legendary dragon, her voice carrying far into the distance before the echoes faded. The silence that followed made Zero a bit uneasy, but he waited nonetheless, his gaze sweeping he horizon until he saw the green blip in the distance... Turn into the massive, serpentine dragon stopping directly in front of them in a fraction of the time he thought a pokemon could move.
There was little time to react, and Ashen seemed a little startled by the Legendary suddenly appearing before them. To keep them from being blown back, Nova wrapped them all in a small barrier, to make the winds part around them rather than push them back. It took a little more effort than what she'd expected, but by the time it cleared, Ookoth was already speaking in some universal tongue. "R-Right..." Once he recovered, the young man opened his bag and reached in to dig the orb back up, helped by Nevermoor who'd already snuck inside and lifted it up for him to find. Once he had it, he held it up, keeping a tight grip so it didn't go flying from his grasp.

Arietty swayed her tail some, nodding to the other Charizard's words. Though Avikna had never flown with anyone.. other than Tay, She could still understand what fun it would be to be flying with someone else, especially someone with another Charizard like themselves. Lifting into the air, it wasn't long before they found their destination... for the time being.
Ookoth tilted his head down some, to get a better look of the male human before him. He watched closely as he pulled out the orb which Ookoth had asked him to show him. "Hmm... Yes, I sense a familiarity with this one." Ookoth seemed to shift back, thinking more on this feeling he had. "I haven't seen the one who is bound to that stone in ages... " Shifting back even more, the dragon lifted up a claw and pointed to the ocean in the distance. "I know not if the one bound to that stone will come to your call, but I would suggest venturing to the place you humans erected to worship my kin... You call it the Skypillar Tower. There the power of ancients might help you call the one bound to that stone." Ookoth rested on his suggestion, leaning forward once more to bring his head level with the two trainers. "Is that all you need from me?" He inquired. It wasn't like he had anywhere particular to go, so Avikna ignored the dragon's question, looking to Zero instead. "I've heard of the Skypillar Tower, it's in Hoenn." She stated. "It's not hard to miss, you can see it from Slateport." She added. "Anyway, good luck with summoning a Rayquaza or whatever..." Avikna may of not known it, but she was somewhat interested in the whole process of summoning a legendary Pokemon, but when it came to prior plans she really wanted to just get moving already. Once quick glance over to Mave and Tay told Avikna that her plans of going separate ways from Zero may end up in more pouting.

Zero listened intently at the Rayquaza's words, glad to hear that the stone was genuine. But his words also made him curious. Familiarity? Was there something about the specific Legendary tied to it that Avikna's knew? Or were all of them just connected in some way? He let that question settle quietly as Ookoth continued his explanation. He looked over at Avikna when she chimed in at the end, explaining where the Skypillar is. "Yeah, I remember it," he notes, adjusting himself on Ashen. "I grew up in Lilycove, so I've had a pretty good view of it for a while."
For a moment, the orange rays on the horizon catch his eye. He glances over at the setting sun, only now realizing that it'd gotten quite late after all the time they'd spent talking. It probably was best for all involved that they go ahead on their separate ways, he didn't really want to hold them up. "Thanks, both of you," he said, looking at Ookoth before turning to Avikna. "And hopefully we'll run into each other again, when neither of us are in any rush." Zero and his pokemon said their goodbyes, and then dove down back beneath the clouds, where Ashen started them on the path towards Skypillar Tower.

"That's me," he jokingly boasted. "Well rounded." He looked over at Fabian, gaze surprisingly clear of any sort of judgement, before he turned back to Melody. "I can imagine. I don't know if I could ever do that, don't think I have the skill." Or the patience, or the want. He'd be a terrible adult babysitter, he'd leave that to Melody.
He gave a simple nod at Fabian, but in the back of his mind he couldn't help but to consider how strange a greeting that had been; not because of Fabian, but the whole 'Mister Lysander'. He'd never been called 'mister' before, it was odd, and made him feel... old. Lysander emitted a chuckle, a sound awkward to his own ears, and for a moment he scrambled to think of something to do with his hands -- they were.. he wasn't comfortable in this position now. Thinking quickly, and trying to regain his composure, the redhead stuffed his hands into his pocket and pitched a relaxed smirk. "How kind of you. Next time, I'll make sure to say it when you aren't in earshot," he joked.
"Yeah! It's pretty rare though, I hear," Heather educated, then placed Cadenza down to give him the opportunity to wander about if he so cared; just as long as he didn't go too far. "Maybe if you go to Hoenn, you can catch yourself one too!" Out of habit, she looked down to watch Cadenza's movement, which wasn't very far -- just over to Fabian's Torchic. "Oh hey!" Her eyes brightened. "That's one of Hoenn's starters! Right, Lys?" Heather nudged her brother, commandeering his attention and redirecting it towards Susie. He eyed it for a moment, then nodded his head. "Mhm." The younger sibling turned back to Fabian, "are you going through Hoenn right now? That'd probably make your search easier then!"
Heather laughed. "Your mom has great taste!" she complimented. "Could you? Maybe we can trade numbers, and then you can tell me." Had she known the sort of reaction that waited her by asking the simple question, Heather would've asked sooner. She listened, with wide eyes full of curious wonder, as he asked Melody if he liked music, a simple question. Lysander snorted at Melody's response, more cautiously curious than amused; unlike Heather.
She erupted into a small smattering of applause when Fabian broke into song, her eyes widening impossibly. "You're so good," she breathed. Lysander, less than impressed, leaned in close to Melody. "I still can't tell," he spoke, in a lower tone only really audible for her. "Does he like music?" It was convenient? Though, that Fabian also liked to sing, he and Heather would have more in common now; technically, he'd also have something else in common with him, but he wasn't going to address that just yet. Heather, on the other hand, was practically bursting at the seams to unveil her talent. "I do~ I can bake some, and dance a little," she revealed, with a smile of her own. "♬ I can also sing~ ♬"

Tay appeared rather upset, her arms still waving wildly towards the male and the Gardevoir who were now completely gone below the clouds. "Tay." Avikna voiced. Arietty flew over towards Mave. Tay turned her gaze back to Avikna, notable tears welling up in her eyes, but with a smile she nodded. There was no use lingering here anymore anyway. With that, the duo headed below the clouds themselves.
Ookoth rose back into the sky, eventually picking up speed, leaving the atmosphere of earth to float up in space. Avikna glanced up for a brief moment to watch him vanish into the sky. Despite being out in the vacuum of space he still managed to come to her when she needed him most... and when she'd called him, he came so quickly. It was... cause for curiosity. Melody gave another chuckle, playfully shoving Lysander once he dropped back flat on his feet and had the balance. "Oh definitely. Careful of hills though, or you might never stop rolling," the blonde joked. She took a glance at Fabian as well, ‘hm’ing as she gave a silent nod. She wouldn’t exactly call it a ‘skill’; it was more a built-up tolerance to all the ridiculousness that came with dealing with a person like Fabian. Overall, it probably wasn’t healthy to blatantly ignore the bombardment of silly but… well those consequences would come later.
She watched Lysander curiously as he seemed to grow uncomfortable after Fabian’s greeting, only relaxing once he’d gone and shoved his hands in his pockets. She smirked again though as he finally gave a response. "Oh? Well then I’ll watch out for a sneeze."
Fabian listened with wide-eyed interest as Heather explained where Spinda originated, head bobbing a bit as he took in the information, Hoenn, hm? That’s where they’d just been! Or started rather. If he could catch one himself that would be awesome. He blinked and took a gander back as Cadenza toddled toward’s Susie. The Torchic perked up and chirped, cautiously skipping forward to observe the odd looking pokemon.
Fabian grinned and gave a thumb up. "You got it! That’s where we started in fact!" He grinned, head tilting a moment. "What about you? Where’d you two start off in?" If Spinda came from Hoenn, then had they visited? It sounded like it would be only Lysander who had given that he got it for her. What starter did they choose if they had one at all?
The young man grinned and gave a bow at the round of applause, chest puffing out a bit in pride. "Why thank you very much!! Just a natural don’tcha know!" He chimed, Melody gave Lysander a side look when he inquired about Fabian’s claim, a look of disbelief slightly overcoming her features. She took a moment to determine if he was asking an honest question with that given what just happened and when it seemed clear that he wasn’t joking, gave a nod of her head.
"Yeah, he does. He sings, in case that wasn’t obvious," she answered, eyebrow quirking. "What? Surprised?" Fabian of course was wide-eyed as Heather revealed her own score of talents. Baking was good, as was dancing but what really made him explode in glee. "Oh yeah baby! Don’t hide those vocals!" Fabian grinned, looking about ready to start singing something else. Melody promptly pinched the back of his ear, resulting in a yelp and a glare. Melody didn’t seem to care, arms folding back over her chest before looking at Heather with an apologetic smile.
"Sorry, Fabi get’s excited about singing." She remarked, tilting her head curiously. "So, you’re a singer too Heather? Sounds like something that runs in the family."

He would probably be better off avoiding cities where he could. Dryly, he thought that it was something Jun would have said- indeed, it was something Jun had been adamant about when they first started out, traveling to New bark town by weeks of sleeping in the forest. Jun's abandonment still hurt, but Takumi found himself thinking, What would Jun do. He took a grim satisfaction in getting value out of him even after he'd left. You want to leave? Fine. Takumi's past, coupled with his current plan, did not bode well for his social life.He had already spent a childhood largely isolated from others, the closest thing he had to a friend being Jun. Who had justunceremoniously abandoned him. And now Takumi was planning on setting out to live in the woods...with nothing but his pokemon as companions... And he was developing a wall around his heart, that said "Humans, keep out." The only ones who he'd ever been able to rely on were his pokemon, anyways. So far people had a lousy track record.

Tha Alolan isles sang their siren song, calling to Takumi to stay. He had fell into the trap before at the Resort, but he found himself unwilling to resist it. He was fast growing to long for the blue skies and beaches. It wasn' t hard to rationalize an excuse to stay here. He didn't have money for a boat ride, and even if he did, Andrei would expect Takumi to run. In a way, Alola might be the safest place for him right now. And there was one thing Andrei didn't know... Andrei still thought Tzut was alive. He would likely assume Takumi had the use of teleport at his disposal, and act accordingly. It wasn't much, but it probably meant he would assume Takumi was long gone from Alola. In a way, Tzut was protecting him even from the grave.
Takumi had been lingering on the edges of the Luau, clinging to the respite it had offered from all his problems. But as the torches went out and not even a whiff of smoky pork remained in the air, he had to accept that it was over. Time to go back to whatever his life was now. Takumi turned, heading down the sloping path away from town. He picked up Haunani, stroking the vulpix's snowy fur. He wanted Nala, but knew that she was the only pokemon Andrei would recognize and be asking for so he had to keep her hidden. Haunani was surprisingly calm in his arms, compared to Nala when he had first gotten her. She had been so squirmy. She and Tzut were one of the only good things he'd ever gotten from his family. That and his good looks, of course.

"Oh Arceus, that was terrible," he responded, through his laugh. Voiced merriment fading away, his expression relaxed into a more neutral one, though it wasn't long before he had cracked another smile. "What's to say it just won't be allergies?" he suggested, clearly the best follow-up question. "And, how will you know it'd be me talking about you? Maybe it'll be someone else."
Cadenza waved to Susie, though even that was enough to send him off balance and toddling backwards, then sideways. "Oh? Do you like it there? How many badges do you have?" Heather, as excited as she was, was careful not to bombard Fabian with too many questions--it'd been far too long since she'd been able to interact with anyone other than her brother--and would wait patiently for him to answer those few, before asking any other. While she waited, she'd answer his. "We started in Kalos. Lys got himself a Froakie." A Froakie that probably would've enjoyed stretching his legs, as would the rest of their pokemon, no doubt. They'd have to do that soon.
Ever pleased to have found a fellow singer, Heather kept up with her applause before allowing it to die out. "You're very welcome, my good sir." It was such a coincidence! The friend of Lysander's friend being a singer. Maybe this was fate! "Do you sing too, Melody?" Heather turned to the older girl, and in the process caught sight of the look she was giving her brother. Had he said something dumb? He could do that sometimes. Lysander caught his sister's eye, but promptly slid his gaze away before she could begin her not-as-subtle-as-she-might've-thought look. He'd honestly been kidding when he'd asked about the whole music thing, he just hadn't put enough sarcasm in his voice, but rather than try and awkwardly explain that, he just went with it.
"Oh, yeah." Lysander turned to look at Melody. "Here you were, joking with me about joining a boy group, when all this time you've been traveling with the leader of one. I'm surprised you haven't been attacked by fan girls yet." Heather beamed, at this point her cheeks were starting to hurt from all her smiling, and waved Fabian away, semi-sheepishly. "D'aww." Before either could get carried away--because if Fabian started singing, Heather would definitely join in--Fabian was stopped by Melody, and Heather laughed softly. "It's fine. Singing is an exciting topic, after all!" She blinked, surprised that Lysander had told Melody about his singing -- or, wait, he had said they'd met at music camp; soooo. "Yeah! Our mom is a vocal coach. So, we got that talent from her!"

Melody just snickered a little at the response. "Yeah, it was," she conceded, folding her arms over her chest once more. "I don’t have allergies, that’s why." She did consider that second question though, head tilting thoughtfully. "Fair enough, though I’ll still just blame you anyways," Melody teased.
Suzie watched Cadenza curiously as she waved and toddled off balance at the same time, her little head tilting curiously as she chirped and hopped a few steps forward to inspect her further. Fabian grinned, chest puffing out some. "It’s pretty swingin’! I’ve gotten two badges so far… may go for that third sometime soon." The young man replied, more than happy to answer the questions launched his way. He quirked an eyebrow again, looking in awe. "Oooh wow! Kalos? Really? That’s awesome! That place has some of the best performance studios around! You been to any?" Kalos was like the grand estate of anything fame and fashion related. Really, he’d wished they’d had more time to explore there during the egg hunt. Maybe later?
"A little bit, but certainly not as much as Fabi there." Melody answered, eyes rolling at Lysander’s remark. "I guess you’re right; he’s looking for members and all so would you like to join?" She commented, giving him another gentle shove. Fabian grinned wildly in his own right at the information going about, crazily excited about it all. What was clearly a coincidence didn’t even seem to faze him at all; in fact, he took it as the luck of the draw to find himself in the presence of other fellow singers and music lovers.
"Ooooh, a vocal coach? That’s amazing! You get like your own personal training sessions and all!" He semi-gushed, which just caused Melody to roll her eyes a bit. Sure, singing was an exciting topic but Fabian was the last person on the face of the planet to start such a conversation with. He did seem to stop a moment and think, looking to Lysander curiously. "You sing too then?"
